Less than 2 weeks before Christmas, so the mailing chaos is in full swing, but this location has it handled like a champ! Not only did they have every station open with a worker, but they also had two giant rolling bins set out that people could drop prepaid packages in without having to wait in line. They also had a self-serve station that helped expedite the immense volume of people, and they're open a bit later on Saturdays (until 2pm) compared to other nearby postal offices that are only open until noon. read more

Bad service by Cleveland Street. Came with open package. Clerk refused to process my return packet because it was open. I asked for a packing tape. Clerk said they have none, but she can sell me one. During this time of Covid, the Post Office DOES have it's act together. We needed to mail our passport renewals and went by on a Saturday. Surprisingly, there was only a few people in line at 9:30. Passport applications need special handling because the envelope needs to be tracked. For those who don't know, you have to send your current passport along with the renewal application. So, it's important to make sure that the envelopes get to their proper destination. This post office is clean and well kept. The postal clerk was extra friendly and knew exactly how to send our passport envelopes. We only spent about 15 minutes in total. read more

I went in the one on belcher rd to return something to a company and I had the label and the taller one with glasses said that I have to buy tape to put the label on. Tax Day. Yep, I had to mail my amended return out. Nope, I had already filed, but the husband had gotten something ELSE in the mail and we had to get it sent off because, well.. the IRS needed MORE money. This is the closest location to the husband's work place, and though it's the hardest post office to ever get into, has the least parking spaces I've ever encountered, the employees actually seemed to give a damn. In fact, when I came in, 2 patrons were arguing. One of the employees told them to shut it. I'm glad she did. No one has time for that crap. I have multiple items that the Largo, Florida branch of the United States Postal Service has lost. One item is my TAX RETURN from another state, where I used to live. I visited the branch, twice, and was told by the manager, Allison, that there was nothing that they could do and that I should contact the sender of all the items that they have lost. Thankfully, I have Informed Delivery, or else I would have no idea what these people have done. I am waiting to hear back from the Postmaster General, but I do not think they will help me. I live on Belcher so I've come here the past 2 years for convenience sake. Each time I went, I got terrible customer service! Workers are rude and treat you as if your business is an inconvenience to them. I stopped in Friday to mail a 12 lb package, when I told them I would try elsewhere due to the price, the cocky worker responded with, "I'm sure you'll be back". I was on my lunch break and didn't have a lot of time because I had to stop by the bank, come here then pick up something to eat since I did not pack a lunch. There was a line but it went quickly. Glad to say this office was quick and efficient. The worker also told me of the cheapest way I could send my items and provided me with all the different options and how much each would cost. It only took me 5 minutes to get my business taken care of here which made it possible for me to get the other things done during my lunch break. I appreciated he was not trying to sell me stuff but actually started with advising the cheapest way to send it. I was nervous about coming here as I saw some scathing Google reviews prior to my arrival as I looked for the closest Post Office location online, but that was certainly not my experience here and before I was an active Yelper I've visited this location several times before about a year or 2 ago and it was smooth sailing then and now which is a relief when you are like me, coming here out of the necessity to snail mail as requested by the recipient. read more

I never leave bad reviews, but this branch is literally the worst . Always extremely rude including their managers. Instead of finding a solution they are so quick to say NO in your face . If you arrive 4:59 they will literally close the gate in your face even if you have your label already printed and everything taped and packaged . If you print labels at home they refuse to scan it in and give you a receipt claiming it's against their policies . That doesn't make any sense , the only USPS that gave me this kind of bs excuse . This post office is the worst one I've ever dealt with. The people are rude both in person and over the phone. I moved during a time when a package/certified letter was trying to make its way to me. I put in a change of address the day I moved as the move was unexpected so couldn't plan ahead. The place I was moving from my roommate stated anything left would be returned to sender. I went into the post office personally to see what could be done about this parcel that was in-route. They nastily took my phone # and name stating they would call me when it arrived in their facility. A week has passed, I've heard nothing so I called to check. The most incompetent people you will ever meet. We have 'Cluster Mailboxes ' in our neighborhood and this past Saturday, our Mailman put our packages in someone else's mailbox. No one will ever be honest and return them... We called the Post Office to see if there was anything that could be done and they had ZERO accountability. Two times I arrived at the post office right after they had closed, but they had an automatic mail machine in the lobby - I was sending tax stuff so needed to send things certified, etc. On both occasions, one of their staff came out and helped me; walked me through the process. They don't help call ins. They either ignore the call or they 'answer' it, but really they just put the phone receiver to the side to fake like there are issues and then hang up on you. I figured it out after multiple calls and being able to hear the office noise in the background and the difference in times from rings to answers. Terrible customer service. Had a package I was waiting THREE WEEKS on. I was so excited when it finally came, only to find my parcel was marked, "Undeliverable As Addressed" and marked for return. I called them and spoke to a woman NAMED BRIDGET, about the situation. She said she'd call the carrier and alert them. It was around 8:30am. She said she would promptly call be back. I waited all day, and called at 3:30. She then informed me she's waiting for the carrier to get back so the package can be checked. Confirmed my number and everything. She promised to call me at or before 5. NEVER CALLED. I called the post office next morning before opening and LUCKILY SOMEONE ELSE ANSWERED!! I explained the situation and the lady walked me through the same questions as Bridget. EXCEPT she took the time to physically find my package and check it, only to find out the sender forgot my Apartment number on the label. Quick fix. I gave it to her, it was shipped out and at my door literally one hour later. I'm really disappointed Bridget didn't live up to her word, or go out of her way like the lady did. What could have taken one day ended up taking three, and Bridget really dampened my experience. She didn't care. :/ Thanks to the woman that tried, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten what I waited so long for. read more
