Horrible experience! I place an order close to closing and it gets delivered. When i open my order im completely missing a salad! So i call and they're already closed. I call the following morning and advise them of what happened and the person that answered the phone pretty much called me a liar saying theirs no way i didnt get the order ... seriously? Than tells me he needs to check with the driver about the salad and if the driver messed up he will give me a free salad on FRIDAY ... yea some wonderful customer service! My family and I have ordered from University Pizza several times in the past. The food is usually good and they deliver quickly. As of this past Saturday, we will never order from them again. The man on the phone REFUSED to tell me how much my order was until I gave him my credit card number. He was EXTREMELY RUDE and told me "JUST GIVE ME THE CARD NUMBER THEN I'LL TELL YOU WHAT YOU OWE!" He cut me off when I questioned why he couldn't give me the total and repeated himself. He then told me he didn't have time for this and that they had customers, so just give him the card number. Stumbled upon this pizza joint after placing an order with a different place that used to be there and had moved. Stroke of luck! Always on the lookout for good pizza and delivery. These guys know what they are doing with a pizza oven. The South side of Framingham is lacking, in my humble opinion, an array of GOOD pizza places. I have had OK pizza at a few, but other than Gianni's (too far from us - North side) I have been unimpressed with Framingham offerings. University was a pleasant surprise. Doesn't take long to get delivery, if you ask for "well done" it comes that way, tasty sauce, and really nice crust. Only downsides: its a bit pricier than your average pizza place, and the location - having to cross Rt 9 at Edgell is a pain in the butt at peak traffic hours. All things considered, I'll fight the traffic and pay a few bucks more for a good za. read more

Wow, if I had read some of the reviews before coming here, I'm not sure I'd stop in. It's a nice little standard Greek pizza place. We like Greek pizza, so no complaints there. Menu is fairly extensive and you can probably find something you like between pizza, subs and wraps and pasta dinners. We had the pizza, steak and cheese sub and Greek salad. All were good although the Greek salad could have used more olives (only had 2). Pita bread was nice and soft which is rare. Steady stream of customers coming in and calling so it must be a favorite to some locals. Has outside seating too. Service was good, place was clean....not sure what else you can ask for. read more

Horrible - I am sure if it weren't for the tons of starving students across the street who don't have a lot of affordable delivery choices this place would be gone. Ordered for delivery and was told it "could be an hour" due to being busy. No problem. Food shows up over 90 minutes later, ice cold. Not "not hot" but COLD. Pizza was awful, about 1/4" thick, no alfredo sauce to be tasted, broccoli raw and falling off, they use that gross hard preformed crust. Burger ordered specifically without cheese due to allergy - came with......yup....cheese (even though order receipt was correct). French fries, when dumped out onto plate, came out in a solid clump, totally soggy and cold. When I called I was told "next time" I would get my order free. When I said I wasn't sure I would order again the owner told me that was my choice and if I didn't want to order again I wouldn't "get any free food" (??????????). So not worth it - next time we will have toast or cereal. read more

As a college student across the street, this place is awesome. Prices are good for the sizes. The reason for the 5 stars is really the hours. Open till 1 on weeknights and midnight on Saturdays. I've only had their pizza and eggplant parm and it's always been delicious! The only downside is their 15 dollar minimum for credit cards/debit cards. They do take ramcash though so for FSU students its easy to avoid that issue. read more

Bad experience. Owner wouldn't honor his commitment to a raffle winner. Was willing to give it a try, but I'm never going back. Owner wouldn't listen to customer's side of the story. The customer won 3 pizzas from a Catholic School Golf Event. The coupon was a signed menu by the owner stating 3 large pizzas. The customer bought a large and a small and was willing to give the owner a break by using one of the large pizza vouchers for the small. Owner was quite belligerent. I was willing to give the place a try as most pizza places in Ashland serve the same Greek Pizza which I think is terrible. But, after this I'll never go back. Great pizza. Their white pizza is extremely delicious. I am surprised by the other bad reviews. NO matter what others say, this pizza joint is here to stay. There is also an ice cream shop near by. The pizza place is a little secluded as it breaks away from the route 9 road. It has an updated modern interiors. Clean bathrooms, Mom and pop joint. So give them a break. It aint your commercial kind of pizza joint which will honor all sorts of coupons and deals. Rate the pizza based on taste, freshness and service which are all five stars. read more

I had a grilled chicken parm sub with peppers and mushrooms. It was tasty although the bread was a little mushy. I'd get it again however.

