Hungry man, hungry kids... Xl large thin crust sausage, pepperoni, mushroom and black olives. Two kids pizzas with apple juice. Caesar salad. Sat on patio a little sun and few bees not a deterrent... The thin crust pizza is not "Milwaukee" style so you are not going to get a thin crispy crust, it's Chicago style just thin so in other words thin not stuffed. Sauce was okay, good amount of cheese and meats. The mushrooms were fresh not canned which was a nice perk. My guy didn't care for his salad but he is really more a blue cheese person... The service was excellent!!!! Our server Nathaniel went out of his way to make our experience great! It was also a celebratory occasion birthday pizza for granddaughter (her place of choice also) so she was given a complimentary dessert and she chose the Carmel cake with ice cream we all had a taste and it was delicious and totally enjoyed it. Ok I grew up in Chicago so I have had the Classic pizza places pizza and I have not been to an Uno since I left but I do have my favorite, LM is all I'm going to say. I have some gift cards that have been with me for years and Uno was one of them so I decided to lighten my wallet and stop by. The place is nice enough for a chain with a separate bar and dining area. The staff was super friendly and staff just passing by who were not helping me said hi, just a noticeable all around great staff. Ashley would be my server today and did a wonderful job so I told her that I'm from Chicago and Uno is not my favorite deep dish pizza but between the pizza and BBQ plater what would you suggest and she said the pizza so that's what I ordered. I'm no cocktail guy but I wanted one and decided to try a Mojito because I have never had one and it looked very refreshing, it presented it self very well but sadly it was not refreshing at all because it was thick and sweet. The pizza actually didn't take long to hit the table and since it's not my favorite Chicago deep dish I can still be objective and break it down. First off it looked really good, see my pictures and it smelled good. The Chicago deep dish is made differently depending on where you go but basically it's a thin crust with a high wall/edge to hold in all the goodness and no pizza sauce on the bottom, it's topped with a tomato relish like concoction. It's very cheesy and topped how ever you order the pizza. I ordered the Chicago classic deep dish which is extra cheese and sausage because I like it simple. My first bite was like wow this is pretty tasty even though it's not my fav. The crust was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, tasty and I would eat the edges like a bread stick. The sausage was like pow with great taste, no bland crumbles here and the best part of the pizza. The cheese was melty and plentiful with the tomato topping just chunky/tasty enough so the crust, cheese and sausage flavors pleasure your taste buds. My final thoughts is that my fav is still my fav but Uno does have a very good/tasty Chicago style deep dish pizza so I'm going to have to give them 4 stars. I will admit that it was better than I remembered and I would definitely order one again when I want something more than a thin crust. As a side note I had this gift card for a while and I was probably going to give it away but I have seen my fellow yelper Aubrey G. I order regular size deep dish uno and Chicago style pizza for pick up online. It was ready on time and taste good. The next time I order it will be the uno pizza because it had more meat and was tastier. Also , the regular size is very small and pricey but I used their coupon, buy one , get 50% of 2nd one. My family and I visited last Saturday with a party of 7 around 4:45/5pm. While there appeared to be plenty of seating, it took about 15 min to seat us. I don't know if that's still the impact of low staffing and COVID or just disorganization. Once seated we had very good service and dishes and drinks were provided promptly. The personal sized pizza I had was good and their tomato bisque was great. It's all standard foods and service you'd expect from a chain restaurant. Stopped in for Uno's lunch deal. Not bad for a nice sized pizza and salad for $9.99. The soup options are a good deal for a quick lunch before heading back to work. We ordered a side of onion rings, as the whole order would have gone to waste. My wife ordered their spicy but really good chili for $5, and I believe she could have ordered another bowl for free but one is enough. I had the caesar salad and their daily special that happened to be the "thin crust" spicy Hawaiian. No joke on the jalapenos, and the chili sauce was surprisingly delicious. The drizzle of ranch was a nice touch but really not needed, next time it will be a pass. I do enjoy their deep dish and today was my time trying their thin crust. It was pretty good and I will order again. We were greeted and promptly seated in the bar area upon our request. We tend to ask for the bar area as Stacy is really great and very engaging with her customers. Alas. I grew up around Chicago and ate at Pizzerias Uno and Due often. Never tried the chain store version, until today. The deep dish is simply nothing like the original. The original is served in the same pan it was cooked in and is as deep as the pan. Check the pictures. The chain serves it in a pan with a rack that holds the pie up higher. So it's quite thinner than the original. But the big difference between this corporate chain fake and the original is the crust and construction...well, everything. The original has a somewhat crunchy, flaky crust that is a prize secret of all the great deep dishes in Chicago. Also the original construction is simply a thick layer of sliced (not shredded!) cheese on the bottom, then the ingredients, then a layer of chunky or crushed seasoned tomatoes on top. The Uno chain version doesn't get any of that right. I won't bother with more details about the chain version. Except... if you're from Chicago order anything but the deep dish. read more

