Great Place! I always go to this store and I am in love with it. This place is very organized and has so much kinds of clothes!

I've gone in here several times since they are around the corner from my house. I'll never take another step into this store because EVERY...SINGLE...TIME...that we go here, the employees act like they work inside a Louis Vuitton store - SUPER snobby, and I can attest that even LV employees are more nice and welcoming than the crew that works at this "thrift" store. Today was no exception. Came in, had some clothes to sell. I had all of my clothes folded. I took the time to put my clothes neatly into a bin that they ask you to when you sell to them. They decided that they didn't want to buy any of my items, which included items from Harley Davidson, several Levi's items, Free People, Billabong, to name a few. All of these items were purchased brand new and worn less than a handful of times. The guy going over my clothes stuffed the items back into my bags very haphazardly, telling me "unfortunately we're unable to buy any of these items." "Ok - can you tell me why?" "Just because we can't." Alright, if you can't, fine. But do me the favor of enlightening me so I don't waste my time going into your store for you to be snooty to my potential business. Couldn't get a straight answer. Seriously, folks. Don't. Waste. Your. Time. Go to Goodwill or Mercy Warehouse , even South Coast Plaza with all of the name brand stores - I guarantee the folks working there will give you 100000000% better customer service than this place. They act like you need them, not that they need you, a paying customer, to keep their store afloat. read more

Wow I really love this place, today was the first time i stopped by. I saw the balloons from the road and i have to say I'm glad i love shiny objects. Speaking of shiny objects, there are some true jems in this store. They are a reseller and specialize in mid to high end clothing shoes and accessories. I got 2 pairs of Jean's for 10 bucks. Looked them up online, could have easily been over 150 dollars new and I also got a pair of REEBOK PUMPS which is crazy I haven't seen these types of shoes since I was a kid. Lol had to cop them. ALMOST SCAMMED! Taylor the blonde woman at the cash register tried to charge us $182 for three items after mouthing off about customers in the store to other coworkers (we could easily hear them) Once she scanned all the items she told us the total was $182?! Store value for each item was $50, $30 & $14. After deciding to get rid of one of our items which was the cheapest one it suddenly dropped to $86. The other associates were behind the counter watching and decided to not correct their coworker's lies. Never returning again! read more

Giving this store 2 stars because my tween likes to shop here. 0-1 would be more accurate. Clothing and fashion is a big part of my life. I have been thrifting since I was 15 in the 90's. Good quality clothing and what is on trend is super important to me and I follow this closely. Brought a big stack of clothes in with the likes of Levi's, freepeople and other un known names but on trend items. All in great condition. I also had vintage. They will not take vintage. This was my first time attempting to sell my clothes here. They took nothing. My daughter ended up buying some pieces though. 3 items totaled over $50!!! I was like woah. That seems a little high. Oh well it's for my girl so whatever. While waiting for my clothes to be sorted, I looked through the racks only to find garbage brands like Fashion Nova and SHEIN being sold for way over what you could buy them new for. Lots of Target, Forever 21 and H&M. I would have loved to see quality brands for those prices. They must do something with the better brands they get in. I don't understand the buying process. Is it the owners taste and choice? If so, it's really bad. All the way to the mannequin's outfits on display. I'm sorry I feel really bad saying that, it's sounds so mean girl, but since I spend money there I feel like I can open up about this store. I would say the shoe selection is pretty good. The prices need to come WAAAAY down to move their inventory. Price point is too high to begin with and style of what is stocked is bad. Here's my PSA to the public: stop buying fast fashion from brands like SHEIN, Fashion Nova and the likes. It's so bad for the environment and end up in landfills, they are made in sweat shops and contain forever chemicals that soak into your skin. That is what you are supporting. If you don't believe me do your research. There is plenty out there to read. Our society needs to rethink what we are doing. Hit up actual thrift stores for your fun pieces and buy good high quality brands that are timeless and last for your staple pieces. Your health and Mother Earth will thank you. I drove up from San Clemente and decided to take my chances here even though they have some pretty iffy reviews. I'm originally from Wichita KS and the Uptown Cheapskate there is GREAT. Super organized and trendy. So I thought people here were just butthurt for whatever reason. But, 1) reviews were right - this store smells rancid. Absolutely awful. 2) the whole place is a mess (see images) 3) I'm curious about their buying and selecting process. I understood some of my stuff not making the cut (not everything will, duh). But they passed up items with tags still attached that are fairly new, several designer/boutique shirts from literally last season, as well as, what I consider, nice shoes (also pictured). Steve Madden and Gianni Bini, both of which retail close to $100 and are very in season for spring/summer. I'm going to run up the road to Crossroads and sell the rest of what they passed up. ** I also feel the need to point out that they gave me my box of clothes back in shambles. By no means was my stuff military folded but it was loosely folded and stacked nicely when they got it. They gave it back like a basket of laundry they just dug through. Overall pleasant experience. I came in to sell and the two employees who helped me were really nice and patient. They only took a handful of items out of a whole bin full, but i was okay with what they offered. I took the store credit and was able to find really cute dresses and tops on sale, so i walked out a happy camper. Bottom Line: I recommend. & I will be coming back! read more

