Came here to accompany my friend getting a tattoo! Such an eclectic spot! Met some of the artist and they were all down to earth. The only complaint is the parking so arrive early if you have an appointment. The tattoo artist my find had did an amazing job! She really listens so well to carry out the vision of the customers. I'm tempted to get some work done here for sure read more

I LOVE this place! My friend and I came in for walk in tattoos and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They were able to get us in same day which was amazing! Mason was our tattoo artist and he was incredible! He took so much time and care in making sure the tattoos we wanted were exactly right and then the experience itself was so fun! Mason was so kind and patient and a great conversationalist. He made us feel right at home! He's also extremely talented. The best looking tattoo I've ever gotten for sure. Came here last week for my first tattoo ever and worked with Paul to get it done! I came in with an idea for original tattoo and he was able to take that and make something great! We were able to text ahead of time and he showed me designs he created that I was able to refine and give notes on. He graciously accepted all of the notes I had and worked with me to create the tattoo of my dreams. Knowing it was my first tattoo ever he also set expectations of what the experience would be like for me for before, during and after the tattoo. He was extremely thorough and detailed with me in every type of way. I love how the tattoo came out and would 100% come back here for any further tattoos and highly recommend everyone else to come here for any tattoo needs hey have! read more

Finally bit the bullet and got another tattoo after a decade since my last one! Leslie was my tattoo artist, and she did a fantastic job. She was very patient as I went through several design changes and placements during our session (sorry!). Overall, couldn't be happier: lines are even and clean, and the tattoo has healed up nicely after a month. Rest of the staff are friendly and welcoming, and I would recommend Rabble Rouser Tattoo to anyone who's interested in getting a tattoo, whether it's their first or their 100th one! read more

I've now gotten two tattoos here, a cover-up by Kenny and a quarter sleeve by Alayna. Both did incredibly beautiful custom work and were thoughtful and responsive when I requested tweaks to get the designs just how I wanted. They were also incredibly cool and fun to chat with while they worked--important consideration when you're spending 6+ hours one-on-one with someone! Will definitely be back for my next tattoo(s)--I'm hooked! read more

This shop is very clean and professional. Staff are quite friendly! Great for a first time tattoo. Their online website is very nice, you can browse through each artist's work and see which style best fits your aspirations. You can schedule a free virtual consultation and book an appointment if you decide to move forward. Prices are pretty reasonable! I got a tattoo on my forearm that took around an hour, and it was $180. Kenny Takar was my tattoo artist, he's great! Definitely pays a lot of attention to detail and goes for perfection, which I appreciate. Definitely check this place out! read more

I apologize for the long review but it is so worth it! Let me just say if i could give them 10 stars i would! I have gotten a tattoo before at a not so good shop in my home town, so getting a second on i really did my research. After looking around at the shops around my house in LA ( i like to keep my spending locally) i came across Rabble Rouser. Now to give you context of my situation, i messaged the shop on New Years Eve and was not expecting a response since it was a holiday but i was inquiring about the next day (New Years Day) just to see what could happen so i can get some fresh ink for the new year. After messaging the shop i got almost in immediate response saying that they will for sure look into in bc they normally are not open that day but wanted to check and see if anyone would be at the shop. Pleasantly surprised i was ecstatic by just the possibility of it happening. About and hour or so (after mid night) i got another message saying that there will be someone there and what time would i like, i chose a time and we where all set. I really appreciated the responsiveness of the inquiry and that it was such a great experience for the get go. We arrived at the shop, being the first ones there as we where early, and as we check the door Paul (the shop owner) comes up to great us and opens the shop. He was so kind, knew my name and offered us water or anything we needed. We told him to take his time as we were in no rush, and agter about 20 min already had my tattoo printed and sized (after a brief convo about placement) he got the size and style right off the bat and he re drew it, which was great. He prepped his station and showed me all the needles he was going to use which where all in sterilized medical packaging. As we start tattooing he constantly checked in with me to make sure i was ok and had great conversations. After we where all done he bandage me up (even let me pick my bandage color) and we went over care of the tattoo and he sent me home with a "after care" package. Also my tattoo is everything i wanted and more! Overall this experience was AMAZING and the attention to detail went above expectations and was by far the best experience i have ever had. I will forever be coming to this shop for any future work and i HIGHLY recommend this shop and Paul was just the best! read more

