A great experience. Our server, and there's only one, was very friendly and engaging. SHE made the experience. We escaped today from the flatlander norms of North County and ventured up a path (State Hwy 78) that we hadn't trekked for a number of years. I think this is the only town with a Bol Weevil hamburger joint. We initially sought after and found it. We just couldn't bring ourselves to having lunch there. Too many good spots up here in Ramona. Searching Yelp, we found this place and decided to try it based on the large menu. We had a couple of delicious sandwiches, but I could see as the plates came outta the kitchen, I should've ordered a burger. They really looked awesome, ; and quite the variety, vbut we were already elbows into our plates along with house-made offerings. We also had the excellent ranch dressing that was offered along with the good onion rings. I ordered the beer battered Fish which normally comes with chips but they're nice to offer substitution I got a salad with ranch dressing instead. Our server Faith is always checking on us. Another server named David was very accommodating as well. Clean restrooms and they have a railroad miniature decor. Food was good and portions were awesome! The food is great, the service is fast and they are kind, and the Ambiance is very family friendly and is country style .

Little hole in the wall, we weren't expecting much but this turned out to be one of the better meals we've had! Tiny indoor dining area with lots to look at, they even have a car on the ceiling with working headlights. Menu was huge, burgers, salads, sandwiches and more! They have a great selection of appetizers as well, the fried green beans are a must try! It came with a really flavorful sauce that went perfectly well with it. The burger was a really great burger, exactly what someone would want. A downside my boyfriend did mention was the brand mark on the burger bun did make it have a burnt taste, but overall he still really enjoyed it. The turkey sandwich was incredible as well, and HUGE. The turkey was not deli meat it tasted like fresh cooked turkey, it was incredible. The fries were outstanding as well, and so was the ranch! Service was fantastic the entire time. Took a drive up the hill from Esco to redeem my free birthday club appetizer. We got the fried pickles and they were excellent once they cooled down a little bit. My wife got the Vegasaurus Rex and loved it. I got the Smokey's Popper Burger that is a take on jalapeno poppers. It was also delicious. Both came with thin cut krinkle cut fries. They were also very tasty. Our server was super friendly and we enjoyed our lunch very much. It's a small place so it could probably get crowded on weekends and holidays. We will definitely make the trip back up the hill again before my next birthday to try something different. read more

Sometimes my husband and I just need a good burger. We thought we'd have to go out of town to get one but then we discovered this restaurant. Their burgers are amazing and exactly what we're looking for. The service is good but we've mainly just done call in and pick up. The ambiance is nice. I like the location and the cozy inside. My fiancé and I went here for his birthday and I can't believe how great the service, the food, and the vibe was here. Our waitress was amazing. She even told us about a special dessert that they're trying to get on the menu and had it made for his birthday. I really hope they get it (Mikki's Sweet Potato Funnel cake) on the menu. I went on a Monday night, and they're open until 10 PM every day. The covered outdoor seating area is really charming. I shared the 19 Wheeler burger with a friend, and it was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had--the fried avocado was an amazing addition. They served plenty of crinkly flat fries, and even split the burger and fries onto separate plates for us. Our waitress checked in often. I'd absolutely recommend this place. read more

We started with the Crazy Poppers. The BEST jalapeno poppers I've ever had! The bbq sauce added an edge to this dish. Although I wish they offered more for price. My nieces lobster bisque was tasty. I ordered the fried avocado with bacon cheeseburger sliders. They were delicious! I'd never had tried fried avocado, but I'm a fan now;) The burger was juicy and the toppings were fresh. The decor was unique , a little overwhelming, so much going on . Had a funny smell on the inside , higher decorations needs a little dusting.. The service was a little slow but servers were attentive . The food was pretty good. Fairly large menu of American faire. Lots of burgers and a curious amount of options with avocado. Son enjoyed his Bacon Mac and Cheese with Chicken Strips. Even though the strips are cut, you can specify a "wing" sauce. My Chicken Chipotle wrap was not too big and better and spicier than expected. Recommend! This is a great place !! The atmosphere was perfect for a burger and a beer. We took our food to go and when we got home it was still hot and ready. I had the burger with Ortega Chili's and sour cream and my wife had the burger with the Fried Pickles and Onions. The server was awesome too !! Our friend recently moved to Ramona and brought us here saying she'd had the best burger she'd ever had. With that rave review we ordered the Ortega Burger (with Mac n cheese on the side) and the Chicken Club Wrap (with Kringle fries). Both were good but the stand out was the incredible onion ring tower served with ranch and/or BBQsauce. Seating can be inside (decor is cute) or outside on the patio but dogs aren't allowed from what we heard. Price-wise, everything has gone up recently but I thought the portions were generous. This is most likely the last time I'll be going here. Very disappointed with the sitting area and the food. First of all, there are spiderwebs and huge spiders throughout the outdoor eating area right above the tables that no one has cleared for years. We went for dinner, we got one wrong order one cold order, and it took almost 40 minutes from the time we ordered it for it to arrive. It's not like they were busy, we were one of two customers.