Ordered a chicken finger sub and a chicken cutlet sub (which says it comes with red sauce and cheese but apparently you have to ASK for it, even though it's literally stated on the menu that it comes with both). Neither one of the subs was prepared correctly. I called the business to ask about fixing the food and the woman who answered immediately jumped down my throat and told me I was wrong and it wasn't their fault. She was extremely rude, offered no solution to the problem and took no ownership of messing up my order. Save yourself a headache and do not order from this place, they're absolute garbage and so is the food. read more

We ordered for pick-up on a lunch break. Was almost hung up on when the guy thought I was done with my order but had to tell him, "wait...I have more to order". I got there and paid, but I was given 1/4 of my order only. When I got to my car, I realized the bag was light and I looked....our sandwiches were missing. So I went back in, got the sandwiches..no big deal; a kid behind the counter trying his best, ya know? Got back to work, took a bite of my RB sub and not only was there no mayo like I had asked for...but the roast beef was completely rotten. I opened the sandwich and the RB was creamy white pale-looking. It was so rotten that I had to throw the whole sandwich out for fear of getting sick. I couldn't go back because I was on lunch but I'm now back at work. I really hope I don't get sick, but if I do, I will know what it's from. My suggestion would be to not go to this place because its a public health concern; considering the rotten meat. This has nothing to do with the cashier....it has to do with poor ethics, management, and staff training. So, to the owner......shape up or youll most likely close down from one matter or another. read more

Ordered a white alfredo pizza with chicken, bacon and broccoli here using the GrubHub app for pick up. Picked up the pizza and it was made with red sauce. I called back to let them know about the mistake to see if I could get my proper order and ended up being screamed at over the phone by a man with an accent. He told me that I did not specify white sauce, however i ordered it directly from GrubHub under the white pizza option... He then yelled at me and told me not to use GrubHub repeatedly while I tried to explain myself. Not quite sure why they have GrubHub as an option when they don't want their customers to use it. I am a regular customer at University Pizza and have always been very satisfied with the quality and taste of the food. I think that the white pizza with vegetable toppings is awesome. Likewise the pasta dishes are good and their broccoli, spinach, and onion calzone is fantastic. It is filled with fresh broccoli and extremely tasty. Poor overall. Asked them to make a simple salad. I get it you have pre-made ones but it isn't that difficult to through lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and chicken in a box. I'm allergic to dairy so after leaving and then finding out it had cheese on it I tossed it in the trash. The older guy who took my order came over very agitated that I asked him to make me what I wanted. The woman behind the counter wasn't too nice either. Pushing me off the counter as I was waiting to pay. A waste of time and money. Unfortunately I work long shifts in EMS and don't always get to stop for food so at least when I stopped here it was a complete waste of my time/money. I was there today with my whole family. A small cheese pizza, turkey club(toasted of course) and a chix ceasar salad, all in under 10 minutes. It was the middle of the lunch rush, so you can't say they were not busy. Food was excellent, service was fast and friendly. The new place is bright and clean. We all can not wait to go back again. One last thing, if the police trust them to make their food(and most of them eat there) I think I can trust them too. If your looking for something in under sixty seconds, stay in your office and have a hotpocket. If you want fresh food, prepared by nice people go here. read more

Ordered delivery from this restaurant about a month and a half ago. Placed our order and was told the driver will call you back with the cost and an eta. Thought this was extremely unusual that the delivery driver would be communicating this, but will go with it. Half hour later , still didn't hear anything. Called and was told "the driver just left to bring your food". Half hour later, called again because still no call or show. This time they asked what our address was and said that they tried calling but no answer. At this point I verified that the number they called wasn't even close to the number we left for contact. After asking for the manager I was put on the phone with the delivery driver. When I realized this was not the manager, I asked to speak with him. Finally the manager got on the phone. I explained the situation to him and he said they were very busy and that our food had been ready for awhile but when we didn't answer the phone(not our number) they didn't send the driver out. He asked if we still wanted the order and he would not charge us because of the problem. Reluctantly I agreed, because at this point I was starving. Twenty minutes later the driver arrived. Keep in mind, we live within 5 minutes walking distance from them. We just were too tired to go there, so we relied on the delivery service. The driver arrived with the originally cooked food that had now been sitting on their counter for an hour. The food was cold and of poor quality. We will never, ever, order any food from them again. We wanted to give the new business an opportunity, but the food was terrible. Also, I can't understand their policy of not giving you an estimated delivery time and the food cost. To just let the customer know that at some point in the (hopefully) near future, our driver will call with that information, is absolutely absurd. Please save your money and appetite and go to the other restaurants that understand customer service and offer quality food. read more
