Highly Recommend - Excellent Experience!…read more I came in looking for a very specific vehicle, and the team at the dealership absolutely delivered. Marcos Mancenido and Johnny Briseno went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. They provided a great experience from start to finish and put together an outstanding deal. The financing process was smooth and straightforward with zero added sales pressure , just honest, straightforward help. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone. When it's time for my next vehicle, I'll be first in line to work with Marcos and Johnny again! Thank you both for making car buying actually enjoyable!

The vehicle I purchased appeared to have been reconditioned for sale, but shortly after taking ownership, I discovered several issues that raised concerns about the quality of the repairs and overall preparation of the vehicles paint. One of the most noticeable problems was paint chipping on the door edges that became apparent shortly after the purchase. I also noticed PPF edge guards installed in the affected areas. Based on what I observed, it appeared that the edge guards may have concealed or drawn attention away from the paint condition, which left me feeling that the cosmetic issues were not fully apparent at the time of sale. Had I known the extent of the paint chipping beforehand, it would have influenced my purchasing decision. In addition to the paint concerns, the dealer try's to sell you BS aftermarket addons like KARR that are just a money grab and have no real value. When you try to have them remove the BS and stick to the price online, they give you the runaround until you finally get them to remove it. As a customer, I expected a dealership to ensure that a used vehicle met reasonable quality standards before being offered for sale. Unfortunately, my experience left me questioning the thoroughness of the reconditioning process and the level of quality control applied to used inventory. I strongly encourage anyone considering a used vehicle from this dealership to perform a thorough inspection and obtain an independent mechanical and cosmetic evaluation before purchasing. Once they have your money good luck getting any service from them to help fix any problems.

I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from California Motor Trade to do…read moreextensive due diligence before signing anything. I purchased a used Audi A6 from this dealer after expressing specific concerns about the vehicle's mechanical history. I was reassured in writing that it was a "very clean example," was told the dealership performs a rigorous inspection, and was offered a service contract for additional peace of mind. Those representations played a significant role in my decision to move forward with the purchase. Approximately 47 miles after leaving the dealership, the vehicle suffered a major transmission failure and became essentially inoperable, leaving my family stranded late at night. An Audi dealership subsequently diagnosed a failed internal hydraulic pressure component, transmission leakage, and recommended replacement of the transmission at a cost exceeding $20,000. There were also other issues with the transaction that have added to my concerns. The temporary registration provided to me contained incorrect vehicle information, and the service contract I purchased was still showing as pending when the Audi dealer attempted to submit a claim. After the breakdown, California Motor Trade contacted me and expressed a willingness to help and "make it right." I provided the diagnosis and supporting information, but since then I have not received a substantive resolution despite my follow-up attempts. I am currently pursuing the remedies available to me, so I am intentionally limiting this review to my firsthand experience and documented facts. I will update this review if California Motor Trade resolves the matter appropriately. Based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend this dealership.

They gave me the $22,000 they told me online and there was no games after they looked at my car…read more That is the only reason I am giving two stars. The rest of the trip was a headache because of my car registration. My renewal was due Sunday 8/2 and I sold the car Monday 8/3. The DMV lets you pay on the next business day when the due date is on a weekend so there is no penalty. I called CarMax and told them about this. The person on the phone said a manager approved it and put a note in my system file. But when I was at the Norco store they did not care what the phone person told me. We argued and they pretty much accused me of lying about my registration. The DMV notice says due date, not expiration. I read those as two different things. The store insisted the due date was the expiration and acted like I made something up. It is pretty bad to question a customer's honesty over confusing DMV wording instead of just clearing it up. Then they made me pay the $337 annual renewal out of pocket before they would buy my car. They gave me a lecture about ethics saying they can not pass that cost to the next buyer. But do the math. I paid for a full 12 months of registration and the car goes on their lot with paid tags, so the next buyer gets that benefit. CarMax did not give me any extra money on my payout for it. That's just CarMax getting a $337 asset for free while hiding behind ethical condescending language. The price was good and the inspection was fine but the communication was really bad. If the phone rep says one thing the store needs to honor it, and they should skip the moral lecture while they take your money.

Trying to find a reliable, nice and affordable car for my son…read more This car was advertised at $8,695 so out the door should be about $9,800. When we decided to talk numbers all this sudden it was told to me the car was $9,950.. I said no wait the car is $8695 and I proceeded to show the image of the car on these site. Tony got louder and more intense tone saying something that made no sense and then said "look I'm not going to go back and forth with you on numbers" Still being interested and I don't like to argue I sat silent. Then AFTER running my credit which I NEVER approved of!!! They presented me with numbers. A random KBB page (not official) because we ran the car too and it didn't line up with his page here. Also, being concerned with the random $1,999 fee with no explanation I asked. Turns out it's the "protective tape" Placed along the door edges and behind where the door handle is. This has a "lifetime" warranty and there because those areas get "scratched" more often. For $2k?!? No, no thank you! I bet you it cost them maybe $25. I don't care I don't want to spend $2k on that. Then... once going to my bank and getting all the details knowing we are about to be squeezed for $3k for nothing - Tony calls me and wants to now be put on the phone with my bank to argue the value of the car to be what he states and not what kBB actually shows.
