I have to downgrade my review. I have been a very good customer of theirs for over 6 years. I know the owner well and he would say the same thing about me. I called twice and left him a message both times concerning service work on my car that I needed his advice on. When he didn't return my phone calls, I called and talked to his office manager who confirmed that he had received the messages and didn't call me back because he was too busy. The calls that I made were over a week apart and I felt that there was no excuse for him to not return my call. Since I have spent approximately $2-3 thousand dollars there over those six years I find this unacceptable. I don't know why he would act this way but he has lost me as a customer. read more

Azmi has never let me down. I've worked with him for years with my PT Cruiser. He has always been able to fix my problems. He also has worked well with my extended warranty company. I have been able to walk to his shop from my subdivision, which was very convenient. I recently purchased a new car, but I will continue to go to him for oil changes and after the warranty expired for repairs. I trust him. read more

After failing inspection we were told we needed $800 worth of work done so we trusted them and got the work done. It still failed inspection TWICE and Azmi kept giving us the run around because he couldn't find the problem. After bringing the car back not long after the work was done, they discovered that they didn't even change the oil!!! That was one of the MAIN things it needed! Over 6 months and $1,400 later my vehicle is still not fixed after bringing it back a second time. Without a doubt the most shady business I've ever had to deal with. My vehicle is worse off than it was when I initially brought it in. These guys are nothing but scam artists. The staff is rude and can barely even understand english. Im having to cut my losses on this one because these criminals aren't getting another penny from me ever again. Shame on you Unity Auto Repair.. I was a good paying customer. Seems like a lot of auto repair shops in Houston are out to over charge and not do honest work. After taking my vehicle to 3 different auto repair shops, each shop could not change my oil on my truck due to the drain plug being too tight to unscrew. Mckays on barker/cypress wanted to change out the oil pan replace gaskets and oil change for the outrageous price of $700.00. the second and third shops were a complete waste of time and money. Saw a good review about Unity and decided to give them a try. Very kind and professional staff. The mechanic told me to bring my truck in so he could attempt to take the drain plug out. AND BAM!!!! less than 5 minutes he was able to take the drain plug out and change out my oil. saved a bunch of money. i will be taking both my vehicles to Unity Auto Repair. plus their website has printable coupons! read more

I have never left any comment in my life. This will be the first ever comment because I don't want any others to be the fallen victim of this place. I made a mistake bringing my dad's car here. The owner named Azmi, promised a correct repair by putting in another engine and a 1 year warranty for $2,100. Sounds very good right? The problems started when my dad drove the car by my house and I noticed leaking oil on the pavement. Immediately, I brought the car to the shop and the transmission oil was almost gone. Oil was flooding all over. Not sure if the mechanic is certified or not, but spent another $125 for parts and labor to replace couple of hoses. Oil is still flooding, so this time left the car for 3 days and the owner said he replaced the rear main seal and dump some leak repair in the engine. I can not tell him not to do what not, but thought it was a bad idea to put leak repair in the engine after you spent more than $2,200. I had to tell my old man not to drive the car because the severe leak and everything will be destroyed. Good luck calling his shop looking for him because he has too many numbers and they will say he is not there. The most shady, dishonest, unethical this shop is. read more

If I could give Unity Auto 10 stars, I would. I was very upset when my truck (that I LOVE) was hit. A friend of mine told me about this place so I took it there after quotes that I got from other body shops. Azmi, the owner, made me feel very comfortable and I knew I could trust him and his employees. My truck looked brand new when I got her back and could not even tell that it was hit. They did an amazing job on the body work and timing. The customer service was beyond what I expected. I have since used Unity Auto for minor things that I needed to be done on my truck. Azmi and his crew did not try to talk to me into anything I did not need. I rely on their shop now for anything with my truck, including oil changes. I cannot say enough great things about Unity Auto Repair & Tire & Azmi Alwan. The staff is professional and personable and the service is thorough, expedient and affordable. They offer a wide range of services. I have had windshield replacement, oil changes, A/C repair and inspections done here and I have referred friends and family as well. Azmi is a wonderful person- he makes you feel like you are coming home- and very accommodating too. I was working down the street from the shop and needed some repair work done. I have had two (2) great experiences with Unity Auto and staff! My first one was in June 2015. My brakes needed replaced. I took it to another auto shop and they started at $1500 for repairs/work and then "got it down" to $800. That was definitely not even close to what I could afford. Took it to Unity and for $150 the fixed it up and told me the other work that was proposed was maintenance or not needed. They were kind enough to sit with and talk to me about what needed to be done, what order and when! WOW! That is true customer service. My next situation just happened a week ago. All of a sudden my tire wasn't holding air. It was a brand new tire. I didn't learn my lesson the first time so I took it somewhere else. They informed me that my rim had been damaged and needed to be replaced. A new one was very expensive and a used one was still going to be about $100. So I ran over to Unity. Low and behold they were able to fix up the rim and put a sealant on it. Total cost $30!! Both times the staff has been very friendly and helpful! I'm not going anywhere else from here on out. read more
