A cute little thrift store in Lake Forest. Parking is easy. It's just a couple doors down from…read moreSecond Impressions, which is their sister store. I've been there quite a few times but hadn't had a chance to come to Inspired. When I went they had a sale where all clothing was $5. The sales clerk was very helpful with pointing out the price of other items in the store as well - scarves, jewelry, bags - as everything was on special discount. I love the way they curate their selections. I found a couple of shirts in the men's section that I liked. Everything here is new or like new. And they often carry designer clothing. I had a great experience shopping in this store and I'll be back in the future!

I did not realize this store was here, and owned by the same person as the thrift store at the end…read moreof the walkway, which I have been to a few times. That's where I was headed when I found this place last week. We went in, and its very nicely decorated and has a lot of fun stuff. Tried on a few things, and ended up buying three items, and spent about $50. The employees were very nice and helpful. The problem I have, is after going to the thrift store, and not finding anything, and walking around a couple times just looking at items... we left. We walked back to the car, and what I can figure is the owner as all questions go to him, break schedules are told by him, etc. he walked out behind us and followed us giving us the side eye in my car. I have spent money at both locations, but my friend and I looked at each other after this like wait, really? It was extremely odd and uncomfortable and honestly offensive. I will take my actual business elsewhere as it seems we gave you reason to feel we were suspicious. Which, I am really trying to figure out why.

Huge shoutout to Cameron for friendly, patient, and upfront customer service. M&M staff, take notes…read morefrom him, cause that's how you build a loyal customer base. I came in looking for a Charmander 044 and he helped review the better of the two cards they had in stock. He showed me current market value / last sold prices and offered me a great price. Cameron also double sleeved and added a top loader to protect the card. That meant a lot to me. So thanks again Cameron and keep up the awesome customer service!

Saw this vendor at Fanime this past weekend and unfortunately had a negative experience…read more Not only were many of their Pokémon cards priced above current market value, but they also charged sales tax on top of already inflated prices. A few attendees also inquired about trades and were offered around 80% trade value, which is fair for a convention setting. BUT they charged tax during trades, making the effective trade value/percentage even worse. (so that $100 ETB you wanted to trade for was actually $110) These kinds of business practices feel overly greedy and are disappointing to see in the Pokémon community. There are plenty of other vendors and card shops at conventions who price more fairly, offer better trade rates, and treat customers with more respect. I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere when possible

This store is a T J Maxx & Home Goods combined. But it carries so much more of the home goods stuff…read morethan clothing. It used to have a lot of high line designers (clothing and shoes). But not so much anymore since after the pandemic. Yet, still some good buys if you have time to look through their stuff. The store is somewhat messy and could be a bit more organized. I seem to always find stuff for my home here, Service is good. Long line most of the times so be patient if you want some bargains.

There were 32 people in line and only five cashiers ringing. I asked the manager if he could call…read morefor additional cashiers, which he did, but only briefly. About 10 minutes later, two cashiers left for break, leaving just three cashiers to handle a line of more than 30 customers. I understand that reading a review from the comfort of home may make this sound like a minor complaint, but after standing in line for over 30 minutes and still being only two-thirds of the way to the register, most customers would be frustrated as well. The manager even announced over the intercom that they were receiving complaints and needed more cashiers. While I understand managers may have limitations on ringing customers themselves, I would expect a seasoned manager to monitor the line proactively and staff accordingly before the situation became this extreme. Long checkout lines happen occasionally, but this felt like poor planning and a lack of attention to the customer experience. This is the manager he's trying the best he can, but apparently it is corporate crunching down on them and not allowing more cashiers. The cashiers are stressed out at the people in line getting angry because literally I waited an hour in line. The consensus I heard while in line was that corporate is not allowing them to hire more.