I went to go see Jim Parchen after booking an appointment over phone ( they do accept walk ins but it's a good idea to call ahead). I was looking to start my second sleeve, I have my back filled, chest shoulders and a half sleeve already. I've been to many tattoo shops from LA to Japan and New Zealand. This one is the best one I've been to. They have knowledgeable, friendly, badass staff, with excellent professionalism, cleanliness, and post tattoo care. Jim worked with me on my design and gave me professional advice on the aesthetics, flow of design and what will look best now, and 10 years from know. Jim knows his stuff. read more

The shop was really nice, unique and had a great vibe. I was a walk in and the tattoo artist, Kenny, was able to take the pic I had and create the perfect rendition to use. He was professional, supportive, really nice and respectful. This was my first tattoo, and it is exactly what I wanted. I cannot recommend this shop enough, and Kenny specifically. ZERO...Impossible to communicate with either the shop or the artist Leslie Young. Leslie takes my deposit but refuses to answer any emails with questions in a timely manner. After taking my deposit, refuses to communicate about ANYTHING...COMPLETE RADIO SILENCE! Absolutely ZERO communication. Whether you are a good artist, mediocre artist or the best of the best artist, you need to be able to communicate with your cash paying customer on some level. How can we entrust you to work on us when you have absolutely no desire to talk to us. I know the artist does not want make friends BUT you took the money, so then it becomes YOUR JOB to answer any concerns the client has before the session. I am talking basic questions. This review has been a long time coming, I just wanted to wait till my tattoos were fully healed before I wrote it~ I had been researching tattoo parlors in my area because I really was itching for a new tattoo. I had designed my axolotl tattoo and wanted someone who was clean with their lines, and good with color. I found Rabble Rouser through Yelp, and liked the photos I saw. I also went on the Rabble Rouser website to go through all the artists portfolios and liked what I saw even more! In mid October I was ready to get my tattoo done, so I had just walked in to see if there was any availability and I was lucky enough to have Luis House tattoo me that day. The studio was VERY clean, and I loved the decor inside. Luis was very easy to talk to, and very professional. I told him the basic colors I wanted, but I told him other than that he was free to do whatever with the background and shading. It turned out perfect! I love the water and little bubble details he had added to my design! The colors are so vivid, and the line art is perfect! Once my axolotl tattoo healed up, I was wanting to get another done once I heard about the Halloween flash event that they were having. When I went I saw a really cute skeleton bat design that was done by Alayna Magnan. I asked if the tattoo could be done in purple and green inks, and she said yes. I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out! The colors are so vibrant and the line art is so clean. I can't thank Luis and Alayna enough. I get complimented on my tattoos all the time! I will definitely be coming back here for more tattoos in the future! read more

So i've been getting tattoos from Alayna Magnan since March of '11. The quality of her work is impeccable. It's up there with the best work of any great artist you're gonna find. But that's just a part of the whole experience. She's so much fun and amazing as a person that the sessions just fly by. As soon as i'm done i cannot wait for our next appointment! And as a professional artist, there's no comparison. She actually listens to my ideas and suggestions and incorporates them even if it's last minute shit. But her take on the art is so incredible that i almost always defer to whatever direction or recommendation she makes because it's usually a perfect suggestion. As for the shop itself, it's clean and up to any standards. There are no bullshit panels with stupid stock tattoos all over the place. It's truly a custom shop by any definition. Truly a classy place to get a tattoo and have an awesome experience. read more

