First time here! Happy to be in a salon. Getting a much needed pedicure and manicure ( never have had a mani) always had acrylics.. but have had to let them go since the pandemic. Temp taken masks on dividers up seats sanitized felt comfortable. Had an appt taken right away. Everyone was nice. Shop is very small. Manicure was ok. My nails are short but afterwards looking at them they were not filed even. Look a bit ragged still. So ehhh on the mani. Nice pedicure comfy massage chairs. Gal did a nice job overall. I did a basic pedi nothing special. May come back to try again. read more

Unique is the best kept secret in Temecula! I have been coming here for 18 years and have never had a bad experience. It's a family run business that takes great care of their customers. In all the time me and my family have been coming to Unique they have kept up their superb standards; i have never had a break, bleeding or infection. If something goes wrong you just walk back in and they fix it right away; I chipped my polish and they did a quick touch up for me. Julie is the best so if you want something special or extra make sure you ask for her but all of them do a great job. Most have been working there for a long time so you can always get in with the one you like. They take last minute walk ins or short term appointments- i often call the morning of and can get an appointment that day. Their prices are reasonable and they are consistent. My husband gave me a gift certificate here for Christmas and I finally had the chance to use it well here is why I gave this nail place a 1 star- Nail tech cut me with the nail file. And before she started my mani I asked if she was able to do a specific nail look and I referenced her to a photo she said yes, and I trusted her..... never again. I even told her that it wasn't what I wanted. She expected a tip but sorry I'm not going to tip you after you cut me and after you did a horrible job on my mani. Well me and my wife went on 02/13/2020 and I'm ok with the service as I'm just a guy going with my wife ,she had a bad couple experiences in the past but she always forgets and try to be cool and food neighbor bit this time they really need up as she has her nails done and color but as soon as we left next day for Valentine's she grab something and one of her nails just fall off in half, the paint color was coming off like you did just peel it off and she was mad this time We got back from the trip with 2 nails broken and paint coming off in 4 nails. She went in and speak with the owner but as usual she wont admit wrong, unfortunately they never do So they fixed her nails and charge her again full price She paid her and just told her she will never came back again. I don't know what took me so long to come here! This is one of the closet locations to my house and I am in love with the way they did my nails and toes! They stayed pretty busy so I am glad I came early to get pampered. Toes and nails were done to perfection. The lady really took her time and made sure I was satisfied before putting the final coats on. I also went ahead and did my eyebrows and again she did not disappoint! They don't have tip listed on their receipts so make sure to bring cash for tip! read more

I had asked for a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. The lady who did my toes was pleasant and did a very good job taking her time. However, as soon as they gave me the choices for the dip nail colors I knew something was wrong when they only had a selection of about 10 colors... the lady was incredibly harsh on my nails including filing them until they were so thin and burned and even used the drill on my skin to remove the polish she had gotten on my fingers. It took her over an hour to do and after the fact they were incredibly textured and bumpy. Had I not been so eager to leave I would have asked for my money back. So I decided to try this place out, since I had never been before. I didn't want to wait because I had lots of plans to do. The lady was eager to get me and my man in quickly. I was going in for a full set, he wanted a pedicure. I was called up first. I showed them exactly want I wanted from a pic on Pinterest.... It was a oyster little milk type looking color, and on the a couple nails add the glitter and gems. I showed him it all before we even started working on my nails. So proceeded to work, and when it came to add the color, he finally mentions he doesn't have the color and offers pink option which was furthest from what I wanted, and I told him this twice. I tried looking for another color instead, but settled with white. I was very disappointed and didn't understand why he didn't tell me ahead of time he didn't have the color... so I ended up getting no gems or glitter either, cause at this point it wasn't worth it for the look I wasn't getting. By the end of it, my man was just getting started with the pedicure which sucked because the lady knew we didn't want to wait, so I sat there standing the whole time, since there was no room or chairs aka 4 of them. I was showing my man my nails and explaining I was very disappointed with the color and how it looked/finished. If they told me from the beginning they didn't have the color I was looking for, I would of just done Gel french tip with glitter/gems and design, I'm very understanding and flexible has they just spoke up but they didn't.....See pictures for ending look, it's sad... Look at the dent at the top of my nails on the index, middles, thumb. Look at the gaps between the color and top of my nails. Look at the sides, which look terrible. Look at all the left over gel, nail polish and etc, left all over my nails that was never cleaned by them. If you look close enough the color isn't stable all throughout, you can see through the white in certain spots...especially on my thumb and index. Very disappointed. I'm never coming back and wasting my money here... worst place I've ever been to. If I was the owner, I would never let a customer have sloppy nails like this, let alone allowing anyone to walk out unhappy; that was probably the worst part. But obviously they didn't care cause I know they heard that I was unhappy as well as the other customers....Very disappointed, and I don't recommend this place to anyone, don't waste your money, there's plenty of other places in town that do wwwaaaaayyyy better job. I came here for the first time about 3 weeks ago. I really needed to find a new place and decided to try this one. The entire staff was super friendly and I was seen immediately. My acrylics were in need of a fill and Lily did an amazing job. She was thorough, and took her time. my nails came out amazing! I like them short and natural looking and she knew exactly what I wanted. They are not too thick, they are perfect! Today I went back for a fill and a pedicure, my pedicure was amazing and super relaxing! My fill was perfect again too. It is definitely my new nail salon,even if I do have to drive 18 miles to get here, it's completely worth it. Highly recommend coming here. read more

