Attentive, personable, and consistently on top of everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. The food was delicious, and the whole experience matched the welcoming energy Abi set at the start. We left happy, satisfied, and already planning to come back. I want to add that the vegan waffles and pancakes were the best I have had in the United States.

When we walked inside, we were seated immediately. I ordered the Garden Gathering omelette which normally comes with a side of homefries and toast. I substituted the homefries for a cup of fresh fruit. I also tried a small pancake from my mom which was very fluffy and light. The portions were pretty good and the food was fresh. The prices are reasonable. Service was prompt and the food came out fast once we ordered. When we were leaving there was a pretty large crowd waiting to be seated. Overall, it's a solid, classic breakfast spot right in the heart of downtown Rutherford.

While meandering around our local neighborhood, my husband and I stumbled upon this tiny diner and…read moregave it a try. We're so glad we did, because this hole in the wall turned out to be a diamond in the rough. With a nondescript exterior and limited signage, Foodies Diner is easy to miss. It's in an area with mainly houses and mixed use commercial buildings, but the space inside is cozy. I especially appreciated the way the owner greeted everyone who enters and thanked everyone who leaves with notable warmth and small-town friendliness. The menu reads like a true diner - with all-day breakfast and brunch options, as well as standard lunch fare. We ordered a Santa Fe salad and an L.A. burger - which comes with avocado, bacon, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes. The burger was pretty standard, but having it delivered on a warm brioche bun feels a little bit special. The accompanying fries were also great - crisp and potatoey on the inside. The salad, on the other hand, was a near triumph. Served on a large platter, there was a small field of well-seasoned chicken, shredded cheddar, vegetables, avocado, pico de gallo, and - best yet - some pieces of warm, toasted pita. I even sprinkled some pieces of bacon from my burger into this salad, and wow did that take it over the top. I dug into this salad with fair gusto and would absolutely come back for it...which is saying something, since I wouldn't expect to fall in love with a salad at a diner. Service was fantastic, and we were pleased with how reasonably priced our meal turned out to be. There's plenty of parking - either right out front or in the lot further back.

Great ambiance, food, staff, service, drinks, decor, I loved it all!!!!…read more I picked to come back for Mother's Day. We had reservations, and we were seated on time. We never sat inside so were super excited . And I must say it was absolutely perfect. We must have had 5 separate ppl taking great care of us. Made us feel like VIP. The food was beyond delicious. We finished all 6 Courses. Greek food at its finest! I can't wait to go back.

Forgot to review this place after coming for a birthday party dinner earlier this year (winter). We…read moresat at the bar and had a pricey mojito while waiting for the group to arrive. We had a large group, and they seated us at 2 separate and crowded tables in the side room, which was less than ideal (with a reservation). It also got really hot because the room was packed. They were pushing us to order everything family style, but everyone wanted to order individually. The two of us weren't super hungry, and asked for our entrees to be on a separate check before ordering, which they would not do. Since I knew we were going to end up splitting the check with the one table, I ended up getting a more expensive entree to make up for the apps and drinks we weren't having (I already had a drink from the bar and my husband doesn't drink). I settled on the special lobster carbonara (which I think was $75). Good, but overpriced. My husband had the filet mignon - it was cooked as requested but we prefer more seasoning. A friend passed her grilled scallops over to us to finish - I took one bite and it tasted like ammonia. I discreetly spat it out. For her sake, I hope the rest didn't taste like that. The atmosphere was loud and hard to have conversations. They did a conga line around the restaurant later in the evening. Not really my scene. Service was slow and it didn't seem like they could handle big groups, even when split up. We ended up staying here for about 3 hours. We ended up leaving before we were even offered dessert. Also, keep in mind they have valet parking.

They have many flavors to choose from for the hookah set up and even milk or red bull base as well as lollipop tips! On top of that it's auto 20% tip for slow service. It started raining outside and we had to relocate inside and they had told us they would bring our hookah in for us but never did. I have yet to try the food but everything that was being brought out to other tables smelled great. Would be open to go back for brunch or dinner and hopefully have better service.