This spot is great. I was in town for the weekend and on impulse decided to get a new piece done. Jim took me in as a walk in at the end of the day and the piece came out so dope. Ok, hats off to Louis and The whole team here! I have to say after visiting several shops and because I wasn't getting my ink done in Rome while on vacation and then walk around and Fly 11hours so I decided to wait until I got home and find a place. RRT had some good reviews and what I did was go around and check some places out and as with most places I went with my 1st. Impression and gut feeling, after all I am a great judge of character and no one else was going to make this decision for me! I walked into Rabble Rouser Tattoo and asked the general questions and then showed my image and I was asked to hold on one moment and let the receptionist (who was pleasant, smiling and super nice)to go get an artist for me. Not a minute later Luis came up introduced himself , handshake and took a look a the piece and was confident he could definitely do it and had me send it to him via email. The piece was ready to go and made into a larger format that I wanted and the placement was dead on first shot!! ( not an easy task but it' was spot on! Within 10 minutes he was set up in his station and ready to go, having had tattoos before he said still offered to go over everything and what to expect but I was ready and off we went! Now let me say this, the shoppe itself is very relaxing, cool, clean and modern but this place is not brand new, however, it is not worn and torn for being in business for the time it has been. They take care of their stuff and the place is impeccably well taken care of! Luis was personable and talked here and there while going at his craft with great skill and I was pretty amazed because tattoo etiquette usually is that the artist doesn't converse while working, which is understandable but this was different. The whole time he was asking how I was doing, took his time, I didn't feel like he was rushing through, the music was jumping and it was all in all a great experience. Once Luis got done, he went over the aftercare and cleaned it up and had me take a look in the mirror and I did everything not to jump up and act like a ape in heat it was frickin awesome! I did go crazy on my social media pages and the reactions from friends and family was the Same! Another great thing about these guys is for every $100 you spend you get these chips and at the front of the shop are 4 jars for 4 different charities and you put a chip in any of the jars and they make a donation to that charity, which is pretty kick ass, they're giving back and paying forward and making art! I can't wait to get back and get some other ink done with Luis pretty soon too. I wanted to take a moment to recommend Rabble Rouser Tattoo. I found them on the net when looking for "walk-in tattoos". I wanted to have a tattoo covered and hoped that they would be able to help. Met with West, what a pleasure, he helped me with my idea and ended up giving me a new tattoo and revamping the one I wanted covered too! I've since had a few more tattoos with West and cannot recommend him more highly. West has a very light touch and great line work. If you're looking for a first tattoo or someone that is experienced, fast, and has a very light touch I cannot recommend West at Rabble Rouser Tattoo more highly. Staff at RRT is also amazing! The other tattoo artists and staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. I love this place and it's my new "go-to" for tattoos in LA. read more

My tattoo artist, the young spunky Kenny made my first time experience a truly unforgettable one. Upon arrival I was a bit unsure of exactly how I wanted my tattoo to turn out, whether to get it colored or have it done in classical black(which i ended up doing). I was super nervous but Kenny was very patient with me and allowed me to make up my mind. I booked the latest appointment-- which was at 10:30 at night. Kenny had the energy and charisma to encourage me to get the tat--which was in honor of a grandparent. I am so happy with the result and think about it all the time; both the tattoo and the experience. Kenny is a kind kid, great conversationalist and and a talented and experienced tattoo artist. We happened upon Rabble Rouser while having dinner in the area and were immediately impressed by the interior of the shop itself. This is an incredibly well cared for space that feels both totally sterile and yet still warm and inviting. After looking through several books we landed on artist Alayna Magnan (not finding out until much later that she owns the shop and is somewhat of an ink celeb). Alayna's art is so crisp and clean, it was an immediate match. I needed to cover/upgrade an old tat on my hip, and add to one on my shoulder. Alayna took her time in listening to my needs, sketching things out, being sensitive to accuracy and my finickiness about the specifics. Because Alayna is so ridiculously dope at what she does - appointments are booked months out. We put down a deposit and scheduled for a few months out. (PS: "we" is me and my husband, he's scheduled for his in a couple of weeks) When I arrived for my appointment Alayna took time and diligence to sit and make every single detail perfect. She made me feel very comfortable to adjust tiny details and make it exactly how I wanted it, (So many ink artists push you towards what they want...) while still giving her expert advice so the tattoo would look as good as possible. The task was to do two small-ish tats in one sitting. One on my hip and the other on my shoulder. Alayna was careful, precise, and yet executed with expediency. Both tats were done in under 2 hours. After we were finished Alayna walked me through aftercare very thoroughly and I felt confident I would be able to do what was asked (her aftercare is next level future shit) More importantly than all of these logistic details that went so well, is that the ink itself looks so good it makes me laugh out loud. These are the two most beautiful, artistic, realistic pieces of art I could imagine for my body. I am over the moon with what she did and how it looks. I cannot wait to come up with another reason to get a tat from Alayna or from Rabble Rouser in general. This shop is legit, the artists are on point, and the experience is top-notch. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Rabble Rouser and Luis!! Today is the day after my 18th birthday and I decided I wanted a butterfly tattoo ASAP. I called Rabble Rouser to check if they took walk-ins and the man on the phone was super helpful in helping me figure out what time to come in and what to expect. Once I was there, I met my wonderful artist, Luis. Luis had me describe and show him examples of what I wanted. He then went to the back of the shop and returned 20 minutes later with a drawing that was exactly what I had envisioned. Luis then sanitized and set up his station. Everything in the shop was sanitary and I never felt worried of infection or cross contamination. Before I finally got on the table, I asked Luis a million questions about pain, placement, and safety. He answered all of them very patiently and made sure I was comfortable and sure with everything before he started. The tattooing experience itself was seamless. The pain was minimal and Luis was ready to let me take a break if I ever needed to. In the end, the ink took about 30 minutes and was absolutely perfect. It was honestly even better on my skin than in my head!! Luis then went over aftercare and answered a few more questions before sending me on my way. I could not be happier with my experience!!! I paid $150, if anyone is curious about pricing, and it was worth every penny. I attached two pictures of my tattoo as well as two examples I gave Luis. I'm literally awestruck at how perfect he got it!! read more

