They had a nice deal on leg quarters at the time. It was $10 for 10 lbs, which was a lot of meat! They had whole chickens available. You could choose between a 3 pound chicken or 5 lbs. The key here is they're normal size chickens because they don't have added hormones. They also sell chicken Italian sausage, chicken gizzards, whole duck, and more in the freezer section. There were a few beef options and it was the real color of beef...because there's nothing added to give it that false red color. I forgot to inquire about turkey products while I was there. I will definitely visit again.

Pantry staples: Canned goods, pasta, and baking supplies are a fraction of the cost. My grocery bill has gone down significantly since I made the switch, and the quality is spot on. The one downside: I have to be real about the produce section, specifically the fruit. It's usually pretty hit-or-miss (mostly miss). The berries tend to go bad quickly, and I've had bad luck with apples being mealy. I usually grab my fruit elsewhere. The Verdict: If you just avoid the fruit section, this is easily a 5-star store.
