Instead, their so-called "customer service team" shoots me emails asking for the same information, I.e., order number, tracking number of return, date of return, style number of item. They claim they can't find my order. When you call their Customer Service Support line, you're put on hold indefinitely. I have tried making multiple calls to them and have given up. I LOVE Loft, and always make it a point to stop in the Times Square Store when I visit NYC! This visit didn't disappoint; the staff was helpful, and the dressing room attendant was really sweet and very helpful. The plus about shopping in NYC is that you don't pay sales tax!!! Loft @ 1459 Broadway My daughter and I have been shopping at this Loft for years. The clothes are stylish and suitable for the office look. The best thing about shopping here is Petite sizes. I can purchase pants and not have six inches extra length. Same for blouses with sleeve length. I also like the accessories. Shoes, bags and belts are worthy of the brand name. Naturally we wait until there's a sale or permanent mark down. It's a great place when you need that special piece of clothing such as a basic black pant or dress. My daughter gets a lot of their costume jewelry. It's well made and worth the price. I like this location. Everyone that works here is nice. The store is always neatly organized. I ordered Loft online. I always order the same size, however the fit always varies to either too large or too small. Never a good fit. The quality of their clothes also vary. Sweaters always pill and some of the fabrics are poor quality. They charge $8.95 for returns which doesn't pay to for me to ever take the chance on ordering in the future. Everything was 50% off during a recent visit. EVERYTHING! They have functioning dressing rooms...so that is a plus in the post Covid era. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Limited "petite" sizes...so after 2 hours and twiddling my thumbs, wife only came away with one or 2 items. This store is open 7 days a week. The one downtown in the financial district is closed on Saturday and Sunday. If this is your spot, schlepp up to Times Square. read more

I was passing through the city from Long Island and wanted to see the NYE prep excitement. So I ventured into the chaos of Times Square. Having just received a Loft gift card, I walked into the beautiful store just off Broadway. I needed long pants. I was politely told they don't carry women's tall sizes in store. I decided to browse then order something online. Having found some pretty good sales on winter clothes, which being a native Floridian I do not own yet, I decided to use my card right then. It's pretty confusing. Identical items in different sizes had vastly different prices. A dress in size large was $99, while the same identical dress in a small was marked $38. I went to purchase a white and blue striped sweater that was $59.99-50% off in small, but saw a Medium for $24.88 final sale-60% off. That was a great deal. I'll take it! Realizing that petite clothing were different prices than regular clothing in an identical style, I thought this was the norm here. I chose three sweaters and a pair of lounge pants. All on sale. Once I got to the front, nothing rang up as marked on the tags. The blue and white striped sweater that was $24.88 +60% off in a size medium, was not honored And I was practically accused of switching stickers. When I told the manager that the entire section of mediums were marked at final sale prices and should be an extra 60 off, she proceeded to bring up an arm full of smalls at the $59.99 price and tried to prove me wrong. I knew the smalls were marked at the higher price which is why I wanted to purchase the medium. I was insulted. I told her she should go now and remove the Mediums from the shelf so other customers aren't disappointed and rebuffed. She did not. She wanted to hold tight to her tone of accusation that I did something wrong. Not her employees. I'm hoping that this store's policy of shaming customers before problem checking facts or the possibility that incompetent employees mismarked clothing prices, is unique to this location. As my first shopping experience at Loft, this was a huge fail, and would deter me from coming into the store again. The other employee that was helping me at first was very kind, but she had no influence over the manager that was dead set on treating her customers like thieves. Needless to say I will not be going back, and I will be returning the one sweater I bought so the bad vibes don't cling to it, even though I like it. My wardrobe includes many articles of clothing from Loft. I've been buying clothes from them for the past 10 years and through the years, they've become a lot more contemporary/stylish. This location is one of my favorites since it is the flagship store. Loft is an apparel and accessories store that is (for the most part) age neutral, reasonably priced and stylish. From trousers and dresses to skirts and tops (and more) there's a good selection. I also love their statement jewelry and scarves. Their clothes fit me well. For those who are petite, there is an entire section that caters to them. Associates are always helpful and will search for a certain item on an iPad for availability at either another store location or online. I learned through the years to never buy anything full price. There is no need to since their 30%, 40% and even 50% discounts run frequently For instance, Thanksgiving weekend will be 50% off everything. Clothing styles range from business casual, holiday & weekend wear to sleepwear, active and outerwear. If in the area, check it out. read more

