Very kind people. Never had a problem with them. I've been here several times and all the personnel are well prepared.

I appreciate that they have a bin where you can put items with the postage already paid (without having to stand in line), and the hours are better than most post offices. Open until 6 pm Monday through Friday and until 2 pm on Saturday! They also have plenty of parking. read more

I had to come out here for work and needed to mail a package so I google USPS and found this place. Unfortunately I came around 12:30 pm and the place was packed. But I figured since I was already here minds well just wait in line and schlep it like everyone else.... The line moved pretty fast considering they are packed. My clerk was a nice woman who was in pretty good mood considering how busy they were. The interaction I saw between a customer and the lady working behind the counter was nothing short of shocking. The customer was treated with so much disrespect that it made me angry. These women are power hungry and incredibly rude. Very condescending and belittling, and then they laugh and congratulate each other. Absolutely disgusting behavior. read more

Hours of operation are convenient at this location. They always seem to be busy, particularly sometime before closing time. They do however have their stationary area open the whole time which is convenient. That section stays open until the post office is closed. When making a turn into the post office off the street, you can easily miss it as there is no big sign or anything standing out that shows you it's there. So you have to pay close attention so as to not miss the turn. The parking around it is sort of in an L shape around the building so pay close attention to cars moving in and out as it gets a little busy and congested in the parking lot sometimes. read more

This post office is on my way to work, not far off the GA 400 exit ramp, and has a self-service kiosk for postage and packages, so you can handle your mail and shipping needs outside of their business hours. I hate to leave a one star review, but I have never been so disgusted in someone's behavior. I came in the office today an the employee who helped me was amazing. I came in around 12:30. The employee next to her Lisa had a customer in tears. She made a scene an made the customer out as difficult an said to give her a minute an just walked away. When she returned to desk the customer apologized an stated she had a recent death in the family. Lisa told here we are all going through stuff. The woman did nothing to even apologize for an was in tears. I work in customer service an could never imagine treating someone so poorly. read more

Some workers are so nice and others so rude. No one behind me and no one at the counter so I walked up, got told to get back in line (no line), took a few steps back just to be told to come back up to the counter. Worst location there is. Most offices have a dropoff bin for prepaid packages even after close. This one sometimes will have it, sometimes won't. Even getting there 1 min til close (because I work a normal job and come straight there after) they won't let you drop off your prepaid packages. Horrible staff read more

I used to live In Alpharetta, now I live in Duluth but work in Alpharetta, so I go back and forth between the two post offices. I sell a little bit online so I go pretty often. I just really appreciate the fact that the Alpharetta post office never gives me a hard time about scanning my packages. I REALLY appreciate that. And they are friendly too. read more

I had a simple question to ask the manager on duty the day of May 8th. After waiting 20 Mins for her to acknowledge me she NEVER even bothered to come out the back room. She first asked the one guy there hey what zip code does she live in ?? So she could try to send me to another location !! Then once she heard me say no this issue is with the fact I sent my wedding invitations off from here ! I have never seen employees who hate their job/life as much as the ones that work here. I waited in line for 30 minutes in a tight building with no space for anyone. The man in front of me accidentally walked up to the counter before being called up and the woman at the register tried to make an example by having him stand to the side and continue to call me, and other customers up. The lady in the post office does not take care of the packages. She just throws the packages in the bin without any mind at all in what may be in the package. I just sent a dvd in a box and she just threw it. I really hope there is no damage. As well she asked me to put my return address on, but I didn't want to. Was pretty apprehensive going to this post office after first checking out the reviews. However, I'm very glad I went. The service was fast, polite and efficient. Had the keys to my new PO Box and was out of the door in less than 15 minutes. Granted, this was on a Thursday morning at about 9am, which made the timing good. Unfortunately, in today's world, most people only come to Yelp to complain and rarely to share a good experience especially when it comes to government employees. My regret is that I didn't get the woman's name who served me today, other than on the receipt as "Clerk #12." I recommend you give this office a try and if you DO have a good experience, please share it to keep these numbers fair. Cheers! read more

