My car was in need of towing and Jim came to the rescue. Jim was earlier than the scheduled time and was quick to assess the situation. My car is much lower than most cars but Jim was not panicked and was able to safely guide my car up the ramp. We had not one, but two flat tires. One wheel was severely compromised and the first towing company threw up their hands in defeat and could not help us. Luckily, we were referred to Unique Towing who came out in 30 mins and assessed the situation. Instead of accepting defeat, Jim proposed we put a spare on the compromised tire and then load it up. This was a simple solution l, but one no one else had come up with. From there is was easy to load the vehicle up on their truck and have it taken to the service center. Jim was the true hero today. Kept cool and offered up a solution that resolved our issues after many frustrating hours. Now the car is where it needs to be to be fixed and we can still salvage our weekend! Had to get a flatbed to tow my car to a shop from Santa Clara to Redwood City. Driver: Jon #106 was very friendly and was careful with getting my car on to the flatbed. The thing that stood out the most was that he used microfiber towels for the straps to ensure my wheels/rims don't get damaged (it's the little things like this that matter). They have THE MOST amazing team of drivers and office staff who actually get customer service. Dead. My car was dead. In Santa Clara. I live in San Francisco. Found some companies on Yelp and decided to call up Unique. Not was I was expecting at all. The man on the phone was very friendly. Told me they'll deal with the insurance company (I have State Farm's emergency coverage). I hung up the phone then...Snap! They got to me in like 35 minutes. A guy called me to tell me the tow truck was outside. I go outside and the driver had found my car in the full parking lot and was waiting right there. A really nice flat bed truck too! Gave him my insurance card. He towed my car and unloaded it at the mechanic. They totally made being stuck in Santa Clara much less painful. read more

On our way to the park with my 2 boys I took a wrong turn and popped my tire I didn't know what to do I called and my insurance with a message reading a towing person would show up in 60 mins. With my cranky 2 year old in the back crying I was frustrated. Literally 2 minutes after I was notified Unique towing contacted me and arrived in 5 minutes. His name is Ernest and he was verte helpful and kind. As a woman with a car problem it can be intimidating, but he was very respectful and helpful. He tried fixing spare but it didn't work and then he towed my car to a nearby tire place. My problem started at 11am I was on my way to the park with my tire fixed within an hour. Tow truck never arrived even after 2 hrs, when I callback I was told the tow truck driver called me, as I didnot pick the call he cancelled the service. I went to scpd to get my property out of my car. I went to unique to get my property and go to find out they went threw my car and stole my belongings. I confronted them and they said they don't touch anything in the car. They told me to talk to scpd. I called scpd and they said they didn't touch anything either. Shady business. Used Giecko's mobile app to have a truck come out & fix a flat tire on my wife's SUV. First guy is completely lost & claimed to have called my wife (just once btw) to get her exact location. He wasn't able to reach via her cell so he leaves & goes on about his day. Called Giecko & they send out another driver (also from Unique Towing) & he's not able to get the spare tire to release from under the SUV (not Uniques problem & I understand that) so the guy leaves. This is the part that pissed me off. He (driving a service vehicle) just left, didn't call for a tow truck to tow the SUV & he didn't call Giecko to follow up that a tow was needed! He just left. So maybe they have better things to do then provide their customers with any amount of actual service or customer care. So Giecko sent out another tow truck (from a different towing company) & the driver was able to get the spare tire off, but not these idiots at Unique Towing (big thumbs up guys, Fing amazing job!) read more

My car didn't start and the key wasn't working. I had to call my roadside service and they send the towing company to pick up the car. The guy name Jim came less than 30 minutes. He is very nice and kind. We greeted each others and before he started towing my car I told him a short story about how my car was and what had I done with it. He then sensed it and told me he would try to jumpstart. Very fortunate, the car start to work again but not because of the jumpstart but Jim found out about the battery cable was not tightened enough to make the car start. I'm so thankful he found out about it and I didn't have to bring it to the service center. You need this company! read more

They were actually at my car within minutes :) driver was great and ended up jump starting the car to avoid a tow. *If I could give a zero I would * *28 hours at the tow yard will get you a $448 tow bill. *Tow was 0.8 miles * They would not even settle bill until we had a tow truck there because they said it was NOT drivable . While all it needed was to have the spare tire put on. * All money is NOT good here - we had half cash and half credit card and they would NOT let us to split the payment . *After we settled bill and had another tow company there ( See 5 Star review for Campbell's Tow) Unique drug the truck by fork lift from their back lot into the middle of the street.
