They were closed both times I called, and the person that answered the phone was not able to help or access my patient chart. The first time was a Monday, when they are always closed (which is fine), but when I called back on a Wednesday, the person answering the phone told me that were also closed due to having no patients that day. I've never seen a dentist office closed two days in one week with nobody available to even give you information. If it had been something urgent, this would've been unacceptable.

They took my mom back for X-rays and told us they would come get me afterward, but they forgot until my mom reminded them. Then we found out their regular X-ray machine wasn't working, so they had to take the X-rays manually while she was sitting in the dental chair. After the dentist examined my mom, she told us my mom could keep her crown and that they would remove the temporary filling and place a permanent composite filling that same day. I specifically asked if they could do it that day, and the dentist said yes. She and her assistant left, and we waited...and waited. Eventually, a technician came in to discuss antibiotics and confirmed they were still going to do the composite filling. She said she would get the dentist. We waited even longer. Then another staff member walked by and told us we were free to leave. I explained that we had been told my mom would be getting her permanent filling that day, so we continued waiting. A short time later, the office manager came in and asked if we wanted to schedule an appointment for Monday because they could not do the filling that day. I explained that the dentist had specifically told us it would be done today. The office manager responded that the dentist doesn't manage the schedule--she does--and that there was no availability. My question was simple: if that was the case, why were we told to wait? What disappointed me the most wasn't that they couldn't fit us in--it was the complete lack of communication and accountability. At no point did the office manager apologize for the confusion, the miscommunication, or for keeping us waiting. Instead, she repeatedly talked over me and simply offered us an appointment for Monday. My mom decided we'd rather go somewhere else, and the response was basically, "You have every right to." Unfortunately, this isn't our first disappointing experience with Ideal Dental. We've received different information from different locations, and I was even sold a dental plan that I haven't been able to use, which has been a waste of money. This experience only reinforced why we choose a private dental practice: clear communication, accountability, and respect for our time. We'll be going back to the dentist we've trusted for years, and I would strongly recommend choosing a private practice over Ideal Dental. I just let them fix the cavities, so they did the filling in the following week, but the fillings totally failed, I have experienced tooth pain while eating very soft food like veggies, and cold sensitivities for all the teeth done fillings with them, while I didn't have any issues with my any teeth before the fillings done, what's even worse is that the gap in between the teeth is to small and the floss string can't get in, I complaint those issues with Dr. Vazquez and went there for the second visit, she then asked me to bite on a paper with blue and red color and adjusted my bite on one teeth not the other two adjacent teeth and tried to open the gap in between, but because the gap is too small and she didn't check the gap after the filling, it ends up to hurt my teeth with lots of blood, she cheated me to say if things don't go better, I want you to come back. I came back a week later and complained about my tooth pain issues and she started to adjust the bite on that two teeth but still not able to open the gap, so she offered to redo the fillings. There is no reason I should do any filling with such a disqualified dentist that never check bite after filling or the gaps in between the teeth with simple floss, also not mixing the material well that caused sensitivity to me, I asked for the refund for the money I paid to their office so that I can pay out of my pocked to get it fixed in another more qualified dentist, they told me they need to ask their manager but I never got reply.

One filling also seems to be too high or poorly shaped, making it impossible for him to floss between the affected teeth. He returned to the clinic two more times to have the issue corrected, but the pain has still not been resolved. We were also concerned that his bite did not seem to be checked carefully after each filling or adjustment. Dr. Diana later suggested that the fillings might need to be redone. After multiple appointments for the same unresolved problem, this has been frustrating and very time-consuming. My friend requested a refund, but the clinic has continued to delay the process without providing a clear resolution. We hope Soleil Dental will address this matter promptly and fairly. This may violate Texas dental standards of care under 22 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 108, and could support a dental negligence claim under Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code, Chapter 74. Any misleading billing or refund practices may also raise concerns under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Texas Business and Commerce Code §17.46.

I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient because of some pain I was having and got a spot about 4 weeks later. However, less than a week after that call, they found an earlier appointment for me, so I ended up being seen less than a week after the appointment request. The office is very inviting. Everything appears to be very well organized and professional. The ladies at the front desk are very friendly, and have been in a good mood every time I have been in. The whole place is decorated with warm and inviting autumn colors. Very relaxing. The hygienist was very friendly and professional. They were all in a good mood as well. Despite the fact that I hadn't been to the dentist in over 5 years, I was very comfortable the whole time. The chairs have massage pad things and there is a TV with beach scenes, or an aquarium, or something similar. After the cleaning and x-rays Dr. Sherrill came in. He was very professional. He is soft spoken and friendly, yet not so friendly that he wastes your time. They are very efficient and really don't waste time in your day. I had to go back twice to fill cavities. For such procedures, you're offered many comforts: sound proof headphones with satellite radio (or you can plug in your iPod as I did), massaging chair, and nitrous oxide a.k.a. the gas. The assistant is very friendly and remembered me the second time. The first time I didn't opt for the gas. The second time I did. While the second was obviously much better (how can you not love the gas?), the first certainly was not a bad experience even with my phobias. Both times they were very quick and efficient, yet took the time to ask me if I was okay and make sure I was still comfortable. The first time when I wasn't zonked by the gas, he was talking about what he was doing the whole time, which was very comforting. My hubby who is not afraid of dentists or needles went in for one single filling and didn't even notice when Dr. Sherrill stuck the needle in. I didn't realize I had signed saying I knew about this I thought I had signed for the financial responsibility for that particular service I got that day (that's my fault) but after being a patient for over 20 years I believe I shouldn't pay that when I only wanted to reschedule due to an emergency.
