Went through the car wash. Man guided me to the far right when entering wash. I thought my passenger window was going to break! The drivers side was barely touched. Upon leaving, vac'd my car. Passenger side looked fabulous the drivers not so much. Pulled back around and asked to run through again. He told me it looked like that because I "neglect" my car. Mind you I go through every Friday and today it was even raining when I did. I asked "Seriously?" He said if you want it ran again you have to pay again. Staff is always friendly and responsive, they go over and above to assist. Wish they were open later during the week due to my working hours but I can sometimes go during lunch because the service is quick and reliable. Comfortable atmosphere to wait and the best part, you dont have to deal with all the up-selling you get at places like Tire Kingdom, Jiffy Lube, etc... The service is so good that even though the price of an oil change is a little higher, its worth every penny!!! If you live in the LWR or North Sarasota area, its a must! read more

I should of listened to the reviews posted that I previously read. It was a slow day so no reason to to properly vacuum my car which they de did after I inspected it. Now watch your car actually go through the wash itself it's extremely sad. It looks broken. Stuff doesn't move and if it does it doesn't even touch your car...I don't recommend and will not be going back ever. Inspect what you expect people!! read more

As an update, my wife used the free wash I was given. It was mediocre at best and took over an hour...which if they were busy is ok...but they they only had one car ahead of her. Vacuuming was barely done, Windows were half a**...it just seems to be the culture of this wash...two visits, two poor experiences. I'll be getting our vehicles washed elsewhere. read more

I've been to this shop several times in last 2 years. Each time Ive had to request the crew to clean areas of the car that the automatic brushes miss on my SUV. They still didn't get at the areas I pointed out. The last time I asked the crew to clean simple light mud (not heavily packed) from wheel wells that was not reached by the sprayer. It required someone with a spray wand-scrubber (they have them there) to clean it by hand. It still was not done. I complained to the manager in his office but he could care less. He did nothing about my complaint and let me walk. Will never be back there. Strongly advise going elsewhere especially if you have an SUV or if you care about proper service. read more

First time to use this place.. will not go back.... Someone cracked my interior rear view mirror... & of course NO ONE will own up to it. I spent $ 27.00 & then tipped help & now I have to go & pay for a new mirror.... If I could give a zero star rating I would. My girlfriend took her car for a quick oil change and general check up so she could safely make the 3 hour drive home for Easter. When she brought the car home I took a quick look around and two of her tires were very low on air. I looked at her receipt and apparently they "checked" and "filled" the tires with air. It's blatantly obvious that they didn't even look at the tires. Now I'm skeptical if they even changed the oil, and I can confidently say they didn't look at the rest of their "checklist" either. This place is flat out awful. I came for a car wash yesterday, and while waiting for it to go thru the mechanical wash, I noticed that a good portion of the equipment was not even working. Then I noticed the workers basically trying to wash down a good portion of the vehicle before running it thru the car was. Then it started to rain and I was told me vehicle would not be finished and I would have to come back tomorrow. So, brought it back today and had them run it thru again. It took close to an hour!! They only had two people working on wiping down the vehicles etc. They completed the outside of the vehicle and told me it was ready. Got in the vehicle and the inside was never wiped down, etc. This place needs new ownership; very poorly managed!!! read more

Here's an example of a money gouge 101. I pull in and expect to get my car washed and was greeted by a very friendly young lady. We decided on what level of wash I needed and agreed . She then told me that there was a $6 bug removal on top of the price. Of coarse I said what?? I had minimal lovebugs on the car, because I cleaned them off two days before. She explained her boss told her to relay this to the customer. WAIT, do they charge more if my car is dirty?? I politely said thanks but no thanks. I've lived in this county for 45 years . You know, for 19.00 I do expect that the car wash would include cleaning the leather seats with a spray cleaner and a towel... Nope... that's extra. Not real thrilled. The car comes out clean, but they don't do a very good job of the details, like interior window cleaning, wiping the fingerprints off the gps screen, etc... I'd expect this of a car was for say, ten bucks... but when you get up to almost 20 bucks, I expect the extras. read more

I have had my oil changed at University Auto Spa several times. Usually it was the same guy who handled it. This time however was a new guy and are you all of a sudden they had oil going everywhere from under my car. It turns out that he Miss identified the engine I have and put in too much oil you have the wrong oil filter. The cleanup of my garage is the underside of my engine is going to be quite expensive. Proceed with caution!!! Don't go here, I was quoted a price for an oil change and car wash, when I went to cashier to pay bill, I was being charged an additional $29. I brought this to the cashiers attention, she got a guy named Steve. I explained it wasn't right that I get charged more than I was quoted for agreed upon service. Very poor car wash. Just took my car in today (paid $24.56 total) and once I got home realized bug debris was still stuck all over the front bumper, hood and side mirrors. One splatter was the size of a small bird! Also lower windshield under wipers was crusted over in grime- never touched by car wash or staff. This place is little more than a machine wash with vacuum and wipe down. No quality control. If you want tire shine that wash will cost $23-$24 plus tax. Just moved here from Atlanta and that price would get you a thorough hand wash. I'll be looking for a better car wash now that I'm here in SRQ. read more

