We got breakfast from Naco Grayson. I ordered a bean and cheese taco on corn and it was so good, I wish I had gone back and ordered another one. They put a layer of crusted cheese on the tortilla and slather on the beans and then put another layer of cheese on top. My friend ordered the concha french toast and he said it was delicious. It looked amazing! The chilaquiles here are also very tasty. Drippy's coffee is at this space and it's one of my favorite coffee trucks in SA. The owners are incredibly nice, welcoming, and warm. They really make you feel like old pals. I ordered a hot mocha latte and it was the perfect complement to my breakfast taco. We were also able to do a bit of shopping at Bexar Goods here and my husband bought a typewriter - so cool! I'm so glad SA Yacht Club opened near me! I hope to take more friends here soon! I do wish they had more umbrella coverage for that hot summer sun, but we went pretty early on a cloudy day, so not too bad, but I imagine it could become unbearable on a sunny day. There is a side street that you can park up and along the way as well just be sure to leave any driveways open as trucks and other vendors gotta get in and park too/unload. Inside it is super spacious! We came in on a Sunday when the Cowboys were playing during the day and there must have been at least 50+ people inside watching on the large big screens and cheering the 'Boys on. Plenty of high table tops and plenty of seating for you to hang with you and your crew inside. Outside was a whole other world! There was corn hole, oversized Jenga blocks, and tables and shade. All of the seating and tables were super sturdy and brightly colored too! I love that I saw a lot of smaller kids running around, playing games, and overall enjoying the outside atmosphere. Lots of good gravel and grass to help pave your way to your seat or table of choice. When we were here there were at least 4 vendors selling food from hamburgers to BBQ. I really loved that we had several options for food and didn't have to go far. From what I understand from the family, who are regulars, there is always at least 1 vendor selling food on any given day or night. Drinks and service was amazing! The beer specials were especially nice for me and my wallet. I also loved that Brooster's has their own specialty cocktails or mixed drinks they promote on their colorful dry erase boards. We tried their Broosters Backyard Punch that was less than $3! It was delicious. Be sure to ask the nice friendly bartenders what they recommend and what is on special! They are reliable and legit recommendations too! Excited to come back thru in December for the next market and enjoy some more punch under the afternoon sun at Brooster's. Right off the bat, you get this very cool dive bar feel. And when you walk inside that vibe is definitely cemented. It is definitely one of those places you would want to go and hang out with your friends. Have a drink, maybe shoot a game of pool or just hang it out. On Friday and Saturday nights I guess it's ladies night, and from what I am told this place is usually packed with the fairer sex. So if you are single and in San Antonio this is the place you want to go mingle. I have a full bar so don't feel like you have to settle for just beer, I have heard their margaritas are top knotch, and they usually have a food truck outside in case you get a case of the munchies. Out back is a great seating area when weather permits, and they also have a stage and a live band playing on the weekends. Plus they have vendors out there so it almost has more of a country fair atmosphere. Bottom line? I will definitely be hanging out at this place whenever I am in the San Antonio area. And then we met Ivy. Ivy is just about the greatest bartender a wandering tourist could ask for. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time sipping brews and chatting about life with the pre-eminent steward of Blue Star @ North Star. If you have to be at a mall food court, why not come to the best bar kiosk in a mall food court imaginable? Enjoy an IPA, people watch, and maybe consider dipping into the LEGO store.

Blue Star Brewing main location is originally in Southtown/Blue Star area and they serve both beer and food. This new location serves mainly beer and a few other alcoholic beverages like wine and frozen margaritas. The girl working the bar was super nice and very helpful. She mentioned she was nice and still learning all the beers, but you wouldn't be able to tell since she was so knowledgeable. Also, if you buy a beer from Blue Star Brewing please note that you can walk around the mall with your drink and don't have to stay near their bar. Highly recommend checking out this amazing local brewery whenever you go to North Star Mall!
