Where is the zero stars button?? I'm new to the area, and was trying to find somewhere I could just grab a quick slice of pizza while I'm on a time crunch. Their website says they sell slices, and I called to confirm. The employee over the phone told me they do sell slices, and gave no further information. After a 10 minute drive to get there, I walk in and don't see any cheese slices. I asked how long I would have to wait, and they told me they don't carry cheese slices. The only slices they carry have pork on them. What a waste of time. I don't eat pork, and I know I'm not the only one. I've never heard of a pizza place having no option for just cheese. I get that the restaurant can choose to run their business however they want, but there should be a disclaimer that they don't carry cheese before people waste their time coming in. read more

The team members AND management at this location were incredibly rude after making us the wrong pizza!!! They denied any refund, to make our order correct and then HUNG UP ON US!!! Ordered the small pepperoni pizza and it was fair at best. I didn't expect great results from a simple pizza but this one was pretty underwhelming for the price. I also ordered the mozzarella sticks which are basically mozzarella cheese sticks in wonton wrappers. They are bland and greasy. They do have a large beverage selection with several Sprecher varieties in bottles. There are also a variety of Coke products in cans. Mostly young kids work there and the girls can be very friendly or very into themselves depending on when you go and who waits on you. The problem I have with some of the young girls attitudes are borderline rude. They seem to forget the older generation also has these jobs and customers were a lot harder to please then so lose the unprofessional attitude with customers ladies. The place is clean but small. It definitely is based on a take out business. There is a very small counter that you could eat at but it would be difficult as it is near the door. The food is the problem. It's just okay. With several pizza places to choose from I felt this time I made the wrong choice. I will try again as I feel small business owners need a chance and big chain pizza places are overpriced and overrated. Crossroads II improve your product and you will have a much happier, bigger customer base read more

Pizza is hit or miss at times, depending on how busy they are, really like the ham and rolls on Sunday, I like the Italian hoagie sandwich, but if you expect decent fries or fish fry it's only ok because they don't have a deep fryer. I ordered takeout from here after having it at a friends party. The pizza was fabulous prepared perfectly and extremely tasty. The crust was the perfect blend of toasty but not too crunchy. Just the right amount of sauce and toppings. Highly recommend for a great pizza. read more

I was looking for a sub sandwich from some place different so I jumped on yelp and started a search and after sifting through all the usual chain placed I found this place. Obviously they are more of a pizza place but I would try the sub sandwich from here. The place is small with a counter and 4 stools if you want to eat in but it's mostly carry out. The menu is the standard pizza place with pizza, subs, daily fish fry, wraps, apps and salads. The sub selection is ok with hot and cold subs but not super big. I thought I would get a hot sub just to be different so I went with the steak and cheese with everything, I imagined a gooey/cheesy hot sub with fresh toppings. They also have a cooler with various take and bake pizzas of various sizes to cook later. When I got the sub I was like WTF is this because the cheese was not melty and it looked like thin steak-umm meat on the sandwich and not really a hot sub at all. With that being said the soft French bread was very fresh with that nice little chew/pull, very good. The fresh toppings were lettuce, onions, tomatoes and mayo with a great cold pickle spear. Overall it was ok and not really a hot sub at all but if I would have got the Italian it would be a good sub. I would recommend getting a cold sub first and than try a hot one. Overall the subs have great potential if you order a traditional cold one because they have great bread and fresh toppings so I would definitely go back and get an Italian next time. read more

Thin crust and house crust seem to be the same thing, but either way this is the best pizza in the vicinity. This location is to-go only and the staff is good, efficient, attentive, filling orders accurately. They offer anchovies, which I've learned is the rarest pizza topping choice in America. Such a shame, so no one gets the Don Rickles line "what, no anchovies?" You probably don't either, but what I'm trying to say here is that they have a great selection of toppings choices. There are a couple of nice parks nearby so between mosquito and icicle seasons this pizza makes a nice picnic food. read more

