People drive fast here, and the roads are back country type. Not the safest. I was also curious about what rental was like, bc I was thinking about coming back with friends in the spring for hiking. Immediately, a kid comes over and makes it known that I'm unwelcome. I tell her my situation and she leaves. Then before I could even leave (!), an aggressive weirdo on a golf cart, comes over and lets me know that I can't be there for just a minute to get my bearings and leave. "That happens on the public roads," he says. And "we only rent to friends". I don't recommend staying here unless you enjoy a hostile, cult-like "welcome". And if you're a member of the public, bc apparently they don't want you there.

There is plenty of relaxing entertainment - hammocks already set up, horseshoes, playground, pool, and they had live entertainment on the weekend. The campground is nice. Not too large, not too tiny. Has 1 shower house, and 2 sets of restrooms in the main area. Large pool, and it's easy to get places from there. The only downside I found was that for some campsites you have to straddle a ditch when pulling in, so you need to be a bit careful. Definitely recommend!

My wife (who is not much of a camper) couldn't believe how nice and clean everything was. The staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. They have so many activities planned throughout the day. The splash park was a blast. The kids (and adults) loved it. We will absolutely be returning in the future.

There was lack of hospitality and friendliness when checking in. They hand you your keys and it's basically a free for all. No welcome, no "let me show you around" basically a "find it yourself". For Father's Day weekend the Sun Retreats web page posted there would be a welcome gift to all dads. This was not the case, no one knew anything about this which was extremely misleading. The only good thing about this campground was the water park where we spend more of our time. With a 2.5 hr drive and $1000 to rent a camper for the weekend with a golf cart I would never come back here. I'd only come back here If you want to get nickled and dimed by employees who have no clue what is going on half the time.VERY DISAPPOINTING. SAVE YOUR MONEY! ALSO FORGOT TO MENTION. When we booked this campground in February it was a JELLYSTONE PARK. And They never informed us that there was a company change to Sun Retreats. We only realized this a week or two before our arrival in June. If you are looking for a true Jellystone park experience you will not find it here.

We came back at 9:30 pm to find a huge group of people are our campsite and all of our stuff was gone. Of course we were mad so we called the owner "Barry" and instead of helping us, he yelled at us and told us to take the new campsite or leave. I'll be honest I called him a name afterwards which was wrong of me but then he threatened to fight me and to rape my girlfriend. His words "keep it up and I'll bang Your wife" wow is that how you Run a business these days? The guy literally changed at me for calling him a name. What a man-child. We had to pack our campsite up at almost 10pm and leave with nowhere to go and no other campgrounds were open. There are plenty of other bad reviews to justify our discontentment. Do the world a favor and don't support this tyrant.

There is no staff onsite after the main store closes. This was disappointing since there was nobody there to enforce the noise curfew or the amount of people and cars that show up for one camping site. At least I know that the "strict rules" they list on their site are only a suggestion. I would go back again, but only if my camping party was a rowdy bunch. I could not see this place being too kid friendly when it was busy during the summer months.
