wanted to go to this place at least four times before I write this review. Each time I've been there, thoroughly enjoyed everything. From the wine, the service, the food, and prices. Absolutely love the atmosphere. From Downstairs in a cozy room or upstairs with a nice outdoor Seating area. Love their linguine with mussels and clams, their pepperoni pizza, tuna tartar Just to name a few. Everything is delicious here! Looking forward to going here for many more years and trying everything on the menu

What a real treat to finally make it to Urban Press Winery & Restaurant! My friend and I have circled this restaurant and our schedule finally aligned. The decor has an old European charm to it, and it makes you feel like you're transported to a far away winery even though you're in the middle of Downtown Burbank. Wednesday night is a great night to visit since they have Happy Hour including $10 pastas all night! To start off, we had the Charcuterie with an assortment of delicious deli meat and cheese, fig jam, olives, dried nuts and fruits, and foccacia. It's a great appetizer and paired well with the white wines we had with our 6-glass wine taster set! The Arancini is also a must have for appetizer. It is crunchy, savory, and just so delicious. It is similar to meatballs in a sense, but lighter as a filling. For our main entrées, we had the smaller Happy Hour portions of the Cacio e Pepe, a classic Roman pasta that I love, and Agnolotti, a butternut squash and ricotta stuffed pasta with browned butter sauce. As much as I love Cacio e pepe, this one is a little bit underseasoned, but still tasty. I just wanted more from it. The Agnolotti was the clear winner between the two with its delicate balance of cheesiness, nuttiness, and sweetness. Finally, we had two pizzas, the Fennel Pork Sausage as well as the Quattro Formaggi (four cheeses). Both are quite tasty, but the Quattro Formaggi is just so good with its Asiago, Gorgonzola, Parmesan, and Truffle Oil, and ultimately the more memorable pizza. Service was excellent and it was just a lovely dining experience overall. I can't wait to come back!

I've been meaning to write this review! They exceeded my expectations for my engagement party. The food, service, and decor were all wonderful. We hosted about 20 people for lunch and everything was delicious. I selected the Rigatoni Bolognese, Chicken Piccata, and Baby Gem Caesar salad for the lunch menu. We also added pizzas for extra options and I brought a cake. I don't like cannolis so bring your own dessert if you're not a cannoli fan! Rose, the event coordinator, was amazing to work with and made the process so easy. Pricing was very fair for the overall experience. The decor during Christmas/new years was beautiful. I highly recommend Urban Press Winery for events or casual dining!

Urban Press Winery is a hidden gem located in downtown Burbank--beautiful space and delicious food! I have been here several times for various occasions, including my bridal shower last year, and have had good experiences overall. For me, the pasta is a standout--I also love the braised lamb dish served with risotto. I believe if you make a reservation beforehand for dinner after a certain time, you get a free wine tasting. Perfect place for date night or for a vibey special occasion!

Came here with my partner on a Thursday night, we made reservations through their website 2 hours prior and it was fairly easy! They have a live music downstairs where you enter from the restaurant and it's nice, I'm glad the music wasn't too overbearing or too loud which is nice. We ordered the fennel sausage pizza as an appetizer and I must say it was pretty solid. The dough has a light airy texture and a nice chew. It wasn't crispy or too floppy, I think they made it just right. Not too burnt and not undercooked, it was perfect. It had a good flavor and I think this was my favorite dish of the night. I highly recommend this or any of their pizzas, I don't think you'll go wrong. I had the lamb shank and it was on top of a bed of risotto. The lamb shank has a good flavor, but I felt it was kind of tough. Usually lamb shanks should be fall off the bone tender but this one wasn't. I had to keep chewing for a while to finally be able to swallow it. There were some parts of it where it was tender, but the rest not so much. The risotto was quite delicious though, but if I wanted risotto to be the star, I would've ordered that instead. My partner ordered the mushroom and asparagus risotto. He said it was solid, but he prefers the pizza over the risotto. The mushrooms were nice and fleshy and the asparagus still had a nice bite to it, sometimes it's a hit or miss with asparagus. It's either too hard or too soft, and he says they got it spot on. It had a good flavor to it too, not too salty. Overall, I think I'd come back for the pizza, everything else was good but not WOW.

