Extremely disappointed with the service at this post office. We drove 40 minutes after confirming online that Thursday had walk-in passport hours from 3 to 4 p.m. When we arrived exactly at 3:00, we were told the clerk who would be helping us was on lunch and wouldn't be back until 3:30 p.m., which made no sense considering that's when walk-ins were supposed to begin at 3:00pm When we were finally helped by TYLER, his attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming from the start. Every chance he got to send us away, he took, rather than helping us resolve small, simple issues on the spot. He acted inconvenienced as if he just didn't want to help. I also watched two families get turned away, even though they arrived during the posted time slot. It genuinely felt like he didn't want to assist anyone. He was dismissive, rude, and condescending. The whole experience made me feel completely uncomfortable and unwelcome. I've never had such a horrible customer service experience. It's not just Tyler's behavior that's concerning. It's also a management issue for assigning someone clearly unfit to represent USPS, especially in the role of a passport acceptance agent. read more

Good post office for passport applications! Made an appointment on line for a passport application (for new passports and if your passport was lost or stolen, you need to go in person). Appointment worked perfectly. Very efficient postal employee helped me, and the process took 10 minutes from start to finish. Our postal carrier works out of this post office and he is very kind and professional. He even checked with our neighbor to make sure we were ok when we hadn't picked up our mail for several days. Recently my adult daughter who lives with us received a package but a notice was left that additional postage was due. She checked with the company she had ordered from because it was supposed to be free shipping and they told her they paid the correct amount according to their post office. We went online to get the package redelivered but for some reason it didn't go through as the package was not delivered as we requested. The following day we went to this post office to pick up the package. The employee was very kind and helpful and explained why there was an additional fee due to an error on the side of the seller. I ordered $300 worth of personalized items from Germany to be delivered for and by my father's memorial. The memorial has now passed, and my package has been sitting at this post office since Friday at 4 AM. The post office is one and a half miles from my house. Talk about rude employees with a general lack of public common sense. Walked in for a passport appointment, before we could even say we're here for a passport appointment one of the employees cut my wife off mid sentence and said "read the sign, if you don't have everything on the sign your appointment is canceled." We had brought everything that's listed on the State's website for passport applications, but apparently we needed additional photocopies. At which point we were told "you don't have what you need make another appointment" and the employee just walked away. My wife asked if we could just get the copies made here or down the street and come back in 5 mins, to which again the only response we got was "you don't have what you need, I told you to read the sign , make another appointment" Above it all, the post office was DEAD, so it's not like if he had taken the time to give us a hand and make sure we processed the passport for our 3 yo and 3 mo old. As a side note, not sure when it became USPS standard to have multicolored hair. read more

Mail is regularly delivered to us that doesn't belong to us, and sometimes not even in the same neighborhood. I understand mistakes happen and don't mind bringing it to my neighbor. However, now they're flat out lying. I was expecting a birthday present to be delivered today, then get notice that it's "undeliverable". What does that even mean? They couldn't get in our gate? Even though they come in all the time? Nobody knocked, there's no note on the door or mailbox. They didn't attempt. Use UPS from now on. read more

Great little post office. Staff is friendly and manager opens up more stations as needed and every time I've been there he makes it easier for people to get in and out before it gets too backed up. Only thing I noticed is that when I was supposed to pick up my mail keys when they called to tell me the keys were ready for me. No one called me so I went in to get my mail and pick up my mail. I read another reviewer who also called everyday and no one answered is because at the office everyone has it on mute and no one answers them even when it's on low! This is key to great customer service! Do they have someone in the back answering their calls? Are they low in staff? Don't know but this explains why you walk 'In n' Out 'promptly out of this office! read more

Horribly unprofessional. Due to vandalism, our mail was forwarded to this local post office. I have tried to collect the mail 4 separate times on 4 separate days and have been told to 1) "come back in the afternoon" 2) "come back at 2:30" 3) "come back tomorrow" 4) "come back next week" Unlike this post office, it is difficult for those of us who work to make multiple trips to collect basic mail. I had a horrible experience with a Supervisor at this location. My Apartment decided they were going to send all our packages to the Post Office for the tenants to pick up. This is not a choice I would have chosen, none the less I received notification on a Saturday that my package was out for delivery, knowing my apartments were not allowing packages I knew it would not be delivered on a Saturday as the Post Office closes at 2pm on Saturdays, I went to the post office to pick up my package on my lunch Break on Monday. The Supervisor was so rude, mean and nasty. He told me I picked up my package on Saturday- email said it was tendered @ 6:30 pm, So I informed him there was no way I was able to pick up the package if the post office is closed at 2pm on Saturday. He proceeded to tell me he was going to send all the packages he received from our Apartment back to sender I said he can't do that he said " I can do whatever I want." If I did not have to use USPS I would never go to the Henderson pass location ever. This "Supervisor" is the rudest man I have ever spoken to. HE wants to send packages back to sender because he does not want to have to scan the packages. read more

