Unfortunately the location on Park Ave has closed but they've opened up in a new one and should be just as good as before! I really love how easy it is make an appointment, and I will always appreciate them for being able to groom my newly adopted chow chow, no questions asked. He really needed a bath to wash away the dirt and grime of the streets and the shelter, and Unity Bulldogs came through for us. There is always a cute little area for a quick photo shoot with your dogs after their groom, and each month or so has a new theme. It's so cute, and they even give you a certificate that tells you how well your dogs did.
My dog Belle loves it here. She gets her nails trimmed, teeth brushed, ears cleaned and has a bath and blow dry. Everyone is professional and friendly. I especially like the text reminders. You can book online or call. This is in downtown San Jose and they have a parking lot. Very convenient off Highway 280. They have a photography studio too and they will take a photo of dog when you get a spa package. Nice Themes and decor monthly line Hawaii or FIFA soccer etc. Good times!
So glad I found this place! Great prices and excellent service! My Old English Bulldogge fortunately loves baths and has a great time here. For $55 she gets a bath, her nails cut and grinded. They clean her teeth and ears too in this short hair package and takes about an hour. She even gets a pretty pink scarf. You will love this place. They do portraits too!
The best place to take your dog for a grooming spa day. Mario is so friendly and caring for your best friend that you'll feel comfortable knowing that your best friend is in great hands. His team is amazing. Great customer service great people very caring for your pet 200% recommended.
Our morkie, Rabyn, has only gone to Unity Bulldogs for his grooming since he joined our family. Mario has groomed him several times and is a Master Groomer in every sense of the title. All of the staff have been equally as talented. The new facility at 260 E Virginia St San Jose, CA 95112 is a lot bigger, brighter and has parking. We like their cage free approach and our little guy always looks so cute when we bring him home. This is a spa for your dog and they do so much more than what others do. The pricing fits the service.
We've been taking our dog Cash here for over 3 years and couldn't be happier. Cash is always so excited afterward, which says everything about the care he receives. The team is knowledgeable, bilingual, and truly caring -- they always offer helpful suggestions and take the time to address any of our concerns or Cash's specific needs. We love the creative monthly themes and the friendly, attentive staff. On top of that, Mario and his team do amazing work for the San Jose community and other Bay Area cities through animal rescue and activism. Incredible people and groomers -- we'll always be loyal clients.
It was our labradors first time at the groomers and our experience exceeded our expectations! Our lab has really bad environmental skin allergies where he accumulates a stench over time. We decided to take him here and they did an awesome job. He smells amazing, his fur was silky and smooth, and he was overall squeaky clean. The little groomer report card and bandana was the cutest lol. Our lab also usually isn't fond of baths, but the staff were very friendly and said he did great. The price was also very reasonable compared to other groomers. Definitely recommend and will be back for monthly grooming sessions. :)
They always treat my dogs incredibly well. One of my dogs is a rescue with high anxiety, and the team is consistently patient, calm, and understanding with him. It means everything to know he's in good hands. Overall, they are just amazing with my dogs, and I truly trust them. I'm so grateful for the care and attention they give every visit.
Thank you Unity Bulldogs!! We recently adopted a dog about 1.5 months ago and have visited Mario and the team for 2 grooming visits! We were recommended by a friend who spoke very highly of this business. Reviewing their instagram + testimonials, we instantly recognized the passion and professionalism of their business and it shows after booking with them twice so far! They have multiple packages to choose from (we like to have a mini photo shoot for our Sookie) and they do a great job while also being very time efficient! Sookie can be very shy and nervous with new places and people (possibly due to being in the shelter for 5 months) but she always has a smile and a great scent after her appts! We will be returning on a regular basis and I am excited to collect all the pictures from the beautifully decorated photo backdrops throughout the year!
I happened to be walking my dog one day and came across this grooming salon for pets. At the time I was already interested in getting my dog nails trimmed as well as his coat trimmed without a bath and was actively looking for a groomer since I am new to the area. I walked in and asked if they were taking walk-ins and they stated they were not at the moment but asked what I was looking for. I informed the man I did not want a bath just a trim of the body, nails clipping and shaving of private area. The man stated that it would be a short wait and they will be able to take my dog. I waited about 5 minutes and they took my pup and returned him back to me in about 20 minutes. During this time I waited outside on their pink bench. My dog looked great and I would definitely return.
Their customer service is amazing! Moved to San Jose recently, and the staff was very friendly in helping me establish a first appointment. After the bath and grooming, my dog came out looking dashing! More than anything, love that the salon is fun and themed. Makes it an extra fun experience for us owners, and we get the chance to take cute pictures! Also, shoutout to the staff again, who actually helped take the pictures (because my fur baby is bad at posing, haha) and sent them directly to me. Thank you!
We have been bringing our Old English bulldog for several years now and Mario and his staff always give our fur baby the best treatment. They are thorough and always provide us with details of the appointment.

1000/10 everything!!! My friend recommended this place and I am obsessed!! From customer service to my pups grooming, I could not be any happier. I communicate with them via text and they respond back so promptly! I love how they don't cage the dogs while waiting and take their time. The photoshoot add on is so cute too!! read more
Always a pleasure having Yuna groomed at Unity Bulldogs. She's always ready for her photo after her bath. She's usually ready on time, but sometimes I have to wait a little extra despite the 20-30 minute heads up text -- the prior visit I waited about 30-40 minutes and this visit I waited an additional 10 minutes. I think that her undercoat is misleading so harder to gauge how much longer (from what I gathered, most other bassets in our area have don't have an undercoat like her). read more

I really love how fast the service is here... My doggie has a specific shampoo she uses at home so no need for full bath, so I was looking for a groomer who would do a la carte services such as nail clipping and buffing. They offer $25 nail clipping which is very convenient. read more

This is Kovu he loves it here each time we come he comes out happy and full of energy ready to show off his fresh fur cut compared to other grooming places where he's come out sad and filled with anxiety. I have been going to Unity for over a year now and we love this place, grooming always come out amazing, fragrance is lovely, they always have themes to go along with the month and season and they are all so kind to My Fur baby. This is my dog Benny, and I had adopted him 2 weeks before this grooming appointment. I was feeling really anxious since I wasn't sure how he reacts to groomers/ being groomed. I checked on Google and found Unity Bulldogs. Reviews were great and price on the packages convinced me. They go into detail on what they will use/ do to your pet. I booked him for the following day :) My appointment was at 3:30 but I arrived 3:20. They only accept one dog family at a time inside the establishment. I think that's pretty awesome. Right at 3:30 an employee greeted us and answered each one of my worries. She was really understanding and reassuring. She also let me know what the process will be like for Benny step by step. Then they took him in and let me know they would be in contact. I went to an appointment of mine and received a message once he was ready. My appointment wasn't don't yet so my partner picked him up. Knowing that I didn't come to pick him up with my partner, they sent me pictures & updates . I know this was a long review, but places like this deserve all the shoutouts. read more

We brought our goldendoodle to Unity Bulldogs for a full grooming experience and it was great! The interior is always beautifully decorated for the season and all the staff members we met were friendly and attentive. Mario was our groomer and he did a fantastic job! He was very knowledgeable, kind, and understanding with our dog as our dog always hates going to the groomer. He provided tips and advice as well as recommendations on taking care and maintaining our dog's coat. We will definitely be coming back in the future and would highly recommend Mario! read more

LOVE Jessica! She made our Penelope feel like a real princess. It was Penelope's very first Grooming session. She's a 5 month old German Shepherd Poodle, and has that doodle hair.
