Very user friendly! Very helpful staff! The staff clean each tub before the next dog uses it...And our dog was MUDDY!!! They raised their price to $12 per dog - which is still the best price in town. This location is having trouble changing their price on the outdoor sign so they charged us the old price of $10. I wish Petco's corporate office could intervene in this situation. I think $12 is a bargain but the staff is getting the run around from the building's owner to update their pricing. This location is always clean and well staffed! read more

The staff here have always been friendly and helpful to me, but today was especially nice. My cashier (I didn't catch her name, but she had short hair with blue in it) was kind enough to give me a reusable bag with handles when I told her I was walking home and I had other cumbersome things to carry. I am so impressed with Unleashed every time I go there. The customer service is outstanding! I like that I can refill my cat litter container and they always offer to carry it out to my car for me. I've never had an issue returning a product and when I returned some cat shampoo, the employee was genuinely interested in why it didn't work out. read more

I had a great experience at Unleashed! The girl who worked there, I think her name was Samantha, was so very helpful! Im definitely going to be going back there every month to wash Moose! Samantha helped me with the right "furminator" brush to get and she basically bent over backwards with checking on how I was doing and answering any questions I had. Great, great experience! Plus washing your dog at home vs. paying only $10 for a tub, shampoo, conditioner, a dryer (if you use that), brushes and they clean up is such a good deal!! read more

I came in for the self-service dog washing and i gotta tell you the service was great. This young lady Amanda helped me out with getting my dirty dogs cleaned and calm and smelling great. No need to bring your own grooming tools and soaps, they have it there along with other nifty doggy pampering items. My dogs are not too fond of getting baths, so this was a great experience for me. The "friendly" staff at this store followed me around in the most insulting way. Literally every time i looked up, this brunette woman in her late 30s or so was pretending to read a label slightly down the isle, straightening something, or just blatantly staring. At one point, I saw her on one end of the isle watching me, to look back at the cat toys, and looked up to see that she had made a lap and was now at the other end of the isle watching me. As soon as we entered the store, my group and I were asked if we needed any help. The two staff members, Abe and Amanda were so great to give us recommendations on different items we were looking for. The store has so many great selections and an area to bathe your dog for $10!! Amanda was so sweet to my sisters two huskies! She asked if she could give them treats and they loved it! We spent some time talking about how Oregon was so dog friendly and how many of the animals in local humane societies came from Los Angeles. Thank you for a pleasant experience!! My go to for a dog wash. $10 a wash. Includes shampoo, brush, towels and a dryer. It is do it yourself. Staff is always helping. Can accommodate large and small dogs. I wash my 70+ lab. I use my own shampoo because I love the smell. I've only had to wait once and it was for less than 5 mins. They have 3 washing stations. read more

We took our two babies here after a messy fun time at the dog park. They desperately needed a bath, being all matted and slobbered on at the park. There was a young woman here with colorful hair who was particularly helpful though the whole staff was awesome! My little man is scared of baths and jumped out of the tub and made a break for the front door when she blocked him and petted him to calm him down. She helped me get him back in the tub with some treats and get him strapped in so I could finally bathe him and we got him clean. They had shampoo, conditioner, plenty of towels, warm water, scrubby brushes and even blow dryers! At the end of the bath we got to roam around to find our pups a toy and the cashier promised she would let us return it if it didn't hold up with their chewing which I thought was very generous! Both my pets are happy and clean and the service here could not have been better! Highly recommend! read more

Walked in pumped, walked out disappointed as hell. 10 bucks is a good price to wash your dog. Let's get that straight. What's the epitome of bad customer service though is only having kitten shampoo available to use on your large dog. Any other dog washing place has at the very least, an assortment of shampoos to use. I asked for a dog shampoo and they said the only times hey have anything else is when a customer left some behind. This is freaking PETCO!!! They refused to just open up a bottle of the many, many, many shampoos available to them at wholesale price. I washed the damn dog, who is still itchy because kitten shampoo doesn't do anything. It was diluted as hell to boot. Finally I was gonna get Roscoe a new tag. They wanted 14 dollars for a basic. I went to Fred Meyers and got one for 5. You guys suck! You could have had a customer. Now I'm gonna tell all my friends to never go there. I don't even write many reviews. I have literally been coming here every week or two for years now to bathe my 70 pound dog (without having to bust my back at home with a crappy drier) ... And for the first time today, I was told that "new corporate policy" says that I can't use the grooming tables to dry my dog. He weighs too much. Seriously?! It's worked just fine up until now ... And so has the 10+ year old one that I have at home, which is mysteriously built the same way. Meanwhile, I have personally watched much larger, less well behaved dogs uses said tables with no issue either. Hmm. Looks like I just saved myself $40 bucks a month to stay at home. the guy with red hair is extremely rude and has poor customer service skills. it was 6:00 on my watch but because it was 6:02 on his, no dog wash available. are you serious? and the way he told me, like "who do you think you are coming in here to wash your dog". ugh. there are other folks who work there who actually are very kind and helpful, but not this guy. they just lost my business, too bad too since I spend over $100/month there on dog washes alone. read more

Took my very water-wary and dirty dog here for a bath. I was a little nervous - baths have been attempted at home before and have ended in an unsuccessful mess. Dog was not impressed but I was. It was a breeze! I was especially thankful for the lower tub/sink that I was able to have him effortlessly hop into - there are higher sinks but he's not much of a jumper and he's too heavy for me to lift. I brought my own shampoo not realizing that they supply it for you (along with conditioner and endless towels and treats!). Got him washed, rinsed, and quickly brushed easily. Did not attempt to use the drying station (it's a sunny day anyway), but there was a good selection of brushes available and it looked easy to use. The employees were very friendly and took us into the wash area and showed me how everything worked. And all for $10! The only negative thing I noticed was that the process was very loud, as another review pointed out. The tub/sinks are all metal but do have rubber mats in them to prevent slipping, and the doors to the tubs are all metal and thus noisy. I don't know if it could be helped, though. read more

Sad to say that the trend of worsening service here is something we experienced today. Came as we usually do for the self-serve dog wash....the area was caked with dog fur and the floors were so wet it was a safety hazard. Sought out an employee to get help with cleanup but the older lady (blond with bangs & a topknot and glasses) I found at the front looked like she was trying to get away when I asked for help, then brought a young male employee to do the dirty work. She then proceeded to tell me that the hair on the drying table didn't matter as my dog was too large to put up there...I pointed out that the mat on the floor where my dog would stand was also dirty with lots of fur. No apology, just glared at us and then spent several minutes whispering into the ear of the other employee who was cleaning...perhaps she was coaching him on how set to scold us next?? Writing this review sadly so that management can see where their problems are and hopefully rectify this. read more

Stopped into one of these stores a few months back because I was out of dog food. Way overpriced. Then, last weekend, I was shopping at a local farmers market and the Unleashed folks were handing out "dog" toys as a come on to visit the new store that was opening. The dog toys: a "tennis" ball and a "frisbee". My Wheaten destroyed the ball in 5 minutes reducing it to shredded foam and small black pieces of something that looked like rubber. Lord knows how many pieces he ingested. Next, the "frisbee" was likewise destroyed in minutes and torn into shreds that were also, no doubt ingested. Yes, he's a dog with an iron stomach and no harm done to him but I have to wonder about a "dog" store that is handing out "dog" toys that are not only suspect for the dog but also pretty darned damaging to the environment. Why hand out junk? Anyway, a long story to say I will avoid these "dog" stores for price as well as not wanting to do business with knuckle. heads read more
