I was expecting to leave mine and go back the next day for a replacement especially since it was after 6pm on my second trip. Alexis found a replacement for me that I was able to take home and get running the same evening. She was fabulous, I and greatly appreciated her going above and beyond. I really needed to get the water circulating since I had just removed the cover for this season. She had a great attitude, and she really cares about the customers that come to the store. The last straw... I have been a customer of Pool and Spa…read moreConnection since 2017. I've only had issues since working with the new owner, David Hanor, on my 90K pool renovation. My 2024 reno was riddled with issues like: -Unnecessary holes being cut into my new steel walls and patched with duct tape. -The new patio roped off for smaller than in our contract. I had to show the concrete crew a copy of the contract so they would correct the square footage before they poured the concrete. Thank goodness I was home at the time! -New equipment (salt cell) being sold to me and installed without first checking to see if the power center was functioning. When the new salt cell did not work, I was then told I probably needed a new power center. -Trash and debris being left in the yard and against my house for so long that I received warnings of fines from my HOA. -My credit card being charged $2,286 for a new pump, when they quoted that it would run $1,600-$1,800. (I had to produce his written quote to back to him, and show him other pool company's less expensive quotes, before he finally refunded my $474.) -And, the last straw, selling and installing incompatible equipment that continues to malfunction. I've gone thru months of my new pool vac having pressure issues that have caused breaks in the connections and the pool vac to malfunction. I have emailed David Hanor written documentation from the Pentair website, Pentair Customer Support agents and the local Pentair rep, Don Burts, stating the pool vac and booster pump he sold me were not compatible and I would continue to have issues. David Hanor has not responded to my last email, has not replaced the incompatible/malfunctioning equipment and he has not responded to the BBB claim #23245428 that I filed in April. Mr Hanor is a friendly person and always has an excuse for everything, but it has been one issue after another. I don't want any other pool owners to go through what I've had to go through with David Hanor at Pool & Spa Connection.

Since I've been having issues with my pool equipment and keep in the water clean.. My existing and current Pool Company has been very unreliable and unresponsive. And I've been frustrated. Upon calling Daniel, he came out the next day. Fix the leak in my pool equipment, clean my filters, test of the water was in and out in a couple of hours and got my pool back up and running. Thank you Daniel. And I definitely recommend this company

Needed Pool uncovered, entire pool brushed and vacuumed, water balanced and ready for use Asap but…read moreno later than 7/4/25. I also told them I was scheduled to go out of state on 7/12/25 for an indefinite amount of time. Received written estimate totaling $325 which was due the first day in cash or via Venmo, using my chemicals for these services, and including two one hour service calls. Pool was uncovered first visit on 6/27/25 and determined pool motor needed to be replaced. I declined their estimate to replace motor. I asked if they would just replace the cover and we'd call it quits. Was told it would be additional $225 to replace the cover. A net was used for about 10 minutes to remove a few of the leaves from the bottom and the guys left. I got motor replaced and asked for Lakeside services to be completed. I was notified second visit would take place 7/11/25 but was told estimated time could not be provided. I waited all day and was notified at 4:37 serviceman was on his way, and I told them it was beginning to storm by then. He arrived and called me from in front of my home to let me know he was there but because of storm would have to reschedule. I reminded him I was leaving the state the next day, didn't know when I'd return, so couldn't reschedule and to please refund me $225 since the pool had not been vacuumed or brushed not the water balanced. I was told since I had not rescheduled when Billy was at my home on 6/11/25 during the storm, I was not due any refund, that they had done everything outlined in the proposal, and since then they have failed to return my calls. I would give them less than one star if possible.