I asked the desk clerk if checking fluids, tire pressure is part of the program. He said yes. I mentioned that the guy must have completed the tasks when I was walking around the corner to my Jeep----in other words, fast. The desk clerk was unresponsive. I am returning to the Jeep dealer. Besides, the dealer is cheaper and gives away a car wash. I had to get a fast oil change---in and out within 30 minutes---the business only value. read more

The only reason that this company is getting a second star is because the car came out remotely clean. I paid for the second to the best car wash for $25 and I thought it was a little steep for the service that was included (vacuum, wash, interior wiped down, spray wax, wheel cleaner, tire shine, and fragrance). It literally took 45 minutes to get the car through the automatic machines, vacuumed, and wiped down. There was towel residue all over the exterior windows and they only did half the dashboard. You could still see dust on the dashboard and all the smudge marks from before it went through the treatment. Since I paid for a scent, I asked what scent they sprayed and the guy candidly replied, "nothing." I told him I paid for it, so it soaked the car with leather scent and sent me on my way. I choked on the fragrance for about 5 minutes before finally opening a window because my eyes were bleeding. Overpriced, takes a long time, and the job and service were crappy. read more

They did offer to switch out the oil after I complained, but still for a $40 oil change there are so many other places that offer more benefits with their package for the same price. Went for the first time this morning for an oil change and a car wash. When I pulled up, they were currently working on one car in front of me. After 50 minutes, I asked how much longer it would be and was told that they had just finished the oil change and were ready to start vacuuming my car. 15 minutes later after I still had not seen my car go through the wash, I told the girl that I was ready to leave. She checked on my car again and told me that it was ready to go through the wash and she would let the guys know to clean my car before any others. (She was very nice and apologetic.). As I was waiting, a man came in from the oil change side and told the girl at the front loudly enough for me to hear and with plenty of attitude, "sometimes there is a wait!" Shortly after, another man came in to tell me that my car was done and he apologized for the wait. He also gave me a coupon for a free wash at my next visit. I suppose the reason for my crappy car wash was that they were trying to hurry up and get me out of there. It looked like the inside hadn't been vacuumed at all and maybe someone had taken a quick dry cloth to wipe it as fast as possible. Total wait time 1 hour and 20 minutes. Never go there! I go there to get my car washed to get a few bugs off and get the $35 wash. The kid says you want the bugs off? I respond "Yes" confused. He says it's gonna be $10 extra. What? I'm at the car wash getting a $35 wash! I said nope, just give me the $15 wash now. I go in to pay and my receipt says reg wash - no bugs, the nasty rude older lady who goes out of her way to be nasty says, "no bugs" what's that mean...... I said, I don't know your guy wrote it! I went to that place one other time to get an oil change...... the oil filters ring broke and all my oil ran out. The guy said that the parts they use are old and sometimes dry rot! Don't go there, bad oil changes, bad car washes, with obviously employees trying to make a few extra bucks off gimmicks. The elderly front desk lady is the worst! We had a great experience this time. They did a good job in the car. Had the works plus hand wax. The waiting room chairs are uncomfortable to say the least. Took about 30 minutes for everything which is what they told us. The last time we were here they did a lousy job. Gave them another chance and they redeemed themselves. Please get a more comfortable setup in the waiting area. A couple couches never hurt anybody. read more

If you want your car free of scratches, lint and perhaps underneath damage, stay away from this antiquated carwash. First , It is not a brushless carwash and uses old machinery. People who go there over a period of time will see their cars being marked up and not very clean. I think people go there because it is convenient for them. Secondly it is way overpriced. You are paying for the use of old equipment (outdated) and a terrible cash wash. I've seen folks with high end cars go through there. Prior to my visit I had surface cleaned most of the car since I am about to return this leased vehicle. I specifically asked for the interior to be vacuumed (it was entirely empty of all articles). Thanks to Derek, who re did what the original crew failed to do ( vacuum!) . Once home I realized that the bottoms of the interior doors were filthy, so I had to clean them....no special rags or products needed; only the willingness to bend over and wipe....I'm not a happy camper. read more
