I found this place from Groupon i had an eyelash extension service. I paid an extra $20 for volume and although I still don't have as much volume as I would like, my lashes look pretty good overall. The lady that performed my service didn't speak English so we had to continuously have everything translated between us which was a little frustrating. Love love love this place! I am extremely picky with my style and I find that it isn't the norm to what's "in". I like my eyebrows to be just cleaned up, not skinny. I try to keep them as thick as possible but well kept. Same when it comes to my eyelashes, I get extensions here and ask for the most basic and natural look. I have been going to this place to get my lashes done, waxing and facials for about a year now. I have refrained from writing this review because I genuinely liked coming here, its close by and they do a fairly good job. However, their customer service and willingness to resolve issues is non existent. I have had numerous incidents here but I have stuck by them, in hopes that they would get it together as a team. I have realized that whenever I have been dissatisfied with a service they ignore my calls and my text. I am wasting time and money trying to make it work with them. This has been my experience here: I have been made fun while being laid out with product on my skin for my acne. They left the door open while I was getting this service and they made fun of me with another customer who peaked into the room, I didn't say anything but I felt bad. I have booked appointments, showed up and they have been canceled without a heads up. Lily has gotten angry and frustrated with me when I tried to change my lash styles, she also tried to over charge me for a facial even though it was a mis communication on their part. They changed me lash tech (Ruby) after this incident because Lily no longer wanted to work with me ( they started ignoring my complaints here, until I kept trying to get in contact with them) Since, I changed lash techs Ruby has been doing my lashes for the last couple of sets. These last three sets my lashes keep falling off from my left eye, a week after getting them done. I brought it up to Ruby that my eyelashes were falling a week after and the ignoring of the calls/text, she was of no help, so they are aware of all of this. I've been filling in the eyelash gaps myself, because I get no response and it looks ugly. I am wasting money here. This last set fell faster after a week, I have a bald spot in on my left eye. I've texted and called multiple times and they are ignoring me once again. I have recommended this place to numerous friends. I am disappointed at their lack of response and lack of professionalism. All they had to say is that they didn't want to provide this service for me anymore, instead of ignoring me. Sorry Ilash friends but this is not okay, and I am tired of chasing you all for services. If anyone knows of any good eyelash extensions places in the Pasadena/Altadena or surrounding areas, please let me know. My lashes currently look like shit. :( Responding to Abbey: If you would have read the review then you would know that I liked going there, so I tried to make it work. The two ladies who greeted me at the door were quite friendly so I decided to give it a shot. Eyebrow + upper lip was $22, which was more than I was used to spending. But overall, I really enjoyed my experience here! The lady who did my eyebrows took her time, and the wax she used was probably the least painful I've ever had. The interior is very clean and comfortable. I freaked out a little when I first saw my eyebrows because they looked thinner than I was used to, but the shape grew on me. After booking my 4th appointment, I show up to having a new technician help me. No clue what her name is but she used the room by the check in area. Horrible experience!! She burned my eye through the entire process and when it was done (1.5 hours later) the end result was horrible. My eyelashes weren't permed and the glue was in chunks around my eye and skin. She basically burned my eyeball and skin with too much glue and chemicals and it weighed down my eyelashes so now they won't even hold a curl. No clue what her name was but she doesn't speak any English and had a translator apologize to me. She admitted she didn't know what she was doing and that's why I won't return. Who let's someone work on a delicate procedure around someone's eyeballs When they don't know what they're even doing?! She ruined my experience and I will never return, even with the girl who was doing a great job before her. Not worth losing my eyesight over. read more

I got them done Friday 3/6 had to have the fixed Sunday 3/8 because one side was longer and fuller than the other(I truly feel it was the the language barrier and communication with my lash technician) I will give them praise that the offered to fix them before my birthday brunch, but fast forward to 3/12 a whole 6 days and I have already lost half of the lashes on one eye!!!!! She gave feedback of what style would look good for my eye and face shape, was gentle and very methodical. I've gotten so many compliments and my favorite has been "are those real?" This has been my first eyelash extension experience (as of now I have had a couple new sets and a few fills here) and I have to say it has been wonderful. I actually don't want to write this review because the ladies are so awesome I want to keep them to myself. Abbey is excellent at handling the appointments and communicating with you. Lily, the technician, is not comfortable speaking English so she generally communicates through Abbey, but she does understand most of what you say when needed. That's all good though because she has the hands of an angel. Lily is so gentle applying the lashes you can just drift off to sleep and wake up transformed. I do not wear much makeup and wanted a natural look and that is just what she did. They look so natural I've had friends ask me what I've done different / did I get extensions. They say they noticed something different, but can't tell quite what it is. That's just the look I wanted. Also the shop if very clean, cozy and they play soothing music.