I visited this location for their Loftimist Day 2.20.20! the day was filled with free juices and coffee from 8-2pm followed by free manicure from 5-8pm. Unfortunately.m, the wait was too long for me and I didn't get to stay. Definitely expensive but not as expensive as Ann Taylor proper. If you have a Loft card, they will send you discounts and coupons on your bday. However, there seemed to just be a lot of empty space and nothing different from other Loft stores I've visited. I am from out of town, and I was desperate to buy an outfit for work after being asked by my company to stay in NYC two extra days. On my walk home from the office to my hotel, I was on the hunt to buy something really quickly at the first store I passed. I went to Banana Republic and Zara before passing LOFT. BR and Zara were not helpful, and I was starting to become disenchanted about my search. Hallelujah for LOFT and the sales associate Dieynaba. Seriously cannot say this with enough emphasis how amazing Dieynaba is! She helped me find something that fit (which is hard for my body size) that went with my personal style. Aaaah, the flagship. This Loft is THEEE Loft. This Loft is the flagship, mainly because it's at the crossroads of the world...also because the corporate offices are right upstairs. Considering the massive size of this spot you would think they had everything. Sometimes it's hit or miss. I usually only come here to return items but recently I was able to come in and exchange 2 pairs of pants for some that fit. The thing with shopping online is that 1. everything is less than in the store 2. they usually have things in the store 3. there is always a sale. ALWAYS The only thing is that a lot of the clothes fit weird and I almost always have to return a majority of what I purchased. I was surprised that they had my size in stock when I wanted to get more items and that the manager was nice enough to make it an exchange, even though the pants weren't on sale (but they always are!!). The sale section is meh. I don't think I've ever bought anything from there. The better sale section is at the Loft downtown on Broadway. Tiny store, but great sale section. I really stay away from mass produced clothing, but Loft has pants that fit me so well and the price can't be beat. read more

This is the best Loft to shop in. This is the flagship store so they get the merchandise other Loft's do not. They are also more likely to have the items you want in stock or items you would normally only find online. Now the only downside to this store is it is located in Times Square, so you have to force yourself through all the Elmo's and tourists to go inside. When there is a sale the line can be very long, most of the time they will get through it fairly quickly though. Still I would go to this Loft before the one on the UES, Grand Central, or the UWS because they will have a lot more in stock. read more

One of the loveliest shopping experiences I have had in a long time. It's rare I go shopping for clothes in person anymore, I order most things online. I actually dropped into Loft to return a couple of things I ordered online that didn't work. While there a few articles of clothing caught my eye and I picked them up to possibly try on. A sales associate approached me once I had a few items in my hand to ask if she could start a fitting room for me. I really appreciated that since it's much easier to browse around empty handed. I chose a few more items and proceeded to the fitting room. I was immediately greeted by one of the friendliest staff members I have ever experienced in a fitting room (I think her name was Ellen?) and she shows me to my room. My experience with NYC fitting rooms have always been complete and utter chaos. This fitting room was so clean and the associate was so attentive and grabbed me a few different sizes that I needed. 99% of fitting room staff I have experienced in other stores could not care less about the customers so this was such a pleasant surprise. I ended up purchasing a few beautiful pieces and I can't wait to return to do some more in person shopping. If this was how in person shopping was at every store I would do it a lot more often. read more

See, i rarely go to Loft but sometimes i'll go there once or twice when i find stuff that other clothing store don't have. This location is pretty nice actually despite being at Times Square. I remember one time my mom had to get certain size and one of the staff patiently looked for it. Mom got what she wanted and left the store happy. Price is of course a tad bit more than the next door neighbor but sometimes you just have to stick with quality although do look around for sale items. read more

I'm not sure why I keep coming back here. Maybe it's the lovely window displays or the constant 50% off sales. Or the fact that I have to pass this place on my way to and from work. Whatever it is, the place keeps luring me in. Don't get me wrong, the clothes are beautiful and the quality is decent, but nothing seems to fit me properly. I normally don't review stores, but I just love the Loft and this location is my favorite! For starters, it's walking distance from me and the largest loft I've ever been in. They always have really cool window displays that contribute to that Time Square pizzazz. Even though this location is usually pretty busy, the store itself is really organized and there's always plenty of staff working. You never have to wander too far if you have a question. Also, the employees are really friendly and genuinely seem to enjoy their job. I never experience any of that typical retail sass you can sometimes find in NY. The quality of the clothing is really superb, I own several dresses and pants and they've all held up with no issues. A few helpful tidbits: -If they don't have your size they'll order it for you and ship it to you for free -Don't ever buy anything full price here! They constantly have sales ranging from 40-60% off -If you do buy something full price, and then it goes on sale, they do a price adjustment within 7 days. read more