Great upper room with a view.

This is a hidden gem. First time dining at this place since COVID. They have made many updates to this place the outdoor patio is great! They have a bathroom in many areas. Joe took care of us and provided great service. He was very attentive. The food was tasty. The avocado toast is only be served with white bread which was a little disappointed. Urban provides many places for a private party. They are closed Monday and Tuesday but give them a try for your next event or dining experience.

I had dinner with friends, and it was amazing! It was amazing because the staff were warm and welcoming! We were well taken care of! We ordered charcuterie for starters plus two bottles of wine (rosé). We added pasta for the main entree. If you want to get the full experience of their entree, it will be best to go with that first rather than the charcuterie. I wasn't able to fully enjoy my pasta because I was already full after the charcuterie even though we got the small size. Hoping to go back for a different experience! The interior is nice and the place is intimate. Best for first dates too!

We had the most exceptional experience for our bridal shower. The food was amazing, Rose and the staff were kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Planning the event from across the country had its challenges but Rose made it easy. We also met up at the venue for one final meeting to iron out any last minute plans. Wonderful experience all around.

Had the most incredible work dinner last night at Urban Press Winery! We reserved their private room for about 20 people, and everything was perfect. The space was beautiful, the food and wine were delicious, and the service was outstanding. We added a few lanterns with tea lights for a cozy touch, and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. We started with the most amazing charcuterie boards -- complete with truffle honey that was absolutely to die for. Dinner was served family-style: stuffed chicken, branzino, mashed potatoes with a dreamy sauce I'm still thinking about, fresh veggies, and Italian beignets for dessert. Truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Urban Press Winery for any private event or special dinner!

Had a really nice Sunday brunch at Urban Press on their back patio. They have unlimited brunch on the weekends that costs $39, and you get to try smaller portions of lots of different menu items. It was my first time here, and most of the dishes were honestly really good. I'd recommend making a reservation since the patio fills up fast on weekends. Parking: Burbank recently installed metered parking on the main streets, and parking is sometimes hard to find. For free parking- I would recommend parking at the AMC 16 or near the mall and walk over to the Winery. Ambiance: The back patio was super cute and relaxing. There were curtains, umbrellas for shade, and lots of plants. It had a calm, nature vibe that made brunch feel extra nice. Food: Very yummy! You get 90 minutes to try a ton of brunch items on their menu with items ranging from fluffy stacks of pancakes to lobster egg benedicts and pasta. You can order the same dish more than once if you find one you really enjoy. They also offer a free bread basket- ours was filled with focaccia, croissants, and pain au chocolat. There are tons of bread but you don't have to finish the bread basket. Overall, this place was a a cozy brunch spot for us with tons of good food, especially if you like trying a little bit of everything. Urban Press is known for their wine too, but we didn't try any this time- maybe next time!

We hosted 35 ladies this past Saturday for our annual holiday brunch, and everything was absolutely amazing! The venue was gorgeous, and the atmosphere was perfect for our celebration. A huge shout-out to Rose, our main contact and coordinator. She was an absolute joy to work with -- flexible, organized, and so accommodating throughout the entire process. We chose the brunch and drink package, and the value was truly on point. Service never stopped, and the staff handled our (very loud!) group with so much patience and kindness. The food was delicious, the drinks kept flowing, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Whether you're planning a date night or a large group event, I highly recommend this spot. We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful date spot. The ambiance was above and beyond. Everything from their creative wine bottle pass through to their indoor/outdoor patio. Either so much natural lighting and greenery it felt like you were right there at the vineyard. They also make all their own wines and offer a flight option to taste them all. Definitely worth a stop in !

