    I heard mix reviews about this airline. But I thought "hey, can't be any worse than Spirit" Right? Wrong. When we got to our gate, we were surprised that they weren't boarding yet, so they were already a little off schedule. An hour later, the screen at the gate was blank for the longest time and none of the workers were present. Another hour passes and one lady comes over to tell us that the flight had been cancelled. Then they tell us that they can either get a refund or book another flight with them... but not both. I ended up having to spend over $1000 on tickets from a different airline. Should've just went on a more expensive airline in the first place... I would've actually saved more money!! Long story short: if you wanna travel, you gotta have money. If you don't have money, don't travel by plane.

    I've Heard a lot of negative reviews about frontier airlines. This past weekend was my first flight on frontier. I flew from New Orleans to Orlando to attend a funeral and had absolutely no problems with this airline. Smooth successful trip with no hiccups and the airplane seats weren't as cramped as I was led to believe. Maybe for a longer flight it would've been a little uncomfortable, but for an Hour and 45 minute flight there's nothing I can complain about. 4 out of 5 Stars.....

    This is the most disgusting airline out there and I say that becauae of the way I was treated after I had been beaten while in the city I was visiting I booked an emergency flight home..I arrived at the airport 14 hours b4 my flight with two black eyes a broken cheek and explained that I had six dollars left to my name and in the rush to book the flight I didnt read about the baggage.. I was told to leave all my things by the trash can I could not take them with me, my mother offered her cc over the phone they refused and I was forced to leave some thing I can't replace behind. I'm so sad about my things, I thought unwas moving there to live with the love of my life and I was beaten and forced to leave my things.. Your a cold disgusting group

    Four stars for a low budget airline? You must be thinking that I am crazy. Just hear me out. Considering what I paid for last minute airfare, the customer service at this Frontier was awesome. I realize that this YELP listing is simply for the location at the Louis Armstrong airport. Yes, I had to pay to check my bag. But the speed of the line was awesome! The friendliness at the gate was well appreciated. Remember everyone, you get what you paid for. If you want first class service, you have to actually fork out the money for it.

    Worst airline EVER !!…read more Me and 3 others were supposed to fly out of New Orleans march 16th at 5:10am .. We got there at 2am ... they didn't open their ticket counter / baggage counter till 3:45am Not only that but they admitted they were short staffed and had all 5 lines converge into a single line in the middle which made it take 3x longer to get our bags dropped and get to TSA . Also I had pre requested wheel chair help because I was injured and couldn't walk at the time . The clerk at the counter told me . And this is an exact quote " sorry where short staffed today , we have too many call out s , your gonna have to deal with it your self " which they legally have to provide wheel chair assistance .. Well long story short we didn't get to the ticket counter because of their short staffing till right before 5am ... then through tsa and the flight had already taken off .. Their best option was to rebook us on another flight. The next day in the afternoon and we wouldn't arrive till almost midnight ... over 32 hours AFTER we were supposed to already be there ... this would leave just 1 full day for our small vacation so we said no thank you .. give us our refund because that is not acceptable .. But it was their short staffing that caused this issue in the first place . So I emailed them and requested they cover the cost of our non refundable Airbnb because this was caused by what the even consider Controllable issues . They could have atleast offered what they give to those who need to be bumped to another flight considering this was their fault . Which is $2150 per person . But they basically told us to deal with it and accept that they ain't doing jack sh*t for us , they are the absolute worst Not to mention the wheelchair assistance issue . My suggestion is to NEVER fly Southwest Airlines,.. they are terrible and have garbage customer service !!!!

Personally I vowed I'd never give them more than 1 star after they cancelled a trip on us last year and refused to give us a refund and I only got our $$ back by playing hard ball through our credit card company. On a later trip, Spirit double charged me due to an issue with one of their airport kiosks and again, I had to fight for them to make it right. On this particular trip, everything went fine. Flights took off and landed on schedule, staff were friendly and when I made a minor mistake and realized it shortly after I'd booked this trip, I called Spirit and after being on hold for a while, they were actually helpful and accommodating, which was a welcome change. Maybe they've had a bit of an attitude adjustment?

    There must be a reason why travelers voted MSY #1…read more 1) Security: The security checkpoint is big but easy to get in and out. The lines move fast and usually I get through security in under 10 minutes. 2) Flight delays/cancellations: Compared to most other airports, MSY does a great job at keeping things on schedule. 3) Easily navigated. Three concourses are right there past securty checkpoint so you will never get lost or confused at MSY. Baggage claim, parking garages, and ticket counters are all easy to get to from anywhere in the airport. 4) Lots of food options and local shops to choose from if you want to spend money. Cafe Du Monde is there! 5) Cleanliness: Always someone cleaning and/or picking up what lazy customers drop and don't pick up. Everything here looks clean, I mean, really clean. The ladies restrooms, clean. I even felt safe changing my baby on the changing table in the bathroom. 6) Catch an Uber/Lyft or any share ride right outside the door. I have a favorite there, too. He helped us load and unload all of our items on our trip to our resort. We had a very pleasant and wonderful visit to NOLA for the week we spent there.