I had heard a few good things about this place so I thought I would give it a try. I was wrong. The pizza was burnt on the edges (see photos) and the dough on the inside wasn't cooked. Well, stopped ordering pizza a while ago due to crust being burnt a few times in a row. Still went for the ham and rolls as they were great! Found out today, 1/28/24 they switched bakeries. The new rolls are not even close to the old ones. They have now lost me completely! Will be going elsewhere from now on. Can someone who knows, post where the rolls did come from? Would love to go there. I do know it was on the south side of Milwaukee but not sure where. I didn't ask about the ham, but that seems different too? read more

The pizza is good if you like thin crust. Sometimes it hit or miss on the doneness of the crust. At least twice we got pizza from there the crust was a little burnt. Reasonably priced for pizza compared to other pizza restaurants in the area. read more

I called today and asked about the specials. The girl told me they're on the website. I asked if she could just tell me what they were since I'm already on the phone. She told me and I ordered. She then literally just hung up on me. Ok. Fine, you're busy. I get it. But to be rude, not necessary. Apparently they are so busy that they don't want or need my business because when I called back to ask for the manager he was also rude AF. He didn't care to know why I was upset. He said they were busy and he was losing calls. I told him to cancel my order and he hung up on me as well. Sometimes it's literally just a matter of showing the common courtesy. I have been a customer there for a long time and the food is good, but I'm actually so pissed at how I was treated that I won't support them. They don't care because they just work there. Maybe the owner might actually care. I have worked in the service industry my entire life and I've never been so irritated with how "these young people" treat others. This is such a ubiquitous Wisconsin thing. You know a place like it -- they exist all over. An out of the way business with a subdivision built around it. Sometimes it's a bar, sometimes an eatery, sometimes a takeout food place -- each of which can just blow you away with it's surprising fare -- nothing fancy but oh so yum! Crossroads is just such a place -- a take out eatery. I drove past this place daily for nearly a year but never stopped in. This time, in search of something different than the usual chains, I decided to stop. I am so glad I did. The pizza and wings were extraordinary. The pizza comes with a traditional crust (or thin crust) but is loaded with toppings that make each bite of pizza a meal in itself. Seriously. The small pizza was so heavy I though I had the wrong order. The wings were nicely cooked and flavorful but between the wings and the pizza there was enough food for a couple of more meals. That's okay though -- cold pizza and cold wings are just as tasty. I look forward to stopping by here again next time I'm in the area. There's nothing like this place where I am now. Good part is we love the ham and rolls on Sunday and will continue to go there. The bad news is we can no longer order the pizza. We have been going here for years and have been mostly satisfied. The last 3 or 4 months it has been very hit and miss. We order and never know what the quality of the pizza will be. Tonight we realize we need to find a different place. Our pizza was a large cheese and sausage, mushrooms, black olives and half onions. 3 minute ride home and it was picked up at the correct time. The pizza was very wet. The cardboard separator was quite wet as well. The pizza was sliced horribly and I don't know if the black olive or mushroom can pored the water or what. Very few places are perfect, but this pizza comes close! I think a more accurate rating would be 4.5 stars, but only because the fries we ordered were a bit soggy after being delivered. The pizza itself was delicious! I am usually a thin crust gal, but I am so glad we went with the house crust. Crispy with a good amount of chewiness. The toppings were plentiful and fresh! So here's my story. Ordered two large pizzas for pickup which included an order of garlic bread each. Went to pick it up and took it home for our Halloween party. I realized then they did not include the garlic bread in the boxes. Called to ask if they could add the order to their next delivery drivers route because I had company over at the time and the young girl agreed over the phone. I received a call minutes later from what I presume was the owner. He explained that they won't be delivering the garlic bread and that I needed to come and pick it up instead. He went on to explain that my house was 1 mile past the 5 mile delivery radius they abide by. I asked if they could spare the one mile difference to make this right by me and proclaimed they would not. He then went on to state that it was in a way my fault for not realizing the garlic bread was missing and not taking ownership of the wrongdoing himself. I then asked if they could mail me a voucher for the difference. He explained they will keep a credit on my number in their system instead. I said at that point I didn't want that because I wasn't sure I wanted to patronize his business anymore. I asked if they keep records of credits in telephone numbers and he replied "what, do you think we are stupid or something?" In closing, I'm not the type to complain about a business. Matter of fact, this is my first review of any establishment ever. I just feel the need to advise everyone on this owner to let you know they don't care about you. They only care about your money. Case in point, the pizza is over priced and they take no credit cards in 2016. Reason being, is they want to keep 100 percent profit rather than pay the credit card companies. Normally I love Crossroads pizza New Berlin. But for the second time this month this past Friday we received not just burnt black on the bottom but the burnt flavor ran through the pizza and deemed it inedible! We order two large pizzas traditional crust, one pepperoni one sausage. The top of the pizzas looked done a little burnt on the edges, but when we looked at the entire bottoms, they weren't just burnt they were charcoal burnt BLACK!! Almost as if the previous pizzas from their oven leaked grease and they didn't clean the oven before making other pizza! We called and my husband talked to the Manager. The guy was totally "Snarky" towards my husband and only gave us credit for one pizza which has to be used in a month. They are at two strikes, one more and this 18 year customer will take my business elsewhere. Wish I could post a picture of the black mess! I can only attest to the pizza, but way way way too much cheese. If you love cheese you may like their pizza. The crust is actually very good, but unfortunately you can hardly taste it because it's overpowered by the extreme amount of cheese. The reason I gave such a low rating is that although my cheese preference is a matter of taste, I requested "light cheese," and received what I would consider extra cheese. The pizza that I didn't make a special request was too much cheese even for the people who like cheese. They also forgot the pepperoni. I had ordered the "big meal deal" for $40 thinking I would be able to eat leftovers for a couple days, but unfortunately this probably won't get eaten at all. read more