I went to get my acrylics taken off and replaced with gel and I asked to keep AS MUCH LENGTH on my natural nail as possible. When she removed my acrylics it was very painful and my nails started to burn from the constant drilling. Even after all of that I still have bits of acrylic still on my nail. My nails are down to the nub & uneven shaping. She didn't cut my cuticles or anything, didn't talk, so it was just an uncomfortable silence. However I do appreciate that they are working during the pandemic and I understand working under different conditions can make things difficult, but hurting clients? I don't know. read more

I've gone to this place a couple times and each time I've gone I've been nothing but sweet, considerate, and patient. The employees are just plain RUDE. They are aggressive and will not converse with you. They also overcharged me for a full regular set of acrylics... it says $30 on the menu and they charged me $35 and they charged my friend $60 for a pedicure!! Not worth your money, I have come here in the past and left happy. However only 2 nails techs are consistent, the others hit and miss. The last 3 times I've come I've left hating my nails and having them redone, I thought this time because I was getting gel it would be different. No, wrong again, worst nails yet! And when I told her she was forgetting steps she tells me no, it's just stuff on your nails from before?! What stuff?! And it's your job to file and sand them down properly! Her paint job sucked and now I'm stuck with it bc I leave for vacation. My cuticles look a mess and the filing job left my nails uneven. Then she charged me a price that was NoT on their price board ! I'll never be back * as an update I called them , and they did offer to redo or refund. I chose the refund. read more

I called a couple of weeks in advance to see if I could bring my bridal party to all get their nails done (10 girls total!) before the wedding. The staff was very professional and seemed more than happy to accommodate our large group-they even got us started quickly when we arrived a little bit early. Everyone was so kind to us and all of the girls' nails turned out great. literally the worst gel manicure and pedicure i've ever had!! the paint job is completely uneven and patchy, the technician did not do any clean up around my nails. she rushed through the whole thing even though they weren't even closed yet. they close at 7.. it was about 640 and i was the only customer left. 2 other workers were just standing there waiting with keys in their hand waiting for my technician to finish so they could all leave????? she took like 2 seconds to quickly swipe on a shitty layer of paint on each nail and it was all $68. also painted over the cuticles on my toes so it looks horrible. do not come here!! read more

Left feeling confused. 1st, they don't apply a base coat b4 nail polish nor do they wipe the nail dust off b4 any polish application. When I was done she told me $21 at the station. But when I stood up to pay up front the total changed to $28. She ran my card and you can only tip cash. I asked if the tip in included because of the price changing and the man up front said no. I have been going to this spa well over 15 years, Lily, Lee and all women in the spa are wonderful people. Going to their salon this many years should say something about them. If you are Unhappy with something just say something and they will fix any issue right then and there. If you don't like their colors bring in your own. They have very reasonable prices... Nothing worse than hearing people complain when they don't speak up to them to fix or explain products or procedures if in question. i got a gel manicure and they literally are the worst i've ever gotten in my life, i asked for a simple french tip manicure but they're so uneven. my fingernails on each hand look nothing alike, one of my thumbs is thicker than the other. the gel top coat isn't even at all, there's bubbles all throughout my nail. My wife and I have been customers since 2015 and at first the service was great. Since then customer service is continually spiraling down. After reopening they raised their prices which is not the issue BUT the quality of service has also gone down. I paid $100 with tip for a full set and pedicure and my acrylics look like they are two weeks old from the get go. They were chipped/crooked and looked grown out. This is the first time I've ever went back to ask for a re-do and they told me there was nothing wrong with them. Pretty disappointing and I will definitely never go back. read more

My girlfriend came in to get a simple fill and as soon as we walked in there's an employee sneezing and coughing for a majority of the time while working on someone. She was also lied to saying they couldn't do 2 tone nails but the man who did her nails did one of her nails in 2 tone as requested in a picture. Price came out to 80 dollars for a simple fill and was told it was going to be 65 originally. read more
