I recently flew into NYC to see my family and immediately get a facial/massage. My sister bought this Groupon deal and so we decided to go together. If you pay attention to the building numbers, you'll find this place no problem. We quickly realized the spa wasn't in the restaurant so we went upstairs. The door was locked and we weren't greeted right away BUT this was literally such a minimal "problem". We called beforehand letting them know we'd be 30min late and they didn't have a problem with it. Wonderful! They honored the Groupon deal price in store, which made our experience stellar. We were given private rooms next to one another. Maggie was my aesthetician, doing my facial & WOW she is fantastic. Her attention to detail, her care, and methods literally put me to sleep (in the best way). She has hands of gold & my face feels AMAZING. I can't remember the last time i looked THIS GOOD & my face this healthy. Following my 70min facial (she exceeded time & i loved every additional moment) i had a 60minute massage with Judy. She had very strong hands and really worked to get the knots out of my tight shoulders and lower back. Instead of the typical soft hands you receive with other massages, Judy was strong the whole way through and left me sore but completely relaxed. I couldn't thank her enough. Unfortunately for me, i live in California BUT my sister will certainly be returning here & anytime i am back in town, i will be coming back for another facial/massage. they are fine, I also had the masseuse go in and out of the room during massage, which is odd. massage was very much a mechanical routine but still quite nice If you got the coupon deal, they over charge on tax. They are only supposed to charge a nyc 4.5% service tax on what you paid not the rack rate, and they do demand a $10 tip. In my case this was funny, because I offered a $10 tip and they said, no I pay tax and at least $10 tip. ookay.. HORRIBLE!!! I arrived for my scheduled appointment and there was nobody there and door was locked (during regular hours). I called twice and finally somebody came to the door. She spoke ZERO English but nodded her head and said yes, making me believe she understood what I was saying. She proceeded to put globs and globs of various creams and products on my face-- due to the language barrier I am still u sure what that entailed. I spent the whole hour in panic mode. The place was hard to find because theres a lot of other massage parlors around the area also upstairs. Went to a couple of places before I got there. Therr wasnt much of a greeting...when i walked in they just kinda ignored me and I was too shy to speak up first. I started looking around and one lady said something me finally loool. I had gotten a Groupon for an hour massage and called in before. I told her I called in before and she said "yes". The lady who massaged me knew what she was doing because she touched my shoulder and said to me that I have a lot of "knots" there and seem to be very stressed. And she worked mostly on that part until she finally said to me it loosen up a lot and asked me where else. I just told her wherever she finds more knots and she worked on my neck next which she also found a lot of knots. Although she only worked on two places I felt like jelly when she was done. Literally all the stress has left my body. This was 8/1/2017. I hope the quality of their massages fidnt change because I am going back tomorrow with another Groupon! Too bad I never asked for her name. You get your own room for the massage and there's generic meditation music. Amazing!! Definitely come back for more services. Friendly staff, warm welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. They spent so much time on my facial. I like that they willing run extra mile to teach me how to take good care of my own skin. K, Let us back to the result. In this little short session, I can tell my skin is visibly brighter and skin looks more even. I have very sensitive skin I worry about that. But I am glad that it is super comfortable. Massage was good and the place is clean and quiet. Massage was thorough and my friends facial was excellent. the 1 star is because after service they DEMANDED a tip. we didn't get any extra services and we paid full price for the massage and facial. my friend paid 70 for her massage and facial and I paid 43 for my massage after tax. THEY WOULDNT LET US LEAVE WITHOUT TIPPING AT LEAST $10!...I don't mind tipping for services but don't force me to!! we felt bad and because we had no cash we gave $5 cash. upon leaving we checked our bank accounts and the spa charged the tip to our cards after we left!!!! highway robbery! I saw this in Groupon and tried it out. It is located on the upper part of a chinese restaurant and entrance is on the side. Upon entering hallway doesn't really smell good. But when you get on their salon it looks decent. I had massage and facial. I was expecting to get full body massage but was only given back massage. I was not satisfied and did not feel relax. I have been to other places for massage and this one was a waste of my time and money. Also during the service, masseuse was in and out of the room without excusing herself. She just left me in the room and come back so I was irritated but did not say anything. Facial was good. It started with massage then steam and extraction. After that was mask which made me feel so relax and when it was taken out my skin felt better. After the service i gave my tip and was asked to pay $8 for tax. It was the first time I was asked to pau for tax. And if ever there is tax I should have been asked to pay for it before I had my service. I was not satisfied so I am only giving 1 star. read more

I would randomly try out spas so this so happened to be available when I wanted to make an appointment that day. Very nice, friendly, informative and professional!