Most ridiculous irony I've seen yet. Large signs on plexiglass at ever register saying "No Mask-No service" and yet 2 of the 3 employees were not following their own rules. 1 had her masks below her nose and the other had his completely down around his chin! I wanted to take a picture but figured I'd somehow get in trouble Absolutely insulting, as if the employees are superior to the customers. DO I REALLY LOOK LIKE I WANT SOME KIDDIE STAMPS? #TOO GROWN FOR THIS! This is not my preferred location as I am much closer to the Webb Bridge facility. This particular office is akin to a "pick up" only pizza restaurant because it is very small and just does not have the amenities of a much larger station. Today's line extended beyond the inner door. You could walk in and simply drop off items on a designated cart but it was quickly overwhelmed by packages, (before 10am). Also the deposit slots for letters and packages were quickly filling up. Forget about support staff as they were largely absent at this location. During high traffic times at the Webb Bridge station, employees are actively assisting customers and moving the line along. This location certainly needed additional staff emptying bins and directing customers during my visit. Here is what you need to know: If you are purchasing mailing stamps from the machine, there is no way to know what is being dispensed. Today I ended up with the most juvenile Christmas stamps imagined and since I purchased four strips I am stuck with them for a while. I would not want to use these Forever stamps at anytime unless I was five years old and sending Christmas cards to my little friends. I don't know which is worse standing in that line or getting suck with "kiddie" stamps that will last throughout the year! Uggghhh! Dear USPS, Please consider only dispensing standard "dignified" stamps from your machines since customers do not have a choice about what they will receive. I was like QVC never take over 2 weeks to send back and exchange, so I called QVC to see the problem and I just learned the worthless ass post office just scan my return on the 2nd of March. read more

Worst post office I have ever dealt with! I live in an apartment down the street, and since moving there 6 months ago, they have managed to lose 7 packages of ours!! SEVEN!!! Not one or two...seven! Luckily, (if you can call it luck)most of them got put in the wrong mailbox and some kind soul left them on the counter for me to find, but a few of them never made their way to me. I have complained to the office in person and the response is always "we will call you when we have more info" and I have yet to ever receive a call from them. I even asked the carrier himself if he remembers what he did with the package and of course he did not. If I've lost this many packages thanks to the post office, I am sure I am not the only one having this issue. This place sucks! Do better!! read more

This post office is extremely small and typically only has two associates (SLOW associates) working at a time. If you plan to visit over a weekend to mail a package, good luck, because the bins are always overloaded with packages sticking out. It's a shame, since the location is so desirable. I DREAD having to come here and limit my visits as much as possible. I have never spent less than 30 minutes in a line and I've never left there feeling welcomed. The associates are RUDE, they couldn't care less about their customers, and they are SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. During one visit where the line was extremely long, I recall it being my turn and me asking the associate whether I could help speed up the line by doing anything to help him (he was alone). He just smiled and said he was on the clock and didn't really care about going any faster or accommodating anyone. He was on HIS time. I could not believe it. Yesterday I visited again, and I spent over ONE hour in line with only 3 people in front of me when I arrived. One of the associates talks A LOT. I had to witness his conversations with his co worker and a couple of people he knew while he discussed everything from the weather to nonsensical topics. I swear it is my LAST TIME coming here. I always leave feeling frustrated and with a back ache. It's not worth it. Don't they realize that with the internet and other competitors they need to step it up instead of stepping it down??! They have lost packages, I have discovered packages of mine they haven't been scanned, and they just DON'T CARE! Save yourself the trouble and hassle of witnessing lackadaisical attitudes. This branch never has forms or supplies available after hours, even though every other USPS location does- and many are even well stocked. On more than one occasion the self-service machine has been out of order. It is as if they insist on making you deal with their staff personally and only during business hours, which is never not a miserable experience. Important mail goes missing on a regular basis- personal letters from family, debit cards from the bank, etc. For packages set to arrive timely (ie Amazon), the carrier will mark it as delivered when it wasn't, then it will show up the next day (if you call to check status) or days later. This location is a prime example of why USPS is a failed business and needs to be shut down. read more

I know USPS workers are sloooooooooow but this Alpharetta location is the slowest I've been to. The lobby area for after hours needs is poorly stocked and usually a mess. I only give this place 2-stars because after waiting 15-minutes in a line of only two, I was able to get done what I was there to do. At lunch time on the Tuesday before Mothers' Day, this post office was quite crowded. You could tell by the cars jockeying for spots in the parking lot. But they kept the lines moving. All the registers were open, and there was even an employee out front with priority mail tape helping people get their packages in order. I ended up standing in the line for the automated register instead, but I think it would have been just as fast to be in the regular line. Do not bother hand canceling here! I stopped by to hand cancel my wedding invitations. After patiently waiting in line, I asked the lady if I could hand cancel my invitations (myself) so they would not be put through the machine and potentially damaged. She gave me the pressing stamp and I hand canceled all of them on the side before returning them to her. They were ready to be sent out. I happened to see a family member's unopened invitation later that week, and saw it had been put through the machine canceler. Ink was smudged on the outside of the envelope and over our return address. I was so disappointed I wasted my time and a trip here, especially after putting so much effort in my invitations.
