Call 6 times, get runaround from rude people and no one can tell me why it's denied . My friend finally figures it out, go back to the office . Their staff submitted my form incorrectly so benefits weren't going to start for several months and not when I need them to start as I am retiring soon . So have to disenroll and reenroll In Medicare , get a really off hand non apology , apology and also lied and say they tried to contact me which they didnt. If my friend hadn't figured it out I would probably still be calling or would have to postpone my retirement . Would be nice if they submitted your forms correctly and paid attention instead of rushing you out. If anyone on the 6 phone calls I made had really listened to me they should have been able to figure it out. Very upsetting and unnecessary experience. They asked me what the appointment was for they said well, we can't help you and we don't know why you're here. They wanted me out of there ASAP! I began to tell them that I spoke to someone on the phone and they were the ones who gave me the appointment for today! Anybody knows that you can't walk into the Social Security office and you have to make an appointment! I don't know why they think they're above the law. They're just rude. I couldn't stand being there for another minute, I knew I would have a panic attack very soon by looking at the way they operate this place.
