This happened a couple years ago but the experience has stuck with me so I thought I'd share it. I walked in to look at the glass pipes. Was in the little room for awhile and no one came to help. I thought "okay, I'll go ask for help." I asked an older, grumpy-looking Mexican man for help (I think it may have been the owner/manager, not sure) he walks over and his overall energy was just bleh. Like we were bothering him for asking to buy a pipe. Me and my friend pick one out and when we're paying at the cash register, I realize we didn't buy a screen. The particular pipe we were buying was one where you always need a metal screen , and of course the guy hadn't told us anything. I very calmly said "oh! we forgot to get a screen for our pipe!" The guy makes an annoyed face and says "that's over there! That means we need to walk all the way (literally only 10 ft away) over there again." He sighed and said "alright, lets go." He grumpily walked us over to the pipe section and started pulling out us glass again?? I say "um, I said I needed a screen." He looks at me like I'm stupid and says "we have those by the register." THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU GIVE ME ONE THERE? He pulls out screens from cabinet anyway and says "that all?" "Yes." He says "Are you sure?" sarcastically and then laughs at me. I couldn't believe what a blatant asshole this guy was. Like god forbid you have to walk 10 feet in your own store. I'm so sorry for inconveniencing you like that. You should've been thanking us for the exercise anyways. read more

This place is badass. Punk,Ska,Reggae,Metal they have almost every band shirt you could want. Patches,Buttons,Posters etc.! My only advice is to not to ask the fat guy in the ponytail for a shirt cause he'll be too lazy to check for you. everyone else is great! read more

This place is great. You can find a lot of great gear and items whether your'e a movie or comic book fan boy, a music junkie, or smoker. Seriously, this store is really cool. They have everything from StarWars, Comics, Rock shirts, posters, and smoke shop items. Love this place. Good prices too read more

i cant explain how much i love this store. as soon as you walk in you instantly feel a laid back vibe. from floor to ceiling you will find the band shirt your looking for. they also have a great selection of posters. not to mention the owner is super helpful without being pushy for you to buy stuff. ive been shopping here for years and have no complaints. its respected in the area and continues to be one of my main stops when i visit uptown whittier. oh i almost forgot... they are soooo cheap! read more

Decent spot. Lots of t shirts but way over priced. I went to buy a pipe and they seems to be pretty cheap in quality. Not heavy at all. One of the employees just has a bad attitude and follows you around like if your gonna steal something. He tries to not make is obvious but you clearly he's following you. read more

This store has become decent. They don't carry as much underground merch as a lot of other stores its mainly big label stuff. They're employee made me feel like I was wasting their time it was a short haired man with glasses. I ended up buying almost 100 dollars in merchandise and he still had a terrible attitude. All of their t-shirts on the wall are black, they have cool figurines and memorabilia but they're a bit overpriced. They also have a limited stock of dr. Martens. Cool place, but need more variety. read more

i love this place! goth clothes, tshirts, leather collars bracelets and all kinds of other kick ass stuff!

I love everything about the store....except the prices and the service. The service is horrible. It seems that they have a problem answering questions. An XL shirt (men's) cost about 20 bucks, but a small shirt for a woman is 26 bucks. 3 shirts and 2 stickers cost about $87.00. I don't think I'll ever be going back or recommending anybody to shop there. Go there for what??? I'm sure I can find everything online without the attitude from the staff. My daughter asked one of the workers if they had a specific band T-shirt, all he said was "I don't know....why don't you look for it". NOT cool. read more

Screw Hot Topic! This is where I go for my band shirts (well ok I got a few from HT but HT still sucks). They have lots of band shirts, hoodies, posters, some wallets, belts, buttons, guitar pics, strings, even some weed smoking acc. I don't smoke but I thought I'd just throw that bit out for those that do. There's been a few times where I couldn't find a shirt for a band I've been looking for but I always end up buying other band shirts. It's a great place for metalheads like myself, punks and rockers. One thing that sucks is the fat guy with the ponytail that Pablo mentioned. I remember one time I asked if they had a Sonata Arctica shirt and he said no. I wouldn't be suprised if he hadn't heard of them. I went back a few weeks later, looked through the racks and found a few. Maybe he was telling the truth and they just got them or he was too lazy to help me out, who knows. read more

Hello, I am an 8th grader, and since I am not old enough to drive, I ask my mom the annoying favor of dropping me and my annoying friends off here.We go inside and laugh at all the bongs,well, the ones that i can see through the shady curtain. then, i buy an over priced band shirt, with fabric so faulty it gives me a heat rash in the summer. oh, did I mention that it melted in the dryer? But I am cool, and just say I bought like that. On days when my allowence is short I ask the guy behind the counter to show me a million different kinds of pins, and later decide to just buy one.
