As the party was Sunday evening, we couldn't make it back to the store until today, the following Saturday. I had the receipt, original payment method and a package of cracked cups. I was met with a snarky attitude from that manager I assume. She asked why I didn't return ALL of them or immediately. Well, I work during the week so I couldn't get right back and I didn't return the used one either. I ended up getting my refund of $7.99, but not without a bit of a back and forth. When I entered the store, the Halloween decor was amazing. I went straight to the isle where the mask was located. A very nice store employee gave me feedback, and input on the various masks, she even tried on the mask to give me an idea of how it will look. I was extremely appreciative, and pleased, such a very nice young lady. There was a bit of a wait to pay, but I did not mind. I knew going during the month of October, and on a weekend, I could expect a wait. Despite the store being super busy, it was not a bad experience. I placed the order 6 weeks in advance in an effort to avoid issues as I had an issue with the large balloon order I placed at the Clark, NJ store in March. In this case, I ordered (2) Jurassic Park balloon bouquets (@ $26 each) and 3 dozen latex balloons. My delivery time was between1pm-3 pm (my party started at 3 pm). Both balloon bouquets arrived at 2:40 pm, the giant dinosaur balloon had a hole in at. I called the store spoke with the manager and he sent THE ONE DINOSAUR BALLOON VIA DELIVERY. When I called back after 3 pm regarding the 3 dozen latex balloons I was told that they had been picked up by a driver. The balloons NEVER ARRIVED. Imagine a 3 year old party with no balloons. I never used to order balloons (for pick up or delivery) from the Clark, NJ location because they are the worst. I was forced to do so my last 2 events because the Woodbridge, NJ Party City closed October 2023. I was able to get a refund for the balloons that were never delivered but that was little consolation as there were no balloon decorations at my grandson's party. Clark, NJ Party is AWFUL!!!!!!! This is the location that should have closed, not Woodbridge, NJ. I put together 10-15 birthday/holiday events a year (so I spend a pretty penny at Party City) and this store is AWFUL.
