We had an absolutely wonderful experience here at Urban Ink yesterday! My fiancée and I were thrilled to find Urban Ink Gallery as we searched for a tattoo shop to do custom work for our anniversary. We were able to set up an appointment over Instagram DMs, but there's a Facebook booking tool as well, which is super convenient! We came into the shop expecting just a consult, but DeShawn and Don Louie were available to tattoo us on the spot! The whole process was not only super comfortable, but we felt a warm, extravagant welcome from start to finish. Both artists' prices were *extremely* fair, and the tattoos look GREAT. Urban Ink Gallery will absolutely be our new go-to spot for all of our tattoo needs! I want to note that the space was super clean and upscale while still being very home-y and welcoming. The art on the walls and throughout the shop is absolutely gorgeous. We even got to talk about music quite extensively (check out the AMAZING mural of Black musical legends right next to the door). I honestly want to go back just to hang out here with these amazing artists and people! Just one more reason to ponder new tattoo ideas! Quick note: they do walk-ins and piercing! Let me start by saying that I'm not a fan of tattoos. However, I took my grandson here for his 18th birthday and was extremely impressed with Don's professionalism, passion for his work, knowledge and talent. He crafted a beautiful memorial tattoo for my grandson's mom and imparted true wisdom to him as well. The shop has a coffee shop in the front and a nice vibe throughout. read more

Came in with my fiancé and got tattooed by Deshawn. He was amazing honestly. Very communicative, good vibes, he took his time and made sure it was what we wanted. He made lines thicker or shading darker when I asked and made it a great experience. It was Friday the 13th so we came in for a deal but we both agreed we would back to him for his customer service and artistry. I actually wish I had pulled more cash out so I could tip him but I'll be sure to double up next time I go to him. I had an appointment with another shop where the artist flaked. So I came here instead. The owner and everyone else in the shop is totally professional, extremely friendly and, most important, very talented. The shop is super clean, and they constantly sanitize and wipe surfaces down. I have a burn scar on my left shoulder that I'm very self-conscious about. So I decided to cover it with a tattoo. I knew exactly what I had in mind and he made it happen. I was concerned because tattoo ink shows up different on people of color. You really have to know what you're doing to get it right. Don did the colors better than I had hoped! The tattoo turned out AMAZING!! Their prices are also really reasonable! I'm so glad the other artist flaked on me. I highly recommend this tattoo shop! I'll never go anywhere else! read more

Goodness, where do I begin!? I absolutely love Don hospitality, kindness, the gift God gave to him, his honesty and his ability to truly listen to his clients desires when it comes to tattooing! I have over 20 tattoos I guess you can say, so I know a great Artist when I see one. I'm totally addicted to tattoos! Don is very easy to work with, and price is very good and affordable. Being at his shop is also fun! He plays great music, great conversations and he offers beverages and he really makes you feel comfortable! Most importantly his shop IS VERY CLEAN!!! If you are a first timer to tattoos, then Don will truly make your anxiety go away! I've already referred 5 people to him and they all are extremely satisfied with his work! I went to this company for a tattoo The business is very well kept. I was tattooed by a really nice young lady. The tattoo came out to my liking but then a few days later it began to fade in a big way I mean as if invisible ink. I called left her a message and text no reply until days later. To voice the situation. She was understanding made it seem like it would be fixed never heard back. I called back spoke with the Manager sent before and after photo. He said it held up well what it's dissolved. And as a manager if you were able to reach the tattoo artist you should be able to fix it or get someone who can. It reminds me of when I watch INK MASTER. The redeem yourself episodes. Still no word it's been a week At this point I'll have to pay for it to be corrected. I thought I'd be able to give a rave review. Some good points the shop is nice and clean have a good vibe but my quality on this tattoo very very disappointing and the pain of getting it done. I had a great experience last night at Urban Ink Gallery. I was fortunate to meet Antone, we hit it off right away and I gave him creative freedom on a tattoo I already had but needed updating. He did a great job! I'm in love with my tattoo again, it's not finished yet! But I will definitely be returning to Urban Ink Gallery to finish and look forward to seeing the folks there. Went in for a tattoo cover-up. He was late, had weeks to draw it up yet decided to free hand. Put a shadow on it that I didn't ask for, didn't cover up the original tattoo used light colors, and none of it was fully filled in. Now I'm going to go somewhere else to get it fixed. Urban Ink Gallery was recommended to me by a family member in June 2021. I have visited for three sessions to date, and am absolutely delighted with the gallery, the services and the staff. The business is conveniently located, with ample public parking available. The facility is spacious, well lit, and very clean. There is comfortable seating available, replete with many types of visual interest in the lobby, as the client awaits access to the art salons. Don is very careful to sanitize equipment, supplies, work surfaces and the human canvases. He is a very professional and highly talented artist. He ensures a comfort level, proportionate to the artistic processes (Tattoos). At the mere suggestion of a conceptual image, he creates magnificent designs, with extreme attention to detail. As he works, he hosts his clients with music, ambience, conversation and humor. He is very respectful, and a gentleman (absolutely not as he was described in one individual's disjointed review).
