I got the Urartu Twist. It was mocha with caramel and was delicious. The coffee is very good and gives you a nice mild jolt of bold coffee. Very nice people working here. I will come back soon.

$8ish dollars for a banana and green iced tea, a little pricey but it's LA. Plus it's good to support a local business. Great service here also, they brought the drink to my table I was sitting on. Got harassed by a moth in the corner also. Good quiet study spot!

I absolutely love this family owned and operated coffee shop! The space is filled with warmth and character--beautiful Armenian inspired artifacts, paintings and books that make it feel more like a cultural haven than just a café. The rich aroma of freshly brewd coffee fills the air with hypnotizing notes that draws you in and make you want to stay! We tried both iced coffee and lattes, and each sip was bold, smooth and verysatisfying. The pastries and sweets paired perfectly, adding to the cozy, home-like atmosphere. Service was impeccable: genuine, attentive and welcoming. It truly felt as though I was enjoying coffee and desserts at my auntie's house, surrounded by comfort, tradition and hospitalty. This isn't just a place to grab a cup of coffee, it's an experience: a blend of culture, flavor, and family warmth that leaves you wanting to return again and again.

Good people, friendly and nice, they have excellent quality of coffee and pasties :) it's a very chill place, very clean inside and out. They have outside seating that you can enjoy the fresh air and also inside if you want a more quiet atmosphere.

This place upon entry felt comfy and relaxing, and it was nice and quiet too. I came here in the morning with my bf trying out coffee spots and I found this place! Everyone was nice and welcoming. The coffee I ordered was an iced banana oat latte, and it wasn't too overly sweet or bitter-- it was just right! It was a good kind of strong, and I was still able to taste the hints of banana in it. My bf ordered the urartu twist, and he said it was one of the best coffees he's ever had!

So thankful Urartu exists we need more places like this. Clean, comfortable, yummy food and drinks, kind employees. I feel right at home. The sandwiches are made with really fresh ingredients, no fake stuff here

It was ok. Menu items pictured from last year looked way better than what I received. Felt that ingredients could be better and fresher, namely the red radish. There were bruised parts that could have easily been hidden or cut off. I would not order the avocado toast again. Service was friendly but slow. It was also a little awkward because cashier decided to start on the order after I listed a few items without first taking my full order. Interior clean and fun chess board available to play with family or friends. Outdoor patio seating option was great for sunny weather. 90 min free parking in nearby structure.

I got the Urartu Twist and it was definitely up my alley. I love Vietnamese Coffee and the strong base and sweetness reminded me of it. Coffee house is really good and would definitely recommend if you are in the area and you need a caffeine boost.

Not sure why I never wrote a review for this coffee shop but here it is. Located on Artsakh Street this coffee shops serves delicious coffee drinks including Armenian coffee. I love their cold brew coffee, it's just perfect. My husband likes the americano. You can't go wrong with any of their drinks. And if you are not happy just let them know. They sell few kinds of sweets and also sandwiches and toasts. Indoor seating g is cozy and has a great ambiance. There is also outdoor seating on the closed off street. Perfect to meet up friends or business colleagues. Customer service is always great here, friendly and attentive staff. A family owned coffee shop that treats you like family. One of my favorite coffee stops when in the area.

Would definitely come back again! The owner is friendly and welcoming. Quick service and delicious coffee. Will try their food next time

I had a difficult time finding this place but I called and the lady that answered was extremely helpful and flagged me down amazing. I had the banana latte and the urartu omelette in a croissant talk about amazing i didn't ask if their croissant were made that morning but that was deliciously soft and amazing. The banana latte definitely tasted like bananas which i was going bananas for lol . It was a nice little place with many paintings which i loved to look at. I recommend. The orange juice was also delicious.

If it wasn't for the location, I don't think the restaurant would be nearly as popular. Our server was friendly, but not as attentive as we would've liked. We were seated outside and I found myself looking inside for her on more than one occasion. Even with the good company, I felt the dinner dragging because of this. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Bowl while everyone else had pasta. We enjoyed our food, but agreed that neither the portion nor the flavor entice us enough to come back. Town Kitchen & Grill is in a great location with solid food and nice staff, but it doesn't standout against the neighboring competition enough for me to go out of my way for it.

(My husband had the steak and mushroom penne, friends had the Chimchurri steak and the wedge salad) The negatives: I had the shrimp risotto and found it blah. The serving was very small - i feel like American portions are often obscenely large (and don't like that), but this was much smaller than average and I was still hungry after eating it. The flavor was ok, but nothing to write home about. And the shrimp were very small - what my husband and I call "bait" shrimp. Not the large shrimp you usually get at a nice restaurant. Since i was still hungry, I ordered a cobbler. It was fine, but not great. Texture was a bit strange - not traditional. Probably won't come back. The food is just not that interesting. It's like the kind of food you'd eat at a Midwestern buffet restaurant.

Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café…read more Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café reminded me that we live for the wonderful experiences that remain to be discovered. After a wonderful lunch date with my wife at Raffi's Place (please read my review and thank me later) in Glendale, I decided to look for the perfect dessert. After scouting several nearby locations, I decided I was in the mood for a great cinnamon roll. Sweet Demi Lune Bakery & Café looked like the place that would deliver the experience I was seeking. SDLBC is listed as being in Glendale, but it's located in the historic Old Town of Montrose. That's beside the point; I only mention it because there are additional places to explore just up the street. We arrived around 3:00 p.m. on a Saturday, and there wasn't much of a selection left, including the highly sought-after cinnamon roll. The gentleman behind the counter greeted us warmly, and I immediately asked if that was all the pastries they had. He said yes. I contemplated leaving because of the nonexistent cinnamon roll, but I didn't want to be rude, so I decided to give the bakery a try since we were already there. So, we basically took half of what remained behind the glass display case: a Peach Almond Croissant, a Raspberry Pistachio Croissant, an Almond Croissant, and then my curiosity focused on a few lonely-looking pastries that were unfamiliar to my discerning eyes. I asked the gentleman what they were, and he replied with something that sounded completely foreign to me: Kouign-Amann. Kouign-Amann (pronounced queen ah-MAHN) is a traditional pastry from the region of Brittany, France. It is often considered one of the richest pastries in the world because it is made with just a few simple ingredients in generous proportions: bread dough, butter, and sugar. Figuring we needed a few more sweets for the road, we took all the remaining Kouign-Amanns. Two were the traditional version, and the other two were filled with crème and blueberry jam. We also ordered a Café Americano and a Café Mocha. While we waited for our drinks, I simply couldn't wait any longer. Like a kid on Christmas morning, I eagerly opened my gift and dug right into the Kouign-Amann. Hesitantly, I tore off a tiny piece with my fingers, expecting nothing extraordinary, and instantly gave birth to a brand-new experience that exploded in my mouth. The crisp exterior gave way to the soft, flaky center, followed by waves of what tasted like delicate honey. I tore off another piece and shared it with my wife. One look at her eyes told me she wanted more. By the time our drinks were ready, we had devoured one of the Kouign-Amanns and confessed to the gentleman behind the counter that we had just experienced pure ecstasy in the form of a pastry. Kouign-Amann is, in fact, one of the richest pastries in the world, so don't let the unfamiliar name keep you from trying one. The Café Americano and the Café Mocha were also exceptionally well prepared. With everything that's happening in the world these days, a simple yet profound experience like this reminded me how wonderful life can still be. Like Arnold said... "I'll be back." Enjoy!

I love the indoor seating, but they also have outdoor seating. I washed it down with a short Americano, two shots and I threw in some extra cream. It's delicious. I have to tell you this chocolate mousse cake is the right portion otherwise I would eat the whole thing in this case the powers that be more wise and gave me a slice and Man was it delicious.

The menu has a lot of offerings but isn't too overwhelming. We got the crispy pork belly, which came with some pork rind chips and guacamole. It was a good size and tasted like a salad w beans. But I typically love tostadas so this was fine! My husband got the burger which was literally just a burger. No frills. lol! We liked the fries. We thought he was a new employee because he had no clue what he was doing. He had NO personality no interest in general. When he first came to our table he didn't say hello or offer us appetizers or a cocktail. He asked for our dinner order. We ordered the fajita quesadilla and a combo plate. Daniel brought me the wrong taco; the taco was mostly lettuce and cheese very little meat ~ I was surprised because when I ordered this in the past it was excellent and done right (Not his fault tho he did write down my taco order incorrectly). He never came back to our table to check on us. When we were done we asked for a box because we had a lot of food left. He looked at it and brought us a tiny box. What was he thinking?? We asked the bus boy for another and he brought us the correct size. It was hard to get Daniels attention; we tried a few times to flag him down but he wasn't looking at us. We watched him a few different times throughout our time there, to see how he was with the other tables. We came to the conclusion that he looked like a fish out of water. Maybe he was overwhelmed even though the restaurant was a little more than half full last night at 5:30. Then he brought us our check while we were still eating! I told him I wanted to order dessert. Again, he had no clue what he was doing. I suggest the management take a look at this review and address this issue with him. Our experiences here have always been great, been coming for years. We love this place but we would never have Daniel as our server again.
