I used to go here all the time but no longer do. The woman who works has always been so nice...until I unthinkingly walked up to the counter and cheerily said 'Hi'! She completely ignored me and walked away to the back of the store to do something. (The rules are: Wait to be called! oops!) Another time, I saw a corner of my parcel that needed a small bit of tape for mailing. I asked her for some tape and she said they didn't keep any tape there. Of course, that was a LIE. There is NO way a post office, even a small one, would not have tape. Do they think I'm stupid? At the regular post offices, they always give you tape when needed. Sometimes they will better secure your package w/o your even asking. Another time, I saw a big roll of tape laying on an adjacent counter and assumed I could use it. The man behind the other counter heard me (could not see me) using the tape and bellowed: If you're going to use that tape, you'd better be sending it priority (or something like that)! I have never been yelled at at any post office in my 76 years! His lack of customer service skills is appalling. Did they just hire him off the street?? The convenience of having this so-called post office is not worth it. They are not professional. It's just better to go to a full-service post office where you are treated with respect. We are the few people that still carry two checks just in case but she didn't come back so we left. At approximately 9:00 am, I deposited the small package in the metal mailbox located at the post office, which was my first visit. The office opens at 10:30 am, so I returned later to confirm whether I had completed the task correctly. I was attended to by a lady with reddish hair who provided a somewhat curt response when I asked if I had done it right, simply saying 'ok' without offering any further assistance or questions. Wow, what is wrong with this place? Signs out front state no QR codes, no cell phone use, cash/check only. Who still uses check?? I walk up to the counter, I'm told by the employee (older woman with dyed red hair) who didn't bother to greet or look up at me, "you're using the wrong box, you can't use that box", no suggestions, just "I'm only stating the facts." I'll be the using the airport station on John Saunders instead, they are at least open 7 days/week and evenings. read more

I came here to drop off my package first of all I have forever stamps and when they told me the price the told me $40 for ground shipping. I told them what about my forever stamps and they said the nosy lady wanted to bud in and say they weren't forever stamps because she's never seen sponge bob stamps before obviously she's never seen them her location this tiny USPS is a mom and pop or franchise. They don't take cards for payment and they don't scan QR codes. Bring cash or don't bother!

Dropped off package no qr code they can't print anything which means there are no receipt to show proof of drop off. When asked for package back was tossed onto counter towards me when leaving the lady scoffed and said " whatever " just very rude and unprofessional. read more

I've tried using this post office from my small business & every time I drop off orders which are already packed and ready to scan I am greeted with attitude and incompetence from both employees here. I will gladly take my business elsewhere thanks to their inability to just scan packages and provide a receipt. read more

This incompetence shown by this facility is baffling. There was confusion about a suite number (suite # provided happens to be the same # found in the name of the street). Instead of using either of the phone numbers provided to clarify the address (both mine & the recipient), they just held the package, delaying delivery for 5 days. The package is a gift for a client. This is a contract location (third party post office in a shopping center) at 13428 San Pedro Ave., San Antonio, TX 78216. I'm giving it 2 stars only because of its convenience of location. About a year ago it was taken over by a new contractor/manager as the former one retired. I have gone to this post office for over 30 years, but now I found it not a pleasant or welcoming place to go because of the new manager and the way he runs things. He has added these signs both on the door and windows as well as inside on the walls: No QR Codes Do not approach the clerk until called. Closed on Saturday (used to be open on Sat. for over 30 years) No Credit or Debit Cards Now closed at 6:00 pm due to vandalism. In addition, the manager is not friendly, talks gruffly, does not say Thank you after a transaction (this has happened multiple times), and generally is unprofessional. It sets a bad impression of USPS. When I tried to fill out a complaint on line to USPS I got through the 4 steps and then it says there is no such location. However, it has a website on the internet with USPS info and pictures. What gives? There are similar complaints from other users on line. Will USPS notice? Does the contract for this phantom location allow this manager to shut down so many services? Doesn't someone need to investigate? read more

This was my go-to postal drop off for almost 20 years. But with the change in management a year or so ago it's decline has been precipitous. I was told yesterday they will no longer handle debit or credit payments, now cash only. That's a deal breaker for me. I'll have to go elsewhere, sadly. read more

This is the easiest post office for me to get to. I'm very glad it's here. I wish there was a post office closer to me, I've never lived anywhere where there isn't a post office in my zip code, but here I am. The people who own or work here are very nice, I've never had a problem. read more

They are the reason the USPS is failing. They constantly fail to deliver packages and mail. They refuse to deliver packages that do not fit inside a mail box. You cannot call them to find out why because they do not have a direct phone number. They don't have an internet connection and cannot even look up your packages. The USPS deserves to fail because of offices and mail carriers like this. read more

Post offices are such a hit or miss, and this location was a complete miss. Although the look of the post office feels official-ish, this is a contracted post office. Their staff are not USPS employees. Their services are extremely limited in scope; therefore, they are unable to perform or accommodate more than simple shipping tasks. If you stop by close to closing time, expect to be rushed and hurried out the door. Additionally, the location lacks an automated retail machine, so you'll be unable to purchase stamps or weight postage after hours. Although the line can be longer, I prefer to drive down to the USPS location near the airport on John Saunders where I can expect a full-service post office and knowledgeable staff. read more

This is a contracted location I was told at the counter. So they cannot perform all the services of a normal Post Office such as approving customs slips, processing passports, etc. You would only want to use this location if you are doing simple stuff like mailing letters and buying stamps. read more

The people at this seemingly family owned and operated branch are incredibly friendly and helpful. They'll lend you a pen, marker, and/or tape when you need to prep your packages instead of making you purchase a whole roll as I've had to do at other places. They have the priority mailers out but also sell some envelopes and boxes behind the counter. It's not a full service PO but I'd prefer coming here for my regular shipping needs over the PO near the airport any day, all day long. Great people here, providing great service and a smile. read more

Paid for 2 day shipping to realize 2 days later they shipped it ground and can take 7-10 days to get to it's destination from Texas to New Jersey. Complete waste of time read more
