We eat at Urban Egg frequently and until today it's been great. First, let me say, our server was friendly and enthusiastic. Only complaint about service was that she didn't check back on us so I couldn't remedy my food issue. The food issue- I had classic Benedict and it appeared cold hollandaise had been put on my overcooked eggs. My partner's omelet was piping hot and good. Both of our potatoes were barely warm. This was one poor experience from many good ones so I'm reluctant to downgrade my review more than one star. On its own, this would have been 2 stars. We'll take a break from UE for now. read more

Urban Egg is one of our favorite go to breakfast places on the weekends. They're popular and the wait-list can be long but it's worth the wait. Staff are always very friendly and seem very happy to be there. Can't say that about many places. The dirty chai is delicious. Their pancakes are a wonderful size and so very flavorful. I love their cinnamon swirl and Hawaiian varieties. Chicken or the egg and the basic breakfast plate are my typical choices, though their breakfast tacos are also tasty. Urban Egg has become a staple for us on the weekend mornings when we don't want to cook. They are consistently friendly, timely, and, well, consistent. The dirty chais are fabulous and addictive (both hot and iced), the various plates we've tried have been satisfying, though at times a bit greasy. And the portions are large enough to leave us not needing lunch (unless I get the breakfast tacos, which are on the lighter side). It's nice to see consistency in the faces there as well - which are always smiling and friendly, telling me they treat their people well! read more

Well, I meant to take pictures of my food but was too busy eating. I enjoyed their breakfast burrito but to be honest I wanted my husband steak and eggs. His was perfectly paired with portobello mushrooms and loaded hash browns. I did enjoy this delicious chai coffee mixed with black and white. Think it was called urchata? The place was packed which tells you hot good they are. Our waiter was very friendly and kind, which is rare these days so thank you for that! I went in to eat brunch on my break from work yesterday and had a very unfortunate experience. There was a VERY loud man on a business call sitting a few tables away from me, he was raising his voice and yelling during his call. I spoke with the waiter and was informed that the loud man was the CEO of the company?!?!? Is this the standard you are setting for your company? I understand it is a shared space, but there has to be somewhere else for this rude man to conduct his business. The waiter was great, food was great as always. One of my girlfriend brought me here the other day to enjoy breakfast. The entire ride there she was raving about everything there from their juice to their meals. So, I was extremely excited to try them. We were seated right away when we walked in, which is always a plus. I feel like most breakfast joints have a long wait. I came to Urban Egg for Saturday morning brunch with a group of 4 friends, and we got on the Yelp wait list ahead of time which helped us get seated only a few minutes after arriving. The menu had good options--I'm Celiac and eat gluten free, another friend eats gluten free and dairy free, and another friend is a vegetarian--we all had plenty of food to choose from. I got the Tatum's Avocado Toast on gf bread and a virgin Bloody Mary, and both were delicious. Others at the table got the loaded hash browns, biscuits and gravy, Tuscan Benedict on gf english muffin, breakfast quinoa--we all really enjoyed our dishes! My favorite brunch spot, hands down. The service is always ON point, the food is consistently incredible, and the vibe of the place is just perfect. I've tried a few different things but my favorite is biscuit and gravy. Their gravy is unbeatable. Tastes like my Nana's!! I also highly recommend either the Rise n Pine Martini or their Maui Wowie. In town for work, figured I'd check out a local place to the Denver Tech area was very pleasantly surprised , this is located in a newer-ish looking building. I parked in the parking structure three hours are free which was great. It was rainy outside, and it was an easy little walk. Very busy great atmosphere instead of waiting I sat at the bar, which was great, my bartender and waitress was very friendly. Found this gem on Yelp and reserved a spot for our group on the waiting list. I love that feature since it cuts down on time you have to wait when you arrive. We did have to cancel and reserve a later spot on the list but Yelp made that really easy. By the time we arrived the crowd was gone so we were quickly seated on the patio. Our server was awesome and she gave us some recommendations for meals to try. I went with the breakfast burrito and a side of fruit.
