Mariam is absolutely fantastic!! I'm one of those people with very very sensitive eyes so I'm very cautious when it comes to stuff like this. I went to Mariam for a lash lift and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences. She was very nice and outgoing and the best part is that she actually cared and took her time. She explained every single step of her work and didn't rush through it or brush off my questions. She is very knowledgeable so she answered my questions thoroughly. Her work is amazing and she's not one of those people that stops caring once you show her your loyalty. She continues to impress me each and every time with her amazing work! As for my lashes, they look absolutely amazing. They are so long and beautiful that people keep asking me if they're my natural lashes. My answer to them? Uplift Beauty by Mariam!! I also took my mom in for a facial which she absolutely loved!! My mom isn't the type to sit through an entire facial as she gets anxious so Mariam was very patient with her. I normally get my shoulder and a bit of my back-wings waxed elsewhere. Someone recommend this girl. I texted her and made an appointment. She was kind enough to work with my schedule. I travel a lot for work and have a messed up schedule. She was flexible which I appreciated (my other place whom I was loyal to for years didn't care any longer about my loyalty) anyways... so what I liked about this waxing process. Mariam explained what she was going to do, and I don't know about women but men don't handle this wax pain well; but Mariam kept asking "are you okay" "need a break?" Woah, someone who wasn't rushing to get me out the door! I hardy give 5 stars on yelp, but when I do, know that is worth a visit. Why 5 stars? (1)This girl is super clean!! Like I mean extra extra clean! All her tools were placed out and ready when I arrived. My other place, had sticky wax everywhere, this was like heaven compared to my other place. She explained from the get-go that she likes to be extra clean, no contamination, etc. tools were all tossed at the end. (2) Flexible. Even though it was a bit after hours, she stayed later. I appreciated that. (3) she did this extra step which no one ever does for me, pacing toner(?) and lotion on my back with a cold towel to help with cooling and redness (I was asking if she charges extra for these, she said no "it's included")! Have my other wax ladies been jippin me all this time?? (4) afterward I usually have redness for a few days, not this time. It was incredible. So much that I texted her to ask if she used a special wax (so I can request it next time). To my surprise she said no, it's all "time and technique" (5) The price; it was reasonable and honestly for that kind of treatment I would think this girl should be based in Beverly Hills! AMAZING!!! Not only was the staff great but the product was amazing too I went for a lash lift and I was soo nervous. My eyes wouldn't stop twitching but Mariam was so nice about it! She held my eyebrow down and kept reassuring me, all while being totally understanding of the fact that my eyes wouldn't stay still. Great first time experience with lash uplift and tint! Miriam has a small room located inside a hair salon. It was very easy to communicate and book an appointment. My future sister in law recommended this place and I loved how hers turned out so I immediately made an appointment. I've had lash extensions for 4 years after my wedding and have stopped since the pandemic. I've lost a lot of lashes through the processes thankfully they do grow back. I've always considered a lash perm (what they use to call it) but none of my friends have ever gotten it so I'm glad Miriam was recommended to me. My lash lift turned out great it's been 48 hours so I can finally wet them. One thing I would recommend is maybe start out with only getting an eyelash lift and see what that looks like and do the tinting in another session. I'm curious to see if it makes much of a difference, that's the only thing I would do differently. read more

Mariam is fantastic! I have stick straight lashes that grow downward, meaning I usually have to curl them multiple times, just to have them fall again by the end of the day. Had my lash lift done for the first time with Mariam last week. She was super flexible and accommodating to my schedule to squeeze me in. She walked me through the entire process, and talked me through the entire process taking her time to be meticulous and thorough. Her space was so clean and tidy. I have nice lashes, they they were stick straight and I could only use waterproof mascara because normal mascara would not hold my curl. We were so quick to get to business that unfortunately we did not take before and after photos but I'm sure we will take them when I come back to do the lift again. My lashes are lifted and have a "born with it" curl to them now that really pop when I put mascara on. Also, now that they're already curled I save so much more time getting ready in the morning.
