I went in for a face waxing appointment, and the esthetician repeatedly waxed the same area, which burned my skin and left visible marks on my face. Let me start by saying I did enjoy the pedicure. Everything else was sub par at best. It was from the start an impersonal visit. I felt very in the way & rushed. The woman who did my nails, while I could tell did her best was just not very good.. my nails are not smooth, the shellac is clumpy and see through in areas, She stung my fingers with product & with LOTS of guidance got my shape.. kind of okay? I've had my lash extensions done by Ivy for over a year now. I absolutely love the work and precision put into my lashes. I usually get my lashes refilled every 2 to 3 weeks and it usually stays on very well! I took my 13 year old daughter her today with her friend for manicures. One ordered a gel manicure the other a dip manicure. My daughters friend had a good experience with the gel, but then my daughters experience was terrible. The nail tech didn't even clip her cuticles and she over-filed her nails to the point that her finger tips are in pain and super red. Then after applying the dip she didn't finish it off with a Gel top coat and LED light...so I doubt that it will stay on as long as it should. My daughter gets manicures frequently so this wasn't her first time and not sure what to expect. The dip was just done poorly as well. Awful service for her. I went in to get a full set of eyelashes a couple of weeks ago. Walked out loving them. But after a few hours my eyes became incredibly itchy and they got worse over night. I woke up to my eyelids swollen on top of being unbelievably itchy. I called to see if it was an allergic reaction and all I was told was to get some allergy eye drops and it would go away. It got worse through the next day. Went in to Deka Lash to have them looked at and was told that they were applied RIGHT against the lash line (which they are not supposed to be) and some even appeared to be glued onto the skin. I've been going to Rose ever since- she's amazing! She really takes care of me and makes sure I'm happy every time I leave. Rose is a perfectionist and has a great attention to detail. If I break a nail, she'll put acrylic on it so it matches the other nails. She's even saved my big toe nails when she they fell off! When I got married on the east coast, I made sure to see Rose before I flew out, because I don't trust anyone else with my nails. United Nails has tons of consistent clients for a reason. I tried this a second time because I had a coupon and I did dip nails, pedicure and lashes. My nails look horrendous and I called and asked them to redo them. They made me an appointment and I drove across town for them to be redone. I arrived early. I was ignored until another customer came in and then I was told that the dip nails from United Nails lifts on the edges and has bubbles. read more

They did a thorough cleaning to reopen after COVID and I feel very safe. All the staff is very friendly to their customers and you can tell they have a lot of repeat business. Let me start by saying how much I LOVED this salon. Loved going to get my lash refills every 3 weeks. It was quick, cheap, and they were beautiful. Recently, they have gotten so busy they are overbooking and cramming in more appointments. They also recently switched lash product (to something cheaper, obviously) I am super disappointed to have to write this review, but these are my lashes 11 days post fill. Less than 40% remain in less than 2 weeks. I had to pay for a full set elsewhere- which as my lash ladies know, isn't cheap. I have had lashes for awhile and am aware of how to take care of them so they do last. I have not changed anything in my routine, so I know it is due to the adhesive or lash. I was there yesterday with a friend for a mani/pedi. The service was awful and I ended up with chemical burns on both of my feet. The offered me $5 off. As the pain got worse throughout the day, and my manicure never dried because the polish was so thick, I called and requested a refund. They told me no manage, call Monday. After insisting they told me I wold have to come back. So I drove another 7 mikes back to their store and was given a refund. They removed the destroyed nail polish while I stood in front of the register and never offered to redo the polish correctly. The burns on my feet are so bad they are still painful a day later. Will likely need medical treatment. I plan to contact the manager today and enlighten them about my experience. A lawyer might be next. read more
