This place is new and based off of the reviews we decided to give it a try. Interior is small but cozy. There was a bit of a wait for food as the night we went there was only one server and cook. My brother ordered a steak burrito he's said was great, my friend ordered the Caesar salad so tasty the chicken was cooked to perfection. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Live up in Chicago, but on our way to hike at Kankakee, we looked for a place for good sandwiches on the way, near highway and NOT fastfood. At Chef Luis's suggestion, we had the French Dip, as the meat is really tender. Wow! Good choice! Not only tender, but the French roll was crusty and warm, tasting like homemade bread. If you are looking for a drink with dinner this is not your place. They have no beer, wine, or alcohol at all. Steak tacos were pretty good - but there was some gristle. The Birria queso tacos were pretty good. The "corn in cup" is Elote and that was the best thing we had. There is no table service. Don't let the strip mall fool you, this place has upscale food! My husband and I were blown away by the flavors! We shared the steak nachos-the tortilla chips were freshly made, the steak was so flavorful and they were huge! I got the steak tacos with a side is Mexican street corn-authentic and delicious! Bottom line up front, I will visit this restaurant again and try other things on the menu I had the birria tacos they were tasty the consomme was underwhelming but they may be going for a specific market I brought my so a Cobb generous portion but scant on the blue cheese and avocado ( nice presentation but it wasn't a pretty as the pic on the flyer) maybe next time I will eat in house; they were courtesy and super nice and I wish them much success. read more

It's a quiet place to have lunch or dinner. Lots of seating available. Looks smaller from the outside. Menu has a variety to choose from. Fish tacos are great, sandwiches are delicious also. The only really good item I have tried so far was the burger. Really tasty. Everything else I've tried has been just okay. I once tried the Monterrey Chicken Sandwich and all I could taste was the Cole slaw on it. It just overpowered the sandwich. Definition of hole in the wall type of place. My Husband and I wanted to try a new place, this place stood out because of their variety selection menu. We tried their buffalo wing appetizer, birria tacos, and buffalo chicken sandwich. We even tried a fresh drink, watermelon, lemon, and mint (not on the menu) very refreshing. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Got to meet the owner Ivan, super nice guy and he gave us a little background story on this restaurant. Most of the food items are made from scratch.
