Terrible store. Took a bag full of brand new free people items all with the tags still attached. They didn't want to purchase a single item even though if you check their website it says they offer a higher dollar amount for free people items. Waste of time having to wait 45 minutes for literally nothing. On top of that they put items back in my bag that weren't even mine...so much for the bins having a purpose. I came to this store today 9/19/24 to sell some clothes I brought at least 60 pieces & 8 pair of shoes a young man help me out and told me it will take some time to sort it out and go over my stuff. He said I can look around the store or I can just wait. So I decided to check the place out. Maybe 5 minutes later I was looking from far I noticed this guy didn't even really look at my stuff that I'm selling he picked maybe 6 items and less than 10 minutes he was done. I'm very disappointed with this place this guy didn't even bother checking out the jeans & tops that I brought in. Most of the stuff are still in very good condition. He did such a poor & lazy job. I will never recommend or come to this place ever again. I wasted my time & effort I drove from Tustin to this stupid place! Is not even worth a penny!! Best thrift/second hand store in orange county. All the employees have been great and we come here fairly regularly. The clothes they have are picked very well and there are always gems when we go. I brought 2 bags of summer clothes here to sell. Cute trendy pieces not aged styles by any means. There was a 20 min wait so I decided to walk around and check out what kind of clothes they were selling. I browsed every isle of the Women's section. I didn't imagine at that time that my clothes would be rejected as they were even cuter than most of what I was sifting through. After the 20 min they called me up and said they could not buy any of my clothes because they wouldn't sell well there. They offered to take my 2 full bags of clothes as a donation! I think their goal is to have people donate their clothes and they could put it on the racks for 100% profit. I took my clothes and left. I'll let my friends go through them and take what they want vs. give it to a store with dishonest intentions. When I came home I read the reviews here which I should have done first. Lesson learned! Waste of time after they require you to input all your info into their tablet before even looking at your clothes. When I left I got a text message that I opted into receiving messages from them. My first time here a few days ago and I was very excited to find cute trendy secondhand clothing for cheap. There's a huge sign outside the store that boasts 70% off retail prices which made me more excited. I stepped in and went to the "new" section where I assume they keep their new arrivals. These items were from no-name brands that you can find at TJ Maxx, Papaya, or liquidation close out sales--Miracle and Ambience to name what I can remember. Prices? Same as what you would pay at the above stores. $16.99 for sweaters, $29.99 for jackets. Ok... not what I was expecting. They were new with tags and they had multiples of each item, which was nice but made me curious if they were donated or purchased wholesale from the manufacturers. That's not secondhand and not what this secondhand store should be doing--leave that up to TJ Maxx and Ross. I kept browsing and went to the back of the store with the rest of the women's clothing. I was specifically looking for jackets, sweaters, boots, and sneakers. The selection for jackets and sweaters was very slim with maybe 5-10% of the clothing being these categories. Ok... maybe I came too late in the season and the racks were already picked through. I looked at shoes, didn't find anything in my size (6-6.5). Prices? Average of $20 for a used, stained pair. Nope. Staff: a bunch of teenage/college age girls, I find that's very common in these BST stores. They were just jabbing on very loudly about their clubs at school which was a little annoying. Please hire older people. Why would you trust a whole store to a bunch of teenagers? I also read through some of the reviews here and the owner is very unprofessional and immature, looks like she is replying to comments and insulting the customers if they leave bad reviews. Well Jo Ann W, I'm looking forward to what insults you throw my way. TLDR; prices are way too high for used/secondhand. There are many NWT items but that's not what I'm looking for in a (get ready for a shock) SECONDHAND store. 70% off retail sign up front is a lie. Their inventory is a mix of super old falling apart clothing that has been worn to the last thread & "new" items that are no name brands you can buy cheaper @ Ross next door. I've given this place multiple chances but time and time again coming here is a complete waste of time! Forget about trying to sell them anything! And if they decide to take anything, prepare to give it up for next to nothing! I took three bags full of brand-name clothes new with tags on them and they only wanted to buy four items that were new with tags for $17. The buyer girl was not polite and she said they only shop for high school students and made me feel like I'm old and outdated even though I'm not and the people shopping there were mostly families not just high school people. I feel like other than the store being unreasonable, undercutting what they are paying for trendy items, the sales girl was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I've never been to another sell/buy shop so I'll just review what I experienced as a first timer. They don't give cash for items on Sundays so that was my first mistake because I drove all the way there and had to go back home, they only do store credit in exchange. So I went back during the week and you have to check-in on their iPad and once they look through your stuff you can look around the store or sit on their comfortable seats located in the middle of the store while you wait for them to call you. I looked around the store and they have pretty good items if you're interested in buying things but I definitely have too much stuff at home so I was just looking just because. I turned in 2 big bags of clothes and tons of shoes. They finally called me up and they only accepted 5 items which I was very disappointed about but there's nothing I can do about it. So they told me how much it would be if I wanted store credit and how much it would be if I wanted cash. I definitely didn't get much but I feel like that's how it is in any store like this. One good thing about this place is that they actually offer to donate the rest of your stuff that they didn't accept so I was just happy to get rid of everything and good to know they'll still donate it. read more

This store is really expensive for second hand low end - mid end name brand clothes....especially considering the fact that they rip people off to obtain their merchandise. Better off going to a place like good will or other thrift stores chains to get the same kind of clothes at much cheaper prices. Would not recommend trying to sell here. Visited the store on a busy Saturday night this past weekend. Needed some leggings because mine are terrible. I heard there was a huge sale going on right when I walked in, and it was 20% off red tags which was amazing! I found 2 incredible pairs of leggings in great condition and they were on sale! My biggest complaint is how they do their buys. I just don't understand it, like the other reviews here. Is there some kind of trick or sorcery to sell your clothes here? I literally gave them a brand new pair of classic converse shoes in size 7.5 (a very common size) with tags and in original box and got $7 cash in return. I know it's a thrift store and I'm not supposed to expect a whole lot, but really, $7? I was surprised and the guy just said that that was their guidelines. Like ok.... it's really hard for me to get rid of my clothes here. I always come with a big bag of clothes and there are times that they don't even take anything. Stuff I bring in ranges from hollister/target to designer Chanel/Phillip lim/helmut Lang. I usually just let them keep the clothes to donate cuz I just wanna get rid of it but wow... like nothing?
