What I did learn was that this post office is a substation of the post office on 11 mile and Greenfield? They cannot do certain things for that reason so just passports, stopping previous tenant from sending mail to your new address, etc. so may be better off headed to a full post office. It's still true that this post office does take lunch break sometimes isn't open.

I told him the situation that our mail was being held and we couldn't come out to pick it up. I asked if he could deliver all our held mail to us. He claimed he couldn't and we had to come get it then we would start getting mail again. Mind you there was no note that our mailbox was full as he claimed. After a bit of conversation he claimed he was doing us a favor by sending it to us. I said I would come up there and this genius took it as a threat. I meant I am incredibly busy, but I would go out of my way to get the mail. At the end of the conversation he said he'd send it out tomorrow so Saturday the 1st of August. we concluded the conversation with him being very rude and me telling him "have the day you deserve" flash forward to today and no mail was sent to us again. My sister eventually went to the 12 mile location and got all of it after it was never sent. Mind you I went out of my way after the rude phone conversation to the Farmington hills 48336 branch as the usps website said to and of course was told rudely that I was at the wrong branch. I only went to go to tell the man who I spoke with William Diamond that no note was left and protocol was not followed Mind you my mother drops packages off at this location and they're never open on time! After handing the package back to the mail carrier, he became quite upset that I had opened the package to see what it was and then refused delivery. I know Medicare only covers drugs in this case for a 90-day supply, and I had already got it for this period. I felt very uncomfortable with the level of agitation by the carrier and then tried unsuccessfully 3 times to contact the USPS 12 mile office to voice my concerns on the incident, but they don't answer the office calls, and you are disconnected.