And I needed a label envelope and a kitchen sink So I went to the main on perrin bietel guy there said they do walk ins mon thru Sat 8 to 10 am. So Henderson pass they aren't worth a dam. I am 100% disabled Veteran I receive my Prescriptions through the US Mail. When i went to get my package this AM i found a key labeled C in my box. When i went to receive my package it was already gone. There was a key labelled F in the keyhole. How does this Happen? I tried all the box's and of the key fit none of the remaining 5. After numerous attempts on the phone i finally filed a complaint VIA phone. The customer Service from USPS told me to call 210-495-9774 to talk with the Carrier Supervisor. Absolutely NOONE Answers that phone!! I tried 10 times before doing this. It says transferring to operator and then rings until it hangs up! My Complaint number is 62830523. The VA barely sends my medication in time anyways. This delay Has caused me to run out of 3 of my 5 Medicines. read more

This post office is in a good location. Stood in line for about 15-20 minutes. The place is clean and orderly. There were 4 postal representatives working but they were all going super slow. I guess that's to be expected as I've never had speedy, in and out service at a post office. They do passport applications by appointment however do accept walk-ins on Fridays. You may want to call to double check and confirm though as they have changes regularly. Overall, it got the job done. read more

If I could leave less than 1-star I would. In any industry, any business, any organization, I've never received worse customer service. All of these awful comments on this post office are sadly true. I just moved to SA and occupied a home in a residential neighborhood, haven't been able to get mail at my own mailbox going on 2 months now. Was told the courier could take up to 6 months to make a new key. When you go to pick up your mail, many times you'll wait for 15-20 minutes before anybody even comes out from behind the closed door. Sadly, now the most important piece of mail I've been waiting on (new TX drivers license) is the one piece of mail that has mysteriously gone missing, even after Informed Delivery showed a photo of it delivered. read more

I have been calling multiple times throughout the day trying to get a hold of somebody. Coming home on my lunch break. I was following the mail lady and noticed that she went past multiple houses, including mine, not checking them. I had stopped and yelled to her when she stopped across the street, if she checks her outgoing mail because we've had outgoing mail left in our mailbox while still putting new mail in there. Her response was we should get a flag. She checks the mail boxes that have flags......... my grandmother and I rent this house and it has concrete around the mailbox. Now all my life I've seen the mail people check all mailboxes, no matter flag or no flag. Just thought I would put this on here in case people are wondering about their mail. read more

Multiple times where the carriers (different ones) have said they attempted to deliver something when we were home and they didn't attempt to deliver anything. I read a lot of negative reviews for this location, but I still decided to visit of my postal needs. I must say it was my best post office experience! Great service and courteous staff. Although a little busy during the lunch hour (understandably), my wait was only 15-20 minutes. I had the wrong info on my packaging and the clerk was very helpful. It's a post office. What else do you want? Upon our arrival there where about 10 people ahead and 3-4 clerks running the desk and everything was moving fast. I'm from Los Angeles and for me the service with a smile from here was welcomed. I was there with my brother so that he could obtain a new mailbox key for his home. $25.00 dollars to have it re-keyed with 3 new keys upon it being done. WOW!! For me that's SUPER CHEAP. A locksmith in Los Angeles would charge 3 to 4 times that. Our clerk was fantastic and provided great service with a smile. read more

This post office is a shining example of what you get when the government can't stop funding something that is no longer relevant. 1. A failure to deliver on what is promised (secure and reliable delivery of mail to your door). 2. No drive to provide competitive services at a competitive price (such as FedEx or UPS) because they do not need to make a profit when tax dollars are backing them up. 3. An employee work ethic that is the result of empowerment of the wrong people because it's nearly impossible to fire them for anything. I never have a problem at this post office. It's a great neighborhood office with convenient times and enough staff that people in line are not always through the door. I come here regularly and have for the past 9 years. I agree that some of the staff were less friendly in the past, however, a majority of them are very nice and professional. If anything, I get more irritated with the patrons that always forget to fill out forms or have a million questions like it's their first time mailing a package. This Post Office is by far the BEST Post Office I've ever been to! When I walked in the line was long, but within a few seconds the managers came out and started asking what kind of service each person needed, which cleared up the line fast! I had the pleasure of working with Vanessa and she had the best customer service I've ever seen! Yet again we didn't receive our mail when clearly informed delivery from their site shows there was several pieces to be delivered. This is not the first time this has happened, when I spoke to them last time they tried to play it off that I didn't have mail. After speaking to two streets of neighbors no one got mail. I've had two packages going missing one was just the other day. They choose to not scan a few of them and I have the receipts to prove this.

Wow--in and out in record time!!! Although the parking lot was full, the lines were not long at all inside the post office. I had a small package to ship and brought it here since UPS was a little too pricey. There were plenty of Priority shipping boxes and labels available in the lobby, the tables were neat and extremely well organized and there wasn't a bunch of trash laying around everywhere from the self-adhesive labels (that people typically leave behind). I got in line and there were only two people ahead of me. I waited less than two minutes before I was helped. The staff here are efficient, friendly, and highly professional and I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of the entire transaction. I wish I had known about this post office location sooner. I will definitely be back and I don't mind driving a little further for exceptional service. read more
