It is located close to the Orlando Fashion Square Mall, but it is on a little side street that you probably would never notice unless you are specifically looking for it. It is not open on Saturdays, which is a bit strange. You woukd think that the United States Postal Service woukd have some uniformity with the hours of their locations, but it is what it is. I frequent this location as they offer a larger parcel drop box during closed business hours, which the location closer to me does not have. The parking lot here can be a little bit sticky as there are limited spots, and only a one-way in and out. They do also have post office boxes if you're looking for one. Sometimes there is a wait and sometimes I walk right up as next in line to the counter. At the counter, service is fairly standard and smooth: I'm typically greeted, I say what I'd like to mail/purchase and they go through their processes, I pay and I'm out of there. There is the option to use the electronic mail center to purchase postage if you don't want to wait in line. Overall my experiences at this location have been okay and without issue.

When I approached she spoke as if her mouth was full making it impossible to hear much less understand. When I asked the difference in cost between overnight and priority she tossed an address sticker on the counter for me to fill out. I then repeated the question she turned her back to me saying nothing and pointed to the ceiling. Does everyone just look up at the ceiling for information? I then told her I'll take the overnight. She gave me an envelope and pointed to the area to fill out. What a rude obnoxious person the American tax payers are funding her life. I needed to walk away, so I did her the favor and tossed it back at her and I went to the lobby to fill out the envelope. Luckily when I came back I had a young man who was very nice, very helpful. However, she kept telling every customer who would listen how "some people" are disrespectful. Each customer until I walked out had to listen to her mouth. I walked out with a man and he said "She needs a lesson in humanity". I feel bad that anyone has to work with that thing but thanked the young man for his help. It is no wonder this location has a overall very low rating. Florida has a fire-at-will clause, DO IT.

An employee, a guy, just happened to be walking out while I was debating on what to do. I asked him about a postage machine or if he knew of a post office nearby where postage could be bought. He said he hadn't seen one of those machines in a long time & he didn't know where I could find one. I was flying home without a lot of extra space. Please get a postage machine.

Instead, I called and it turns out they will pack and ship for you! I would much rather spend a bit extra to have professionals with the right packing supplies work their magic on my shipping needs! Besides that, they solved a bunch of other errands I needed to get done. I was able to take care of some printing I needed (not costly, and super quick to get your docs printed), and I realized you can bring any amazon returns and they'll fully handle it! You may pay a dollar or two for packaging if you don't bring a box, but holy cow this is going to solve my issue with never actually returning my Amazon REGRET purchases. I appreciate that they require masks inside, have social distancing stickers of the floor, and have plenty of signage for all of your needs. Overall, they helped me cross a bunch of things off my to-do list and made it as easy as can be!

They don't offer a lot of other Post Office services here, and are mainly a hub for sending priority mail and packages. Like everyone has stated, it's Cash or Check only; and is a very small office. My experience with the employees was generally pleasant, and I was only there to send out some personal letters, so things were straightforward and easy.

With a little bit of research, I learned that this branch is "a historic landmark designed by Louis Simon in a Northern Italian Palazzo Revival style." It opened in the early 1940s, and its dawns GRAND features, like high ceilings, marble flooring, ornate bronze doors, bronze lock boxes, and many other unique features that brings it its character. It serves as both a post office and a hub for the Catholic Diocese. As it relates to me, it is walkable from my job - so on days when the weather is nice, I opted to walk. When I don't walk, I drive and they have a limited amount of parking but there is parking available on the street and surrounding areas. The wait is usually not too bad - unless you are going during peak hours. The staff is nice and helpful. They usually have everything I am looking for with the exception of some speciality box sizes - which can simply be secured via their website. The price is the price! We already know how hard our US postal workers have to work, so I patron the postal office as much as I possibly can.
