Stumbled upon this gem USPS while looking up USPS in the vicinity due to my occasional long and arduous work schedules. Initially I was in doubt, thinking that there is no way a USPS is open until 22:00 or on both Saturdays and Sundays but I really needed to mail my shipment on time so I drove here to check it out. As I arrived, I realized that the rumors are true! They are not only open until 22:00 and are open on weekends as well. I'd especially like to recommend Gregory, who was the friendly, efficient and accommodating USPS agent who helped me out. It is rare to see someone who is optimistic, efficient and happy when working this late. Bravo, Greg! Because of the Greg, friendly and efficient staff members, plus the convenient opening hours including evening and weekends, I will definitely be coming back to this particular USPS in the future even if I had to drive much further. For the box keys gave me a cut strip of computer paper showing my box was closed and that is all i needed since their system would not allow to confirm the P.O box keys were returned. The second time went in early and on a week day to ask for confirmation that keys were retuned and box closed...and came to the conslusion it is not worth the time to explain further, Felt the coldness of this location was much and to this day feel the Postal Service has fallen below their business expectations...glad there is others to choose from read more

Marissa and Keeva were absolutely amazing!!! My boyfriend and I came in with over 400 orders that all needed new labels because they were done wrong. They both took on all the orders together without any fuss. They had such great attitudes the whole time, super personable and hilarious! I felt so bad for giving them all that work to fix but their kindness made me feel so much better about the situation. I even came back to bring them donuts and kolaches as a thank you. Disgusted by the behavior of the staff, I've struggled with getting my address changed because I have nothing from my old place that I only changed addresses to for 3 months because I was in between living. And the lady was like, "Well, there's nothing I can do " with an attitude. So I replied with attitude, and threw her hands up and she got her manager to "override" it, but it just sent me back in the same loop I've been in for the past 2 months. On top of that, as I was leaving, one of the workers decided to talk about me as I was exiting. I returned back into the establishment, where the manager then told me, "I can't come in and check his employees like that." As if she wasn't talking about me . But if you talk about someone on the job, they should expect nothing less than to be "checked," especially when acting with a disgusting, unprofessional manner towards a costumer who isn't even out of earshot. At least wait until I leave the building. And he stated, "She wasn't talking about you but about the situation," when that shouldn't have happened during business hours regardless. But I heard her say with attitude as I was leaving, "She did have an attitude. I don't know why she came in here like that." When I was nice up until the lady wouldn't give me any other options to help other than I'm out of luck . But all I did was ask for her name so I could report her for talking about me as I was leaving. They should be absolutely ashamed of how they handled themselves because the lady helping me was giving me attitude first, and the lady that was talking about me wasn't even helping me or in the conversation. She thought it was cute to be very disgusting and talk about another human being like she knows what they have going on. I hope they all seek escalation training because it just took someone being extra nice to me and saying, "Hey, we can work with you if you can just find something with that address on it or any kind of solution." Like the manager said he did but didn't, and she refused to help me from the beginning. Will never return, and if they don't like their jobs, they should get new ones. read more

So for months already my apartment complex is currently getting our mailboxes fixed and has our mail getting delivered to this location. Well when I finally had the time to go get mail I called and no one answered. Ok whatever I'll drive up there it's just 10minutes. I get there and they tell me our mail got sent back to our apartment complex because it's up and going. Great wish I would've known. I drive back and try to get into our mailroom sure enough it's not working. Next day I saw someone working on the mail door so I quickly went inside and tried to get my mail that I was told was sent back. Nothing in my mailbox. I called this post office 3-4 times until someone finally answered. Was told it would be sent out that same day if not the next. Gave it about 3days. Went back and checked still nothing. Ever since then I've been calling and calling and no one ever answers. I don't wanna waste my time on making another trip down there just to be told my mail is back over here. This is really ridiculous and I just need my mail. I understand it's the holidays but I would think there would be a lot of employees or something. read more

I've never really had an issue going to this post office. It's really busy during lunch time and especially on Fridays. It's pretty straightforward experience. More than likely there is always a line, the counter people are legit trying to do their best (there's times I've been here when it's so sluggish). It's always the customers coming here with incomplete mailing info, or asking for complicated request. But overall, the staff here is friendly. Good experience, and convenient location. read more

So tired of this post office closing before its actual business hours. Drive over 25 miles only to find out they decided to just close lobby without any notice or notes. No one answers door even for prepaid labels. No bin outside to accept larger packages that won't fit in its drop box. read more

Today at 11:02AM I was notified my package was already delivered to my address, turns out it wasn't there. I go to this store and the young gentleman which I forgot to get his name was very helpful and got my number and name down so they can call me once my package arrived at this store. Since my package couldn't fit in the my mailbox. (Which is totally fine) Around 5:50PM same day, I get a call from this stores number and I got informed that the employee that had my package just got back from his route, I thanked and told them I'd be on my way. At 5:30pm to 5:40pm (same day) I meet Miss Andrea, she asked what I needed and I told her I just received a call from this place to inform me my package was ready, she gets my info and heads back. A few seconds go by and she comes back and tells me nothing is there. So I let her know, well someone called me from here confirming my package is here. We go back and forth which is where I mess up if I'm being honest. I asked for her name since she rudely kept avoiding my questions. I asked for the managers name and she basically told me to F off by saying "come back Tuesday" I informed her I couldn't be coming back and forth due to work. I asked her for the customer service number or asked if anyone else could help me. Her answer was no it's only me and him (pointed to an elderly gentleman) So I said okay and got on my phone to make a quick call. As soon as I dial the number the same gentleman from earlier when I first got there came from the back and greeted me and helped me. And guess what! He did his job and found my package that wasn't there according to Andrea! And as the guy was helping me with my mail/package I could hear Andrea (the employee) make small remarks about my mail. "Oh no wonder she didn't get her mail". I'm sorry what is your business worrying about my mail? This is my first time here at this USPS and San Antonio and so far this will be my last visit. Unless they take action on this lady. I'm 21 years old and she's literally 60, behaving worse than people my age. Shame on her. I will be contacting a manager Tuesday morning. read more