This is the best Loft I've been to in the city. By best, I mean it's massive and has the most stuff. That being said, it's located in the Seventh Circle (Welcome to Times Square, babes!) Is it worth it to come here if you're not already in Times Square? Can't say (I work in Midtown so I'm already in the area), but I can say that if you do come here, you'll be (happily) overwhelmed by the amazing, surprising well-organized Sale section. I came in, was only intending to shop for 30 minutes, and I walked out well over an hour later -- there was just so much to go through and I didn't want to miss out on a great sale! The staff is really hit or miss. Two sales associates were blatantly rude and abrupt with me, while one was sweet and another went above and beyond the call of customer service (Example: I've been on the hunt for a good pair of jeans and when I found ones that I liked but weren't in the right size, I asked her if she could get me a different size and any other jeans in my size because I really liked the fit (I was in the dressing room by this point.) She brought me back five pairs of jeans to try and one of the ones she brought me was one I hadn't picked up, ended up loving and bought! I wish I knew her name because she should get an "Employee of the Month" or whatever.) Sidenote: The dressing room line moves surprisingly quick considering how busy it is. read more

The Petite section of Loft, especially at this location, is my SAVIOR. I have a hard time finding fitting professional pants, and I have found the most perfect most professional most chic pants here. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and honest. The actual store is large, glossy, and clean. I just love browsing. Also, their jewelry is really fun and colorful yet chic. When I want cute dresses that claim their work appropriate (but aren't) then I head to this LOFT that is the mecca of most the LOFT's in NYC! It's huge, has a great petite section, and it's right off the 42nd Street subway so it's really easy to get to no matter what train you take! Only complaint would be the hit or miss way the dressing room attendants are staffed. Sometimes they are quite phenomenal and helpful, sometimes they just look surly and sour about being asked the smallest thing ("um, does this come in any other colors?" "no." *awkward silence*). I go here because they have great deals on stuff, and cute clothes for spring and summer (winter and fall are not their forte's). Thanks LOFT, for making me a bit more stylish! read more

Super disappointed with this Loft. I ordered online to pick up in store. When I got to the store something told me to check the items to make sure they were ok... so the scarf I ordered had a huge pull in it (very visible) & the sweater was stained. This happened to me before with this location & I complained about it but I guess they still did not fix the problem. If I'm ordering from online I'm expecting that the items look fine when I pick them up in store, not stained or with a pull in it. Come on loft ! Def won't be coming back here again. read more

I fell in love with this brand while on my US trip. Tailored, good quality work clothes, that fit me, at a reasonable cost? Who could ask for anything better? I like that this location has fantastic selection and a large portion of the styles are also available in petite here. The downside is how busy the store can be - right on the corner of Times Square does anyone expect anything different? Anyways, even with how busy it was, the sales staff were very attentive to my needs and ensuring I had the right sizes in all the styles I was trying on (I must have been in the fitting room for at least an hour). During my trip I returned back to this location twice more with friends and both times the staff were friendly and some even recognized me. As I walked everywhere in NY I cannot comment on parking, but my best guess is that it is a nightmare so best to stick with the Subway or walking. I frequent this LOFT location every few months or so. I've never had a problem. Today I popped in, dressed down and with a few bags. It's the day after Black Friday. I was completely profiled by the security guard and a female employee. I caught the security guard indiscreetly peeking his head out from behind racks. Meanwhile, I'm being assisted by a sales associate who's getting a size for me from the back. I waved and smiled at him as if to say, "Hey, nitwit! I can see you!" The sales associates (with the exception of the aforementioned female employee) were great, in the dressing room and on the floor. I didn't realize there was a Loft location here til I browsed on Yelp the other day. I read in other reviews (of other locations) that the sales people are pushy about signing up for the credit cards, or that salespeople were unhelpful. But not here. During my visit, a salesperson 'welcomed' me into the dressing room area on two different occasions, and once when I came out of the dressing room, I saw her giving careful advice to another customer (ie; looking at an outfit with a critical eye). In general I like the clothing though the bright colors scare my inner New Yorker. I walked away with three pairs of cropped pants that fit me wonderfully. I find that the LOFT is usually hit or miss, but this location is fantastic. It's easy to get to and very clean. The sale rack is excellent in that it has a variety of styles and sizes and is very organized. There are plenty of dressing rooms and the staff are always very helpful. Always like to stop by here to take a look when I'm in the area. This is a big store and centrally located in the heart of times square right next to the station. I believe they're open until 10 or 11pm most nights and open 8am on weekdays. The store has a nice selection of clothing, as it takes up an entire corner!
