I am writing this review specifically to warn other women, because what I experienced at Universal Day Spa & Massage was extremely inappropriate, unsettling, and unsafe. I came in yesterday around 2:30 PM for a scheduled massage. The business appeared normal at first -- I checked in with an Asian woman at the front desk, filled out the pressure/preferences form, and was taken back to the massage room. The massage began with the same woman who checked me in. Everything seemed typical for the first few minutes. However, about 15 minutes into the session, the woman abruptly left the room without warning. While I was undressed on the massage table, an unknown adult male entered the room and took over the massage. I want to be very clear: I was never told this would happen and I never gave consent for a man to enter the room or perform the massage. I was face down on the table and had no idea who had walked in. I did not even see him until later when I was turned over. The man did not appear to be a licensed massage therapist. He was wearing business attire -- dress slacks, a button-down shirt, and brown dress shoes -- not professional massage clothing. He also wore strong cologne. The massage itself did not match what I requested (I asked for deep tissue) and instead felt like inappropriate rubbing/caressing rather than therapeutic massage work. When I turned over, I was shocked to realize I was completely exposed while this man stood over me fully dressed. I felt extremely uncomfortable and confused, but also scared to abruptly leave in the moment. At the end of the session, while I was still naked on the table, the man asked if I wanted to go next door for a drink. This was completely unacceptable and inappropriate behavior in any professional setting. What made the situation even worse is that after the massage ended, I waited inside because I did not feel safe leaving. When I finally walked out, the man was still outside in the parking lot near his vehicle, watching and smiling. He appeared to leave in an older blue Corvette, which made the entire situation feel even more disturbing, like he may not even be a legitimate employee there. This experience felt predatory and violating. No woman should ever have a male enter her massage session without explicit consent, and no client should ever be solicited or made to feel unsafe afterward. I strongly urge other women to avoid this business. read more

Hidden gem! Red eye flight from LA to Orlando was brutal, but this place opened early so it was perfect after breakfast. They were able to accommodate us before our appt time. Mark is THE BEST! The communication was very poor, not attentive and I don't know where they got all these fake reviews to be a five star review is absolutely a shame that companies can buy reviews then you come in and spend your money here and get the type of experience that I received here. Do Not Go Here. They immediately try to upsell you, they make you pay upfront and ask for tips ahead of time. They didn't want me to pay with a credit card so I used Venmo and they said not to write massage as the reason for payment. what?!? I should have left then but I stayed, my massuese didn't ask any questions about if anything was hurting or confirm what we were doing -- I have never encountered that. Then she roughly started pressing on my neck and then started moving my underwear. I got up and left. Had some time to kill before work this evening, so I indulged in a deep tissue massage. Couldn't have been happier with the experience. Was paired up with a lovely, and well trained masseuse name Maria. I'm so happy I decided to treat myself today. Maria is such a kind and nurturing soul. Worst massage place EVER. This place overcharges and the masseuse are extremely unprofessional and untrained. By far the worst massage we've experienced. Me and my sister came here with our daughters and all of our massages are awful. Hands are very rough, one of the masseuses nails are too long it kept on scratching my daughter. One of them kept talking the whole entire massage and kept going in and out of the room which took out more than 15 minutes out of the massage time. It was supposed to be a full body massage along with foot reflexology, and hot stone and they spent about 5 minutes on the foot reflexology and hot stone. read more

After 3 long days at universal studio. We were looking for a good feet massage. After reading the reviews and chose this place thinking it's the best choice. We were wrong. Don't come here!!!! Over price... $90 for 1 hour feet massage with no feet soaking before massage. Didn't even get our full 1hr. Very unprofessional and it hurt, on my part. My husband said the lady did his was inexperienced and the owner (I think) did my cousin was mean she said. We should have left the minute she put us in a room with a massage bed instead of a laying down chairs. I don't think this place do feetbut I thought I gave them a chance. Very warm friendly attentive staff. Had an excellent massage. Clean following 6 ft mask rules upon entering. A little difficult to follow 6 ft rule while giving massage but mask were worn. Two different massage therapist one for the first half & different for second portion both were as equally professional & did outstanding.
