My favorite United club sans Polaris. Carla the bar tender was super friendly and on the orders. Food options were tasty and fresh. Plenty of seating despite smaller club size.

Not the biggest Club in the United network, but it's way better than waiting for the plane out in the noisy terminal. No bathrooms, but they have all the other stuff that I've come to expect - pre-wrapped cheese, crackers, yogurt raisins and if you're lucky, Milano cookies. Plus free booze. It's between B3 and B5.

Better than waiting at the terminal! Nice small Club but no bathrooms. Plenty of outlets to charge your devices and very clean. Everyone was friendly but not up to par with many other United Clubs at other airports. Even with that being said, I would rather be sitting in here that out there in the terminals. Like a private oasis!

It's a nice place to relax before your trip. It's a nice perk to have. Recommend that you come, especially if you have a long trip.

Every bit of our…read moreexperience at Anacacho was wonderful, from the quick, very friendly waitress, to the fabulous food, everything was wonderful. Our waitress was lovely. She was so friendly and did not miss a beat. Another waitress came at one point to fill our waters, she noticed it, and she complimented the other waitress and thanked her. To me, that is teamwork, and I love that vibe. The tables are smaller with some longer ones in the back, so we were barely able to fit 3 dishes on it, but the dishes are smaller but pack so much flavor and joy. We got the Big Red Barbacoa tacos, grilled skewers, and the Pork Belly tacos. With each bite I understood more and more why it was a James Beard semifinalist for best new restaurant this year. $9 a taco? Yes. And I would pay it again without hesitation. We enjoyed the pork belly taco the most, and what I loved is that we weren't chewing into a fat cap. This pork belly was tender, moist, perfectly seasoned and the slaw was perfect to cut through the rich pork belly. The Barbacoa tacos were also very good To Barbacoa tacos were filled to the brim with Barbacoa, and I loved the slight sweetness from the Big Red in the tortilla. I needed that pickled radish and the salty cheese to balance the meat, and it was delicious down to the last bite. The grilled skewers were also very good, especially the Wagyu, and I just loved how simple yet perfectly balanced the sauces were and how they complimented the meats without overpowering them. I honestly like the chicken more than the pork belly, but my kiddo ate that pork belly so fast I barely got to eat one! Perfectly crispy, not greasy, just a great end to our meal. We also got the Daylight cocktail which was such a refreshing cocktail during the day, tart and crisp and simple. I could drink that cocktail all day everyday! And the espresso martini looked divine, but I just couldn't have caffeine this late in the day. Anacacho was so good that we are heading over there now to grab some breakfast and coffee. Their corn tortillas were thick and strong and carried the weight of the inside of the taco nicely, and they have breakfast tacos that are calling our name along with some gluten free pastries too! The waitress was very well versed in gluten allergy concerns, and they also have a GF modified French Toast...yes please! Anacacho is a perfect place for some small bites, cocktails, and delicious food. The 3 dishes we got were PLENTY for all 3 of us to share and kept us full for hours. What an excellent experience! We cannot wait to come back!

I ordered a vanilla coffee and it was delicious really, really good. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming which made the experience even better. I also tried the chicken tostada and it was soooo good. It was packed with chicken and a variety of toppings that all complemented each other really well. Even the side salad was fresh and flavorful. The ambience is amazing it feels like a more elevated café and cantina with a western twist. Overall, I really enjoyed the food, drinks and service. Definitely a great spot to check out if you're visiting or just exploring downtown.