Though we've passed by Uno Pizza and Grill dozens and dozens of times in the past five or six years, I've never stepped foot in the place until Wednesday, 8/12/15 at about 6:30 PM. I honestly thought it was just a "pizza joint," but learned it is much, much more than that. The menu is full of burgers, steaks, chicken and salad choices. For those that are looking to eat light or healthy, there are plenty of choices, combinations and side dishes for you to choose from. We didn't even look at the pizza menu, so I can't make a comment about it. On this particular evening, I was (still) "low-carbing" and picked the (10 oz.) top sirloin steak and shrimp combination. With dinners, you get to choose two sides. I chose steamed broccoli and the mixed vegetables. (Other sides, from memory, include fries, baked, etc., the usual things). The steak was very good, cooked exactly to my specifications (medium rare) and the shrimp was grilled nicely, not over cooked, and tasted fresh and sweet. Cheryl, who had been here before, went for the Mac 'n Cheese. It looked great. Cheryl said it was, indeed, very good. It looked like it was top broiled a bit, giving it a cheesy crispy layer to the top. The portion was huge and she had two more meals out the leftovers. No kidding! We both started with side dinner salads. I had the side Caesar salad. The menu suggests telling the server if you want anchovies on the salad. I told our server, that I love anchovies. I was rewarded with several long anchovy strips on top of what turned out to be a surprisingly EXCELLENT Caesar salad. The location is warm and inviting; a lot of wood in the place and a good number of booths to sit in along with numerous table-tops, otherwise. There is a bar area with plenty of bar stool seating and sports on the TV's. Regarding the bar, we ordered cocktails upon being seated. They were AOK. Our server, Lexie, was friendly and efficient. Parking is easy; a large lot with a lot of spaces. Next time we go to Marcus Theater in Menomonee Falls, we're going back to Uno Pizza and Grill. read more

Dined recently and we have gone before for pizza and appetizers, and never had any problems. This visit was no good, service was blah and my husband and son's ribeye's were cold! Maybe the food was at the window waiting for my personal size deep dish. But, manager said she was standing at the window and brought them out as soon as they came up. There is no way, unless the cook had them waiting on their end. Never offered anything, just came back and said that the steaks were cold because they were served on plates that were sitting under an AC vent! They did re cook their steaks, but had left sides ugh it was just awkward. Service was in the middle of the week before 4pm, not busy at all for food to be served like that. Don't think we will be going back unfortunately, used to be a cool place to dine. read more

The deep dish pizza in my opinion is second to none right up there on par with Lou Malnati 's, Gino's east as well as other famous Chicago style pizza places. Probably have had their pizza and other food at least 20 times since they opened many years ago. We have dined in several times as well as had pizzas picked up. Cheese and peppers for our pizza, "yes please" which was not delivered. this was a Tues. lunch and it was not especially busy, so there was no reason for the service to be lacking. Went to UNO Menomonee Falls. Asked for a spinach dish that has tomatoes. I ask for the dish to be served with no tomatoes. She says no problem. Dish comes out and there are diced tomatoes in it, a lot of them. I said something to waitress who went to tell cook. She then came back to me and said that that dish is a prepackaged dish, so the tomatoes are already in there. Seriously?? This was so disappointing to hear. I will not go back if I am getting prepackaged, microwaved food. I can do that at home for a heck of a lot cheaper. read more

There once was an Unos out in Brookfield. I was terrible, it finally closed down. That was years ago. But the idea of how bad it was stuck with me. Last night we went to this one. I had a late lunch so I wasn't starving. The parking lot was full and the restaurant was about 75% full. There were a lot of staff running around and food was flying out of the kitchen. We ordered a thin crust pizza. It took about 15-20 mins. I did notice that the people that ordered ahead of us got their food after. They all ordered personal deep dish. I assume that it takes longer to make. Back to our pizza, it was good. I eat a lot of pizza and this was really good. Better than the last few places we tried. I will omit the names of the other places. We will definitely be coming back here again. I am curious to try the other items on the menu! Hmm Cons... Hard to think of any really. Oh how about the dead poinsettia plants, probably could have done without that. I get it, its a holiday week they were busy. All in all we are coming back! read more

