Got home and found out that they forgot a $5 side of rice, and a $1 side of sauce. Everything we got was super tasty, but it kinda sucks that every time we go they forgot something. (The first time they forgot our pita) I really have to remember to start checking my food before I leave places.

Pretty decent, clean, friendly, fast & busy! Parking is easy, outside seating. Located between Viva & Subway off of Wilmot.

Gyro with Tzatziki Plate

Food was incredible, I haven't had Urban Pita in about 5 years now, and this one on wilmot is just as delicious as the Congress location. I had the Gyro plate and it was worth the price. Fresh and quick, will be returning soon.

Food was fresh and tasty. I ordered the Greek Salad adding Gyro meat. No dressing came with it and Tzatziki Sauce is $1 for a tiny portion... Restaurant is clean and the people working were friendly! With a soda and tip came to $24... Opa's Best is still the place to go for Gyros...

I am officially in love! A super quick dolma and falafel stop?! Yes please. The falafel was crispy and crunchy and moist, and the dolma was perfection. The hummus was thick, and the salad dressing was tangy! The plate was a perfect mixture of flavors. I'm all in. Take me again!

Service was amazing and the food was even better! I got the chicken shawarma and it was so tender and I fell in love. Will definitely come back!!

We ordered takeout for Valentine's Day, and we could not have been happier with the food. We had Greek salad, gyro, chicken, Shawarma, hummus and falafel. We were especially fond of the falafel. It was everything that you would want falafel to be crispy on the outside and tender in the middle the Greek salads were absolutely 10 out of 10. My only complaint is that it was not bigger! The meats were delicious as well tender and perfectly seasoned. We were too stuffed to eat our chocolate hummus.I highly recommend.

Oh my goodness this place is amazing! The food is cooked perfectly, tastes fresh and outstanding. Everything is so flavorful and looks outstanding. The food presentation is top notch. The seasonings, dressings and sauces that come with the meals is "chef's kiss! I've been here 3 times this week. It's affordable for what you get and the price. The fries are from real potatoes (go figure)! I went once just for fries... It's always extremely clean inside and outside. The staff is courteous, professional and attentive. I had questions and all were answered. The gyro, chicken and steak all have their own delicious sauce and seasonings and everything I ordered is just dreamy, mouth-watering, and pure deliciousiness in my mouth! The little cup of whipped butter is insanely delicious and I've been dipping everything into it because it lasts and I'm not a bread person either, but I've been eating their bread and butter like every time I go. Totally recommend all day every day!

We arrived at 12:30 and they were slammed. No available parking, so my daughter dropped me off (so sweet) and parked a couple doors down. The dining room was packed and noisy. The young man who greeted us said he'd have a table in ten minutes or we could sit in the air conditioned patio area. That's what we did. The patio was quiet and a large fan blowing over a trough of ice kept us cool and comfortable. We started with an appetizer of hummus, tzatziki, pita, and dolmades, with sliced cucumbers and tomatoes. The tzatziki was the best I've had. The sliced veggies were great so my celiac daughter could scoop the yummy spreads instead of pita. As lamb lovers, we ordered the lamb kabob plate and the lamb clay pot. The plate came with scrumptious rice, Greek salad, and sliced veg. The clay pot was filled with diced potatoes, tomatoes, and tender cubes of lamb, beautifully seasoned. So much delicious food! Our waiter offered dessert, but we were stuffed and settled for to-go boxes. I had an excellent lunch for two more days! As a big fan of Mediterranean food, I don't know how I could have missed Istanbul, but my first time surely won't be my last.

My review is for the Indian street food pop up. I noticed that this Mediterranean restaurant had…read morepop up menus for different styles of Indian food on some weekends. One of those pop up menus is an Indian street food menu that is fully vegetarian and also egg free (Indian pure vegetarian.) My husband and I went a couple times, once in May 2025 and once in Feb 2026 and it was delicious and beautifully plated. My review for the food itself is 5 stars. During those two visits we tried: (May 2025) -Pani Puri: Fresh and delicious and I recommend ordering it spicy if you eat spicy. -Samosa Chaat : This was a 5 star dish for me! It was the best samosa I have ever had with the most delicious toppings and condiments. We asked for yogurt on the side, I'd totally get that again. My second favorite dish here! -Dabeli: This was a 5 star dish for me! It was a perfectly balanced work of art with the delicious filling and bun and the pomegranate and peanuts on top. Super fresh and so so delicious. I would absolutely return just for that- my favorite dish here!! (Feb, 2026) -Sev Puri: This was good. the fried potato on the cracker was fresh and I really liked the sauce mix on it with tamarind. It reminded me a little bit of the filling in Trinidadian doubles. We asked for yogurt on the side. -Pav Bhaaji: This was good but my least favorite dish here. I think probably just because of how amazing the others are though. This one also contains clarified butter which I don't typically eat. I liked it with the lime and raw onions added to the curry. -Vada Pav : This was my favorite from today's dishes! I loved the perfectly fried spicy green chili pepper in it. I wish I didn't eat that whole chilli pepper in one bite because I wanted more when it was gone. My husband experienced it the same way. He also noted how fluffy the potato was inside like mashed potato. This was perfect for sharing since there were two. This dish is native to Maharashtra. - Aloo tiki chaat : This was good. the fried potato patty reminded me a tad of a potato latke. Toppings were good and included mint. We asked for yogurt on the side Both times we sat on the patio and enjoyed a relaxed dinner. When we came in May they were very nice to check if we were happy with spice level or wanted more spice and talked to us about the food. They seemed passionate about it and It made for a really fun and interesting experience. When we came in February, we had less engagement with staff. A couple things I would like to note: 1. They add a service fee of 10% on bills without notifying the costumer. The first time I went, since they didn't notify me of that before I paid or gave me a detailed bill, I left a tip over that total amount that already included 10%. I do think it should be communicated to customers in advance. When I realized this and pointed it out to them they did refund it. The second time I remembered there was a fee but I noticed it was still not communicated to me a head of ordering. I don't appreciate that business practice of hidden fees and that is the reason I lowered to 4 stars. The food itself is 5 stars for me. 2. I would not recommend their pop ups for people with severe allergies. I was hoping and still hope they eventually transition the restaurant to Indian or add a regular Indian menu. Especially since there is only one restaurant in the Tucson area that serve south indian food (Spice Garden Indian Cuisine in Marana) . I have yet to try the mediterranean food here aside from a complimentary baklava in May which was not my favorite. Sounds like the two current owners bought the business sometimes around January 2025 and I am curious (and really hope ) to see the Indian dishes become a more regular part of the menu on a daily basis. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

Their pita is really thin and not my favorite and the falafel, although fried well, is fairly bland for me/ not seasoned the way I prefer it. I liked the filling of the spinach pastries, these are pretty simple in terms of flavor but I enjoyed dipping them in the hummus and Baba ganoush. I ate here once for lunch as well as one time for a complimentary dinner meal they generously offered in a giveaway collaboration with Tucson Food Tours. The owner seemed kind. During the complimentary meal I shared the table with other people who got selected to participate and several of them have never had middle eastern food before.