Update to first review below, rating updated from a 3 to a 5 star (drinks & bartender would get 10+…read morestars if we could rate that high): Saturday night: Went back for after dinner drinks at the Downstairs (a "speakeasy" throwback, look up the history of the place to see why). Drinks were AMAZING! Bartender Rob made the best Negroni I've ever had. I asked him to use whatever gin he thought best--result was an artistic smooooooth full-bodied drink. Told him when I was done I'd lick the glass if it wasn't considered so uncouth for a 'mature' lady like myself to do so Hubby's Buffalo Trace bourbon old fashioned was also outstanding. Rob was the bartender last night who did such a great job, and his work was even better tonight. We highly recommend The EsquireTavern for excellent cocktails. We love the long wood bar and high copper ceiling upstairs, but love the intimate speakeasy atmosphere downstairs even more. We'll definitely be back every time we're in San Antonio! First review, Friday night: Drinks were great (Manhattan and Bourbon Old Fashioned). REAL drinks, no complaints at all about those. And the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Those aspects of the Esquire get 5+ stars from us. But the appetizers were not good, close to inedible. It was about 8:30pm or so, so maybe they were getting ready to close out the kitchen but the chalupitas with chicken tasted like rubber, and no flavor at all. The seafood platter had something in it that was breading with shell inside, but no meat of any kind. We couldn't figure out what it was supposed to be. The shrimp was good and the fish was good but those other things... We'll always love the drinks, the long wooden bar, and the ambiance at the Esquire Tavern, but we'll eat somewhere else and come here for before or after dinner drinks. (See update above to this review for when we returned the next night for after dinner drinks.)

It was a very busy day, full of traffic so we arrived a few minutes past our initial reservation (they give a 15 minutes grace period). I was relieved that Valet was included when you dine here so that took a lot of the headache of finding parking in downtown San Antonio. Service and Food: Our service and the food was swift and taken with great care. Our server was fantastic and really did a great job helping us figure out what to order for someone who was dining here for the first time. Our waiter even recommended my father who is peculiar about his steak (liked it rare, but the outside to be crispy) to order his steak Pittsburg Style which he ended up loving. My waiter was even kind enough to hand craft me my own Sangria when I noticed it wasn't on the menu. The food was absolutely amazing but overall I think our waiters great service really made our evening enjoyable. Im unsure if this was intentional but we noticed the staff was always considerate in making sure the ladies orders were taken first and served first before the men. It was a thoughtful gesture which was appreciated. Additionally the manager checked on each guest which was also nice to see. Overall, it was nice to see my family enjoy their dinner together. I would recommend Ruths to anyone who wants to celebrate a special occasion or just have a nice evening out in downtown San Antonio.

Morrissey hadn't graced San Antonio in over 10 years, with past cancellations and postponements haunting fans along the way. So when he finally returned, San Antonio Moz fans showed up and showed out. Despite multiple after-party options across the city, fans from Brazil, the UK, Canada, Japan, and all across the U.S. chose Bang Bang Bar as the place to be on a cold Saturday night. Hosted by local emcee Ricardo Moz and Apollo DJ, the night turned into one for the history books. Bang Bang Bar is easily one of Texas' best dive-lounge bars...the perfect blend of gritty and cozy. Great cocktail program, solid beer selection, and a vibe that just works. The décor leans heavy into a 1950s-60s lounge aesthetic, with intimate spaces like the Blue Room and Yellow Room, perfect for groups of 7-10. Low lighting, warm atmosphere, and zero pretension exactly what you want for a night like this. Bang Bang Bar consistently supports local and touring acts, spanning punk, alternative, and DJ-driven nights, and this Moz Smiths Disco was no exception. It was wall-to-wall classics all night long. Major credit to Phanie and the Bang Bang Bar management they rolled up their sleeves, brought in extra bar staff, and handled an overwhelming crowd like pros. Fans waited up to 45 minutes in the cold, with a line wrapping around the building, and the energy inside never dipped. As the host of Panic On The Streets, I'm incredibly thankful to Bang Bang Bar for helping us pull off one of the best after-parties we've done in years. Fittingly, 2026 marks the 10-year anniversary of both Bang Bang Bar and Panic On The Streets of San Antonio and what a way to celebrate. Bang Bang Bar has long been one of my favorite bars in town, and after this night, that reputation is more than earned.