They have added spicy hotness, probably from cayenne. That ruined it. It was busy but we were still seated right away. As a chain restaurant the menu is predictable and plus or minus a few items the menu should be almost the same as other Uno Chicago Grill locations. They are most well known for their deep dish pizza but offer, pasta, burgers, meat entrees and salads as well. The gluten free menu is one of the last pages of the standard menu so you don't need to special request it (nice!). Gluten free offerings include some salads (all dressings are gluten free), chicken and steak entrees and also gluten free pizza. I had the "chicken spinoccoli",which is chicken stuffed with veggies and feta cheese, and it was great! I had a lunch sized portion left over for the next day as well. My parents both did the "pick two" dinner special which allows you to select 2 smaller items from a list of salads, pizzas and pastas. They both thought their dinners were good but nothing spectacular. I also had the skinny orange Cosmo to drink which was amazing - highly recommended! Service was quick and very friendly. read more

There used to be an Uno Pizzeria in Peoria which we went to several times a year. Since moving to Milwaukee, we've only had deep dish pie at one place in town, and while good, in our memory it didn't seem to live up to deep dish pizzas of days gone by, so we made the trek to Menomonee Falls to Uno. Everyone was very friendly, really almost too much so, in probably a corporate-mandated way, but no worries. We ordered the Chicago Classic, and it came out after a not too short yet not too long wait. However, in my opinion the pizza could have been left in the oven another 5-10 minutes as the toppings were not as hot as they should have been and the cheese was not as melty as it should have been. All in all a nice enough experience, but we'll look for more deep dish closer to Milwaukee. read more

I grew up in Chicago, and when I first went away to college, one of the many tastes I really missed (besides my mother's cooking) was deep dish pizza. So when my mother visited me (Duke University, no real pizza, Chicago style or otherwise anywhere near the campus at that time), I had her go to Pizzeria Uno's original location, half cook a deep dish pizza, she froze it, and brought it on a plane when she came to visit me. The staff back then initially didn't understand (Mom not really fluent in English), but once they got the idea, they took it as a compliment. I only got a couple of pieces of that pizza, my room mate and a couple of other dorm-mates snagged the rest, you know the smell of a Chicago deep dish coming out of an oven is like the proverbial sirens' song. So the next time she brought two, and by the next semester's visit, she was bringing a stack. This of course would be impossible today, as a stack of frozen pizzas would probably not make it past TSA and I suppose most airlines would charge a hefty additional charge. Years later, they started selling frozen pizzas at O'Hare to take to places where you can't get Chicago deep dish, but now Uno, Giordanos, Eduardo's and others have widespread chains, so this is all history. Except the craving for authentic Chicago deep dish...that will be past, present and forever, in spite of my lactose intolerance. Sometimes the Chief of Staff brings back Lou Malnottis, which is wonderful but when I stumbled across this suburban Pizzeria Uno in Meno Falls I mentally drifted back to the 1970s as forces beyond my control pulled my car into the parking lot. Here's my mistake, I ordered an individual pizza. It was fine, but the crust to cheese and sauce ratio isn't like the original, so I was disappointed. My mistake, next time even if I'm eating by myself, I'm ordering a full size deep dish original. Second mistake, I got it to go. It's a nice clean place with friendly service, This sort of pizza should be eaten scalding hot out of the oven after a long impatient wait. Back in the day there was always a line out of the door for the original Pizzeria Uno, and the service was somewhat indifferent. In the middle of winter, however, even a short ride home means a cooler pizza, not ideal. The spacious no-wait location here would seem to be a big improvement, but I'm going to have to come back to assess the original. You can order online, very convenient. read more

This is one of the best gluten-free pizzas I've had. Their boneless chicken bites are also very good as are the brownie bites for dessert.

I really hope this was a fluke, the chicago classic deep dish pizza we got was barely edible. It was so, so, so salty, I'm not sure what in the world happened. The dough also wasn't cooked all the way through in the center. It also wasn't very cheesy or saucy. We also got mozz sticks and they were your typical (insert foodservice company name here) brand frozen sticks, no qualities whatsoever that made them taste like something other than what you would get out of the freezer at the grocery store. I ate here once before, maybe 10 years ago and it was very good, so again, hopefully this was a fluke, but not sure I'll take the chance again, a waste of $30 on pizza and mozz sticks. I'd gladly update the review if I ever go back and have a better experience but plenty of other places to go for pizza and deep dish that are so much better than this was.
