This place is a hidden gem.At first I was concerned about the COVID-19 to do the eyelash extensions, they're grand opening and everything is new and clean. They're wearing the mask and gloves during the entire procedure. Yuura(my technician )recommended me 3D eyelash extensions. She did amazing job, she's very soft, I was fall asleep. LOL. I recommend yuura and cici !! Theyre the best ! The first time i came here , it was to get my lashes removed from a ( different studio. ) I booked a last minute appointment and yuura helped me. She removed clumps of glue that the other person ( a different studio ) had applied.. she was the sweetest and very gentle. After removing them , yuura gave me a fresh set. She was super kind and i had no problem whatsoever from here on out. Cici is also amazing ! I book with her all the time now. Shes the sweetest and super gentle and kind !. i highly recommend her , shes super patient and listens to what you want and advices you on how to take care of your lashes. I've been getting extensions on and off for awhile now because...Asian. LOL. I haven't done the research, but I'm pretty sure there are at least a couple dozen other eyelash extension places closer to me. But I'll be making the extra trek here from now on. Why? Because this place (and Cici specifically) actually did what I ASKED FOR! I know; that seems like it should be a given. But it has literally not been the case every other place I have tried. It is like talking to my OG Chinese mom who is pretty sure she knows "what's best". I have never left an EE place feeling happy to have shelled out that much money...until now! :-) I have done this enough to know what I want --a very natural look...I don't even want to look "made up"/like I have mascara on-- I'm not knocking on the more glammed up look I know most others go in for. It's just not me and what I want. Unique Lashes has less curly extensions also (all other places around me only have the C curl as the straightest) and Cici works really fast. Only a week in and half my lashes already fell off. I first started noticing it falling off after only 2 day. Lash cycle, no big deal... now it's just constant! I believe it was Hailey who did my lashes. The remaining lashes are now either clumping together or twisted and constantly poking my eyes so either I have to pull it out of somehow maneuver it so it stays on top of the other lashes. The longest length I have on is 13 and I've never! Had a problem with my lashes being this way... I do expect better results when I come in for a refill. I support small businesses but if this is the type of service I receive, I'm sorry but I won't be giving you any more of my business. Why spend my hard earned money on a service that's not to my satisfaction? This isn't my first time getting lashes. I've been getting my lashes done for years. I stay loyal to my lash tech unless I move to a different city. And only time I've ever had this issue was when the tech wasn't skilled to do lashes. Half my lashes shouldn't be falling out or twisting down!! Another one fell off as I write this review. I understand my lashes have a cycle but clumps of it falling out? That's unacceptable. I don't pull on them, I don't mess with them. I do whatever I can to make sure my extensions stay on as long as they can. But a week?! Come on... at least let me get my money's worth. I'm a generous tipper but if I see results like this... I'm not sure if I want to tip more than I should. I paid for the Groupon coupon but I did pay extra to get the 3D... I really wanted to give this place a chance. I have been getting my lashes done for over 3 years. Typically I go to moon lash beauty but the two girls I go to aren't there anymore so I was on the hunt for a new place. Unique lashes is super cute and trendy. I really wanted to like the place bec the girl I went to was soooo sweet and she got my style perfectly. However, it threw me off guard when she recommended a refill every 2-3 weeks. At my last place they recommended 4-6 weeks so typically I would go at the 3-4 week mark bec who has the time to get their lashes done every 2 weeks? Unique was definitely more strict about waiting 24hrs to get my lashes wet VS moon lash recommended 6hrs so I followed their orders and waited 24hrs every time. Not sure if they are using cheap glue but the lashes were falling off in droves by the end of week 1/start of week 2. I've tried going here 3 times now and I just can't do it. It's so disappointing. Got my eyelashes done today and Yuura was so sweet and kind. She explained everything she was going to do and gave me her recommendations since I was new. I read reviews that said she was rude to clients with Groupon but she was very polite to me. I lost a lot of eyelashes from surgery as a kid and she was so nice and said she tried to add more lashes to even my eyes out.