This post office is where you want to go when you have a lot to mail and not much time to wait. There's plenty of workers usually here and they have extended hours. The down side is the drive. It's a little confusing driving in and out of this location. The parking is decent and I usually don't have any issues. I've never had any issues here and it's such a large facility that you don't feel like the wait is so long. The clientele typically is there to send out packages, so you also don't have as much of the neighborly chatting you may see at a smaller post office. It's also about business! So if you like that, come here! read more

The mail carrier folded in half an out of print book labeled "media" on the package and stuffed it brutally into my tiny apartment mailbox. As any sane and reasonable individual would guess, the book isn't in great shape. Once again, the USPS is showing exactly why they would be out of business if it wasn't a government operation... All I had was one Priority mail item, already prepared, and I waited in a long line till it was my turn. The line was long because only two staff were on duty at the counter, at a time. When it was my turn, I went to the counter to get a receive receipt for it. Then I simply asked the postal person (it was the only male that was working at the counter this Saturday evening), if this was the main postal office. He was extremely agitated that I even spoke to him and was sending me body language that he had no time for me and I was waisting his time. It was so clear and embarrassing the way he blew me off. I thought maybe it was because I was a black woman he felt the right to dishonor me without consequence. But then I considered maybe this guy just treats everyone like shit. read more

They are all extremely poor and not geared toward service. Haven't received mail in over a week due to construction on our roads. The private carriers don't seam to have any issues with their deliveries. Don't bother trying to call to complain. They don't answer their phones. If you need your mail to go out today, then this is the post office to drop your letters and parcels. Located right next door to the airport, items go out faster than any other post office in the city. They collect mail from Monday to Saturday until 6:45PM, which is great for those with crazy schedules and for panic moments of "oh no, this was supposed to be mailed already." The office inside is actually opened from 8AM to 10PM Mon thru Sat, and 1PM to 8PM on Sunday, again, great for those that have work schedules that aren't typical. read more

Hands down, the best post office in San Antonio. It's right next to the airport, so they can sort and load the mail right onto the planes. In my experience, this is the fastest post office in town! They also keep longer hours than most other post offices. The place isn't all that clean, but who would expect that from the post office? The staff is typically rather professional and friendly. They've seen it all. I love the fact that this location stays open until midnight on Tax Day! Great for all of us who tend to put things off until the last possible minute. Getting here can be a bit confusing, with all the airport traffic and all those cones, but don't worry about those cones in the road, I've found you can drive right over them with no damage to your car! :) read more

Once again they cannot do their jobs at all, whoever the mail person was today once again put an important package of mine in the wrong mail box, I live at an apartment complex so who knows what box my package is in. I call at 3pm a guy answers I give him my address and he said he's going to call the driver to fix it, I call an hour later numerous times to no answer and ofcourse the error they made was not corrected. I guess I'll see tomorrow if my package is put into the correct box or if the person opened it and kept it. Hope the workers here get their mail stolen. read more

This post office sucks all around unfortunately. I have had over 10 issues with packages being lost & stolen over the time period of a year. And still have those issues while my mail is supposed to be on hold smh. Ive had times where I go pick up my hold mail knowing there's a package there and the staff will look quickly once say it's not there then have someone else check & find it. Looks like this place has changed quite a bit since the last reviews on here. This is the closest location to me, but I will no longer pick convenience over quality. This post office is always understaffed, and the few employees available are incredibly inept, not to mention unfriendly. Is it any wonder the USPS is slowly, but surely, becoming obsolete? I once had to wait over 45 minutes for them to locate a package on site. Another time, an employee informed me that my shipment was being held at another local USPS. Wonderful service by wonderful staff! My father passed away earlier this year and I just had a memorial service for him. During my short trip back home, I collected some things that just would not fit with me and my luggage when flying back home. I remembered my mother used to talk about this particular post office and how it can be a savior for last minute mailing and whatnots. I was able to get 2 boxes for stuff I needed to send out. However, I was unable to find a box for a large portrait. However, the staff there searched in the back for a bigger size. Alas, none was found. We weren't aware of a package being shipped needing a signature and we missed it thinking it would be left at the door. It was a "Santa" gift that was supposed to be here for tonight. The note left behind said we could come get it the 26th, which is obviously too late for Santa. We went to the USPS and asked if there's anything we could do to get it. A very kind and helpful worker named Roscoe went above and beyond to help ensure that we came back at the right time for the truck it was on to return and he made sure we got our package. He didn't need to do this. He could have said to come back Thursday but his Christmas spirit led him to do otherwise. I think it's safe to say this is the kind of man that would have done this any other day as well. Thank you so much Roscoe. I don't know if you'll ever see this but I still wanted to do what little I could to say thank you and how much we appreciate this gesture. This post office is open late. And is open Saturdays! Until 10:00 pm! Sundays they are open from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. HOWEVER don't throw yourself into a tizzy fit getting over there people. The last pickup of mail, I repeat, the LAST PICKUP is at 6 pm on Saturday. Any later than that, and your mail will go out on MONDAY at 6:00 PM. Read it and weep. So the staff may be great (yay!), the hours good (yay! Yay!) but the mail is just gonna sit there till Monday. Sure wish they shared this info on the USPS website!!!! read more
