At the time of sale, Big Tex staff knew I was operating commercially and for hire, yet did not clearly explain what derating the trailer would mean in practical terms -- specifically how much it would severely limit usable payload, despite the trailer being physically capable of more. As a business owner, I relied on the dealership's expertise to explain the implications of the product they were selling. After realizing the impact this has had on my operations, I reached out multiple times by email seeking guidance or a solution. I was eventually told the trailer could not be re-rated, leaving me stuck with equipment that does not meet my business needs -- something that could have been avoided with full transparency at the time of purchase. I'm not accusing Big Tex of doing anything illegal, but I do believe they failed to properly inform a commercial customer about the real-world consequences of buying a derated trailer. This has caused unnecessary financial and operational hardship for my business. I strongly recommend that other business owners ask very detailed questions and get everything in writing before purchasing a derated trailer from this location.

However, in this case I feel compelled to let people know the terrible customer service I received From Coronado Stone. I'm sure they normally deal with bigger jobs, but I would expect them to treat all customers the same. My mom paid $3,300 for material to Coronado stone, so it wasn't a terribly little job either. The sales rep, Alicia, seemed nice enough and helped us place the order. We were told it would take 6 weeks and later they gave us the delivery date. We set up for our contractor to be there that morning and start the job, no rock was delivered. I called later that day and they couldn't even find my mom in their system. I had to send them a copy of my contract, mind you the job was prepaid. After talking to a few reps the order was finally put through. Then when the order finally arrived, the amount on the wall cap was off by 47 pieces. They wanted to charge me another delivery fee for their mistake. Thank goodness I saved all of my emails with Alicia which proved that I gave the correct measurements and she put in the wrong amount for the order. When I sent them the emails they took off the delivery fee for the mistake they made. But the contractor had to come back again, at my moms expense. The final disappointment came when I called them to come pick up the 6 large crates. Alicia told me they would be picked up by the company at a decreased return rate of $3.50 each rather then $7, if we brought them back ourselves. She showed me on the contract we signed where it states the same thing. Now I'm calling to have them picked up and they told me it is not their policy unless they are doing another job for us, which is ridiculous because this is a single residence and it's obvious we wouldn't be needing them for another stone delivery and it doesn't say that on the contract. Some how I was just supposed to know this little piece of information even thought it doesn't say that anywhere and I wasn't told that either. If you are a big company this might be the right place for you since they might value your repeat business and honor what they claim they will do. But if you are doing a home improvement for your own home I strongly urge you to use another company. 3 issues in one small job. No skin off there back but it was a pain to deal with all there errors, not to mention the extra money it cost us. And now I have to figure out how to get rid of 6 large wooden crates because they won't honor what the rep told me at the beginning and what's clearly on the contract we signed. DONT USE THEM!