Rabble Rouser Tattoo is literally a mom and pop shop, opened and operated by a husband and wife tattooing team. We put all the paint on the walls together, hung all the shelves together, and work side by side tattooing together every day! We have hand selected our team of resident artists and guest artists who we see as part of our family. Each artist works in all styles of tattooing, but excels in their specialty style. Our artists are all professionally licensed with many years of experience each, including convention and guest artist travels, magazine press, and award winning tattoos. Our shop co-owner was recently named one of the top 10 tattoo artists in Los Angeles by and one of the top 8 female tattoo artists in Los Angeles, you may also recognize her from Season 3 of Oxygen's "Best Ink" tattoo competition TV series.

Can you lighten tattoos by adding white ink ? I have a beautiful roses done on my shoulder , elsewhere. But it's been 4 months and the shading is just extremely harsh & dark ...Is it possibly to add color / white to make it "pop" more?

It might be possible. However the effect may be temporary since all the ink will settle into the same skin layer. If you’re local to the shop, feel free to come in and we can check out what you have and any options to make pop.

Today, it has been 3 days since we got the tattoo and although the tattoo itself is small, has fine lines, and is on the wrist, it appears as if it has a smear/smudge on one of the corners on both tattoos. This isn't my first tattoo, and my husband and I have been following the after care and have been careful. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

He wanted double bands around his forearm and Sam was able to sketch it out and do the tattoo on the same day. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. He explained the process and aftercare which made getting a tattoo seamless and less daunting. I was on the fence about getting a tattoo but my friend said if he got one I would have to get one too. I decided to get a runner with an ekg as I thought it was fitting for me. I wanted something small for my first tattoo and easily to keep hidden from my mom (sorry mom). He asked me to send him a picture of what I wanted and scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Once Monday came I walked over and signed the consent form. He then printed out the tattoo and placed the outline on my chest and asked me if it was where I wanted it. Being a tattoo noob I trusted his judgement. After letting the outline dry I laid down and he began working on the piece. He said since it was a small tattoo and mainly lines there shouldn't be much pain and the healing process wouldn't be as long. It took about 30 mins to finish up the tattoo and the quality came out amazing. There was no pain at all and he went over the aftercare as well. I showed Sam this other tattoo I wanted and he said he would be able to do that as well. He says his art style is realism and anime so I can't wait to get more work done by him. He has been tattooing for 2 years now along with his apprenticeship. He told me to message him when I'm ready for my next piece. Maybe this tattoo thing is an addiction and will keep you coming back for more.

I have been hankering for a pedicure for a while, and not just any pedicure. I wanted something…read moremore therapeutic. My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.