They forgot a couple toppings on our pizza the last time we ordered and when I mentioned something, the manager immediately gave me all my money back and let us still keep the pizza. He also offered to make us a new one, but we didn't have the time to wait for it. I thought it was pretty awesome and honorable that I was offered a refund without hesitation. Placed our order at 5 for 6:00 pickup and they were just boxing up the pizza at 5:58, so they appeared punctual. We ordered 2 hot subs, a fish fry and a 12" cheese pizza. meatball sub: My daughter said the meatballs were warm but not hot. the meatballs tasted good but she thought they used to big of a loaf and she was eating mostly bread. Buffalo chicken sub: My wife said it was good but not great and the proportion was very large. My son had the cheese pizza and he liked it. I tried a piece and thought the dough was just slightly under-done. Fish fry: This was a huge fail. The waffle fries and fish both appeared to be oven cooked. I expect my fish fry to be fried. The reason I could tell they used an oven was because the bottom of the fish were burnt and so were the bottom edges of the fries. I also prefer coleslaw instead of Mott's applesauce. Also I prefer battered fish and not the breading typically used on frozen fillets. If I were to go again I would probably just try the cold subs. If I want burnt frozen fries and fish I can make them myself. read more

As far as pizza goes this is one of the best I've had, very consistent. Sausage has a good taste to it, not bland like most locations. Yes their prices are higher than most and they don't take credit cards, cash and checks only. Checks, really? Saturday besides pizza we ordered the Italian salad, shredded iceberg lettuce so it was bland. But the biggest disappointment were the buffalo chicken wings, without a doubt one of the worst I've ever had. Splashed hot sauce on wings and put them in the oven, all I tasted was skin and it was rubbery, yuk. I couldn't even taste any sauce. I added more sauce and fried them in a pan after I had a couple at home as they were uneatable. I did hear they have good subs which I haven't tried but I'll stick with what I feel they do best, PIZZA! read more