I came in, and there were two girls in front of me. I gave them my MASSIVE bag with brand new/barely used clothes. May I add LOTS OF DESIGNER. They didn't even finish the other girl's bags, and mine was already done? They were sorting my clothes ON THE FLOOR. And gave me back my bag saying they didn't find anything. When I got back to my car I noticed THEY DIDN'T EVEN TAKE EVERYTHING OUT OF THE BAG AND LOOKED??? They just took off the top items and said that was it. So so so so disappointed. I went in with 2 bags of clothes. One bag filled with lululemon items. Another bag filled with great quality jeans from high end places and she said there was a few people in front of me so it would be a while. Five minutes later, she calls my name and says she will give me $10. She didn't bother to go through any of the bags she just pulled out two pairs of jeans and said I can keep these Can donate the rest. I asked her if she had looked through both bags and she said Yep so what I needed to see. I will not be going back such a rip off and such rude customer service. read more

I came here to sell some clothes for the first time. I sold them an $80 brand new, never-worn velvet corset with ribbon lacing and real boning for less than $5 :/ They have a good variety of clothes for sale but I hate seeing Shein items for sale at more than 3x what they're worth. I did end up buying a good quality jacket, but I was still disappointed overall. read more

The customer service here was very disappointing. I came to drop off clothes in exchange for money and as I put one bag in the car, I came back and waited for my other bag. After asking, they responded that they had already called my other bag and were incredibly rude in their tone. I understand it was my mistake for leaving the store but their response was very rude. I came in here today, and after reading some of the reviews, I headed in first to see what I needed to do to sell some items. I was greeted as soon as I entered, and there is a sign that says "Sell Here" at the counter. I double checked, and went back out and grabbed my bin of stuff. I had a lot of new clothes, tags still attached, and shoes. I was told it would be about 20-30 minutes so I walked around a little. Once the two chairs opened up, I took a seat and waited. I dont think it was much more than 10 minutes until they called my name. For everything I brought in, I was offered $7.75. I took it, and I donated what they didnt want, which was just about everything... and left with my tail between my legs. My clothes were all either brand new with tags, or worn once. The shoes were also basically brand new. Anyone who knows me, knows I dress with the current style and take good care of my items. In the few minutes I browsed around, I was really turned off by the pricing of the items in the store. I guess I expected them to be much less expensive. The store seems well organized, I just kind of stopped looking after seeing the prices. Next time I will donate my items to the Rescue Mission and move on. Prices were pretty decent. Probably 40-50% off retail price which isn't really too bad. I had a good time here but I felt so bad for the employees afterwards because there was this huge group of kids who came in and just trashed and tossed everything on the floor!!! Not to mention they were screaming and talking super loud to the point where the whole store could hear them. I was able to find a nice Brandy dress here for $13. They have a variety of brands and it's pretty organized. read more

