There are a few other smaller locations, but if…read moreyou want the most services and the best hours, you'll either come to this branch or head to the cities of Dallas or Plano. Parking here can be tricky. It's a circle drive, but with pedestrians and cars both coming and going you have to be super cautious not to run into anyone. The counter staff quick, efficient, professional and helpful, but there will rarely feel like there are enough in duty. Most days, I feel like there is a line and a wait because there are so many customers seeking services. The facility has a machine that allows you to weigh your package and pay for postage, but I rarely see anyone use it. It's less of a hassle to wait in line and get personalized help. They also offer postal boxes for rent, you can buy cards and pretty package mailers or even pick up the express or priority boxes of different sizes for free. Different unique stamps can be bought here, and the staff are great about always asking if you need some extra with your order. Limited quantities are available. Most services you can do buying online from the comfort of your home. Still, it is nice to know that you can still get personalized help when needed.

The doors make it look a little scary- but you walk in and you'll see a ton of PO Boxes and then you turn right and see the small little post office. She said I needed to package my packages. She refused to continue the transaction until I agreed. Then another employee came over and smoothed out the situation and just put a strip of packing tape over what the other employee was complaining about. For the second transaction I wanted to ship a small bubble mailer USPS at the lowest rate because it wasn't urgent. I was told it would be over 15$ I thought it was strange because I had just shipped the same size mailer a week before at around 8$. The employee says that usps had raised their rates. I go ahead with the transaction, but when I checked my receipt & tracking number my package had NOT been shipped usps. It had been shipped UPS, which was much more expensive. I run a small business that ships frequently. I will never use this store again for anything but free Amazon returns.

REGARDING PASSPORT WALK-INS [1 for experience during:…read moreJANUARY 2026] If you arrive here for walk-in's between 12:00PM-1:00PM, they'll go ahead and tell you they only accept the first four applicants rather than working the entire hour listed on the USPS website. While this time allotment makes sense since each passport should take 15 minutes to process if you have all the required documents, but if they end up finishing four applicants by 12:22PM(say, a family came in and they all had their information ready), with 38 minutes to spare until 1:00PM, you WILL get told to read the sign on the door and get told to go home. The reasoning stated is because: - Processing the passports uses up their Lunch Break, they're doing this out of generosity since they do not have to. - There are appointments all throughout the day, up to a full month out. I would have appreciated if the website mentioned that they only accepted FOUR applicants and NONE MORE between12:00PM to 1PM rather than choosing to not work the full hour they had allotted on the website. *If you still want to do passports here, be sure to arrive an hour or so early, I stress that they only accept FOUR people, and many others will arrive early as well.
