I had an appointment with Kevin who has always done a great job. He hadn't quite finished with his previous client so Holly was prepping my nails in preparation for when Kevin would be done with his service. Holly was extremely rough and aggressive with the nail file and after I let her know that she had injured my finger and that it was bleeding, she placed a cotton ball on it and wanted me to go ahead and soak my nails in acetone to which I declined. Holly did not apologize, she just smiled and was speaking to the other nail technicians in her native language and continued on to her next task. This is the second incident at this nail salon. The owner was very apologetic when I told her about the incident. The salon is very clean, is located in great location, and Cindy and Kevin have done a phenomenal job on my nails in the past and on my visit today. However, this is the second incident where I have been injured while the nail technicians are either super aggressive or talking to each other and not paying attention while operating the electrical equipment as it happened in my other incident. If you do get your nails done here, and you do not want to be injured, I definitely recommend requesting for Kevin or Cindy. I definitely do not recommend Holly or the technician that has a cute bob. She was the one that injured my thumb with the electrical nail file. read more

If there were an option to leave zero stars, I would. Over the past four years, I have visited this salon approximately six times, hoping each visit would be better than the last. Unfortunately, today's appointment confirmed that I will never return. I want to begin by recognizing Cathy, who was the one bright spot in my experience. She was warm, professional, attentive, and provided an excellent pedicure. She is a credit to this business. Unfortunately, the remainder of my visit fell far below even basic professional standards. The technician who completed my gel full set delivered the poorest nail service I have ever received. My nails are noticeably uneven, misshapen, excessively thick, and overloaded with product, resulting in an unnatural appearance. To make matters worse, he finished the service without explaining that I needed to remove the oil from my hands, leaving me confused about whether the appointment had actually concluded. Rather than focusing on the quality of his work, much of our conversation centered on economic hardship and corruption in Vietnam, which left me feeling uncomfortable and, frankly, as though I was being encouraged to leave a larger tip out of sympathy rather than because of the quality of the service. The checkout experience was equally disappointing. The woman at the front desk has been consistently unfriendly during multiple visits over the years, and today was no exception. I complimented her outfit, yet she barely acknowledged the compliment or even made eye contact. When I politely asked for clarification about the charges on my receipt, her response came across as dismissive and impatient. Customer service should never make a paying client feel like an inconvenience. Equally concerning is the condition of the salon itself. The furniture and equipment have become noticeably worn, dated, and poorly maintained. For a business located in Viridian--a community known for its quality and standards--the overall environment no longer reflects the level of professionalism one would reasonably expect. I value businesses that appreciate their customers, take pride in their craftsmanship, invest in their facilities, and understand that exceptional service is what earns loyalty. I have given this salon multiple opportunities over several years, hoping my experience would improve. Instead, it has steadily declined. This visit was my final one. At one point, a male staff member stepped in while manager was already working and took over pretty abruptly. The conversation didn't help either. I didn't have a good experience at this nail bar. I chose to go because it's nearby and looked nice. The biggest issue was that I asked for a design on my nails, showed the picture of what I wanted to both the receptionist and nail tech, and both women said they could do the design. Unfortunately, the nail tech painted my nails and told me she was done. I was super confused and asked if she would still be doing the design. She said she "didn't see" the design in the picture I showed her. This made me upset mainly because it doesn't make any sense. Why would I show you a picture if I only wanted my nails painted a solid color? Why would you say you could do something (without asking any clarifying questions) if you didn't understand what I was asking for? On any other day, I might have shrugged it off but she asked me to pay before she painted my nails so that I "didn't mess them up while trying to pay," and I was celebrating my birthday, which I didn't tell them but that's a big part of why I was so dead set on getting the design I wanted. The design was super simple, by the way: nude pink color with a line in the middle, half gold, half white. After I pulled up the picture again and pointed this out, the tech attempted the design. Unfortunately, she rushing and, in doing so, butchering the design. The lines were painted crookedly. On one nail she accidentally smeared the gold polish, so it look less like a line and more like a squiggle. She did one hand and asked me my opinion. They looked bad, and I wanted my nails to look nice for my birthday, so I told her I still wasn't happy with it. We agreed to just scrap the whole idea; she removed the paint, and I chose a new color. While I was happy with the color I chose in the end, the nail tech never apologized for the misunderstanding, and I felt very frustrated by the entire visit. I will not be going back here after the experience I had. read more

It's a nail bar like thousand others out there. But this one in particular, most of the time they don't have enough people and that's understandable but at the least tell customer their wait time. They make you sit hours with your nails and fingers dipped in acetone which is even worse for your skin! No one checks on you while all the moisture from your fingers get sucked by acetone and you are inhaling it like an addict! I've given this place the benefit of the doubt a couple of times already due to the fact that it's convenient because i live in front of it but will not be coming back always a bad experience. Today i went for a pedicure and asked for French tip . Service was not well done, there's polish that wasn't cleaned up and cuticles that were not removed. I paid for deluxe in the hopes I could get a bit more attention to that but no. I was not offered water or nothing. Was not told it cost more everytime i go there they add to the bill without consulting or explaining why it's more, today i finally asked and the lady acted mad that i was asking. She was also holding a sample in her hand that i believe was a souvenir for customers, waited to see my tip, grabbed receipt and put the souvenir down. The work is excellent but they have no management whatsoever. Half the time the phones aren't even answered. If you get a voicemail the call isn't returned. Today was the final straw. I made an appointment for 4 pm and they asked my name and telephone number so I thought they had improved their process. WRONG! I got there at 3:45 and was told I didn't have an appointment but I could come back at 5. He argued with me that he had no call from me. I pulled my phone out and showed him their name in my caller ID where I called and made the appointment at 1:53. They charge almost double the going rate which I have paid because I like the quality of their manicures and pedicures. If you are going to pay more you should expect more, and get it. I have sat and waited countless times because they cannot seem to make an appointment and keep it within an hour of the scheduled time. I'm tired of all the fails here. Ann put the thinnest layer of acrylic on my nails and charged me for a dipset that I didn't get. I had to go back and have it fixed and I was not greeted at the door, I had to yell what I needed across the room. The lady who fixed it was nice.
