I am 6'2" and I have to press into the seat to fit.

I have not been on an aircraft with less leg room that their 737 800/900. Can you please get rid of the check bag fees so that passengers stop bringing a large roller bag, backpack and a purse on? Doesn't the loading and unloading of an aircraft have any impact on your revenue? Take a row out and give an inch. Maybe incentivize gate check? Some would gladly take it for a few hundred miles. Big safety miss. These two passengers never put their bags under their seats. I feel for the flight crew. You get passengers pretty pisses and they get to deal with it. They are troopers. We all have choices I guess.

Thank you United Flight Crew #1158!

Worst airline EVER !!…read more Me and 3 others were supposed to fly out of New Orleans march 16th at 5:10am .. We got there at 2am ... they didn't open their ticket counter / baggage counter till 3:45am Not only that but they admitted they were short staffed and had all 5 lines converge into a single line in the middle which made it take 3x longer to get our bags dropped and get to TSA . Also I had pre requested wheel chair help because I was injured and couldn't walk at the time . The clerk at the counter told me . And this is an exact quote " sorry where short staffed today , we have too many call out s , your gonna have to deal with it your self " which they legally have to provide wheel chair assistance .. Well long story short we didn't get to the ticket counter because of their short staffing till right before 5am ... then through tsa and the flight had already taken off .. Their best option was to rebook us on another flight. The next day in the afternoon and we wouldn't arrive till almost midnight ... over 32 hours AFTER we were supposed to already be there ... this would leave just 1 full day for our small vacation so we said no thank you .. give us our refund because that is not acceptable .. But it was their short staffing that caused this issue in the first place . So I emailed them and requested they cover the cost of our non refundable Airbnb because this was caused by what the even consider Controllable issues . They could have atleast offered what they give to those who need to be bumped to another flight considering this was their fault . Which is $2150 per person . But they basically told us to deal with it and accept that they ain't doing jack sh*t for us , they are the absolute worst Not to mention the wheelchair assistance issue . My suggestion is to NEVER fly Southwest Airlines,.. they are terrible and have garbage customer service !!!!

In reality, nothing has been done. No updates. No refund. No resolution. Just a constant runaround. This is exactly why your ratings are low and why customers are walking away -- you stop valuing people the moment you take their money. Remember, you're a customer somewhere too. Ask yourself how you would feel if your concerns were ignored and brushed aside like this. Let this be a warning to future travelers, especially those with disabilities: do not spend your money with this airline. They will take your payment, send automated emails pretending they're addressing your issue, then try to pacify you with a $15 credit toward your "next experience" -- essentially inviting you to be mistreated and overcharged all over again.

As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. Unfortunately, this American Airlines experience fell short of expectations. I paid an extra **$140** for seats that appeared to offer a better arrangement during the booking process. However, after my wife and I boarded the aircraft, we realized the seating layout differed from what had been displayed at purchase. Paying additional fees only to encounter an uncomfortable seating situation was disappointing. My assigned seat, **6K**, lacked adequate cushioning, making the journey more uncomfortable than expected. I relied on extra pillows and blankets for lower back support throughout much of the flight. On longer trips, seat comfort can make a significant difference in the overall passenger experience. The customer service process proved equally frustrating. I first contacted an agent in Detroit seeking clarification regarding my flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Chicago, where I was informed they could not assist and was given yet another number to call. That representative ultimately redirected me back to the original Detroit contact. Only after several calls and repeated explanations did an agent finally provide the information I had requested from the start. After boarding, I found the aircraft itself attractive and well-maintained, and most of the flight attendants appeared hardworking and professional despite managing a busy cabin. However, the overall environment deteriorated as the flight progressed. A number of passengers were noisy and inconsiderate, and the lavatories became increasingly untidy within a few hours, with wet floors and sinks requiring attention. Although the cabin crew deserved recognition for their efforts and professionalism, the inconsistent customer service, uncomfortable seating experience, and declining cleanliness ultimately overshadowed the positives. Based on this experience, I would strongly compare alternatives before booking American Airlines for a similar trip in the Future. We unfortunately arrived very late and all the food, bars and eateries were closed, but walking through the facility even as late as 10:00 p.m. was refreshing and a beautiful sight to behold. It is very artistic: MSY is bright, open, airy, beautifully decorated and a pleasure to walk through observing the art. All of the welcoming signs to NOLA. Clean. Everything was clean upon our late arrival. The restrooms where I found myself ducking into after our arrival to change an infant was clear, clean and free of any and all signs of trash. Extremely easy to navigate to baggage claim, parking garages, rideshare/Uber/Lift are all easy to get to. Rideshare pickup is right outside of baggage claim just for the record...no traveling across the hallways to find the appropriate exit door for your contact. Signage is WONDERFUL! After a long delay of waiting at one airport to arrive to MSY it was a welcoming feeling to not have to deal with another disruption in our travel with trying to find the exit for transportation to our hotel. The door was easy to find, service/pick-up island was right there, and we were excited to have a ride within 3 minutes of requesting, once we stepped out of those doors. Our experience was fantastic. Let me say again, MSY is a very artistic airport! It's bright, open, airy, beautifully and cheerfully decorated for sure.