DO NOT GO HERE TO SELL CLOTHES!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I get that when you sell your clothes to a consignment store they will pay $3 tops for your Zara, Lucky Brand, Brandy Melville and Adidas clothing BUT they told me they would take 7 items of my pile which had 60 items and SILLY me I thought I could take their word for it. Once I came home and checked the list of the clothes I had taken, they actually bought 9 items and not 7!!! And when I called them, they said I had no proof of it!!! I love this location! The clothes are great! I have never seen a stained or ripped item any time I've been there. It is well organized with fitting rooms and the staff is always so so nice!!! I'm not one to write negative reviews so it's unfortunate I feel the need to do this if you are looking to sell or shop. The website states they don't want any out of date styles or products that are in very damaged condition but rather "gently used", but walking throughout the store I saw many styles that were at least over 10 years old and a lot of the purses and shoes had dirt, dark stains, scratches, and tears on them that were extremely noticeable yet they were being priced at over $50. Some shoes looked like someone just ran through mud. I understand the store is used pieces so what is brought in won't be in perfect condition, but many pieces were unacceptable for the price and should rather be donated than sold. Being a seller and previously working in the industry, all of the clothing and handbag pieces I brought in I made sure were in mint condition, not over 2 years old, and worn once or not at all as well as cleaned prior to bringing them in as stated by the website. I brought in name brands they had been looking for, yet many pieces they did not take such as Brandy Melville Calvin Klein or Zara with garment labels attached inside. I had a few mid-high luxury designer bags with their original tags and dust bags all originally priced between $350-600 and in current seasonal fashion that they wanted to take. I knew I wouldn't receive a large amount for them as they were pre owned, but $10 for a $600 bag was an unfair in my eyes. You only learn their selling policy after they examine all of your items and give them your information. After calculating it seems as though the sellers will only receive 1-3% if that which should be clearer on the website, and it was also unclear how they came up with the final pricing without knowing the original prices of everything? She explained they sell their pieces in store to customers at 70% (which seemed more like 50% for some items which many are very old styles) and you'll get 25% of that cost... if that were the case my bags should've been closer to $40 not $10. She then proceeded to say if the owner were there (they weren't sure when she'd be back in store) she could maybe sell it to me higher? Sounds a little scammy. If you have inexpensive items you are looking to get rid of and may have minimal damage that you cannot sell elsewhere then this is a great place to sell... not any expensive, loosely or unworn, or quality pieces because you may be lowballed. Edit for the owner: Thank you for your response I appreciate your time and offering to look again as this was my first time in this store, but I am certain no one looked up any prices of clothing or bags online as their examining for me took about 10 minutes max -- I provided original tags in the bags as well so they should've seen those prices and as stated they were all under 2 years old, 4 being from this past year as I worked in the handbag industry at that time. As for the sneakers, I used to be a sneaker head myself and the Jordans I saw were not worth nearly $200 when they were sold in retail but they were not lightly scuffed. I also saw a pair of old vans that went for about $60 priced at $30 in your store that were completely ruined with the midsoles covered in dirt and the fabric was very worn down, so I don't understand the 70% price down policy the employee stated you followed. I wasn't planning on writing a review when seeing these items as I left after the buyer called me up so I'm unfortunately unable to show you. I respect this business as thrifting is a great way of recycling, but I would recommend to your employees especially after reading more reviews to be more strict with this as you state on your website to clean items prior and they should be lightly used. Customers such as myself would prefer seeing quality over quantity, and it sounds as though many people under these reviews brought in great quality pieces in comparison to many sold in store. read more

I keep telling myself I not going to go back for the past few years and I attempt and always sorry I did. The merchandise, especially shoes, are dirty and over priced. I can go to less expensive consignment stores and find better quality for less. The service there, especially management is very unprofessional as well as inconsistent on what they "buy." As I was pointing that out to a manger today she was uneducated on how to respond and walked away from me. She had every excuse in the book. I'm giving this review only 3 stars because they really don't give you anything for brand new items. I tried selling a brand new 200$ coach bag and they wanted to give me 10$ for it. Just ridiculous. I went there prior to ask them what they were looking for and I brought everything they asked including new items and they took nothing! It's like what's the point. I just wasted my time. In the time of waiting for them looking for my clothes I did find a pair of wedge leopard sandals that were brand new decent price and happy I purchased. Only I got all my items back I noticed as I was going through my basket I was missing an article of clothing and thought why would they steal from me when I purchased from them!? I bet this place is cool to shop at, but i would not describe "gently used" as a description of the items they will accept from people coming in to sell. I brought in several bags and 3 pieces of jewelry. There were several pieces i had expected to sell without a doubt. 1 was a Nordstrom clutch bag that was brand new and used once (in excellent condition) and the jewelry consisted of an Alex and Ani bracelet in perfect condition, as well as a Kate Spade bracelet in perfect condition. Overall a bit shocked i didn't get to sell anything out of the load i brought in and wish there was more specific details of what to bring & what not to bring in. However that being said, their selective process of buying clothing items does mean that they probably have a high quality selection of items to sell throughout the store. read more