I have often wished I could find a neighborhood jazz club that I could frequent regularly. Having been a singer, including in a few clubs along the way, it would be a treat to find a place to go, sing along, do a pop-up set, and enjoy food and a glass of wine. But, jazz clubs are few and far between in L.A., and they are usually open late at night, which lets me out -- I am not going to drive an hour in the wee hours, iykwim. Enter Urban Press! We booked it for a late lunch and to our surprise, there was a jazz duo. Dave Tull on the drums and Wayne Weiland on the keyboard. They were very good. That explains why the room filled up at a truly off hour. I think there is usually a cover charge for this, but we did not pay one. Yay! The food was very good. Loved the decor and the general vibe. It is in the middle of a happening part of Burbank (Burbank is looking great right now, having fully recovered from the covid nightmare). Everything we ordered was perfect. The portions are generous too. View my pictures. It was all so cool that we plan to put it on the regular rotation. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear good jazz on a lazy afternoon. You won't want to leave.

They do have parking behind the building which seems to fill pretty quickly if they're busy, but it's easy to find parking around the neighborhood. I am not usually in the tavern scene so I was surprised that we had to order and pay at the bar, but it wasn't a big issue. My friend and I split the kale caesar salad and the macaroni and cheese. For the table, I ordered the waffle fries after being informed by the kind waitress that that was the better choice over the pretzel (which she also said was amazing). Since the place was filling up for the final, the kitchen was a bit slow, but we barely noticed with how attentive the staff were in getting us drinks and refills. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised with this place and is honestly the reason I'm writing this review. The first things we got were the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries, Caesar Salad, and mac and cheese. Obviously the fries were much better, however the salad was also divine but just swimming in dressing. Back to the fries, we all were mindblown with how tavern fries could be this good and had so many flavors. Even the skinny queens in our group kept snacking on them which tells you how good these were. Mac and cheese came and it was standard and creamy but not necessarily something I'd return for. The surprising thing on top of the fries that majority of us loved was the Vegan Tomato Scampi with shrimp. It was fire and had me questioning if it was even Vegan. Would definitely return here if I find my way back to SoCal from the Bay. Great unassuming place with great food and vibes. Their bathroom as well is super clean and nice! Love this place!

Haley also supports the community in a big way with a cool bulletin area and display showcasing lots of services, business cards and local happenings. Easy stroll from North Hollywood station, LA Metro services and parking garages. Street parking is around, side streets and further up can be your friend, but if you know this part of North Hollywood in the NoHo Arts District, you know parking can be a journey. Rideshare is fairly easy here. And when having a glass a two, drinking responsibly is also good for you. Restroom available for customers. Wine Shop neon sign is something I need to see more in my life. Not to mention all the great artwork for sale on their walls. Open Wednesday through Sunday as early as 2PM during weekdays and as early as Noon on weekends. Closing hour vary on special nights and pop ups, such as Trivia Thursdays (open until 9pm), or that cool Dumpling Pop up that was happening the day I popped in. Good vibes, upright piano and perfect lighting that's waiting for you. Haley's Wines is top tier fun, classes, special events and then some, so raise a glass and cheers to this gem waiting for you!

This event is absolutely the perfect way to start the holiday season!…read more The Event: The Holiday Street Fair started at 12pm till 8pm. It's a few blocks on San Fernando Road. Wide varieties of different vendors. It's time to do some holiday shopping! Wine Walk started at 4pm till 7pm. Separate check in areas for General Admission and VIP Admission. It's good to separate the crowd. General Admission checked in on Palm Ave. VIP checked in in front of the mall. VIP has it's own lounge area on the terrace at the mall. There were food & wine tasting stations. Great atmosphere with music and beautiful Christmas tree. Lots of seating areas to enjoy the party! On San Fernando Road, there were 4 tasting stations spread out. In addition, more tasting stations at different restaurants and retail stores. It was fun following the map & doing some "treasure hunt" ( WINE!) There was a live band playing music starting in the afternoon till the night. What a fun street party! Very well organized event! The Parking: Several parking structures in downtown Burbank and it's FREE too!

SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!! Highlights were really the 4 main areas fenced off. They had music and wine walkers just hanging out. Danced, drank, made some new friends, and decided I'll need to come back again next year. I did like they had some things other than wine. Tips for improvement --- maybe some water stations to rinse cups out or get some water in our cups. Shout out to Artelice patisserie for giving us water... their croissants were delicious. And some of their desserts were amazingly beautiful. Another shout out to wild carvery for having food samples. We went back today to have lunch. A couple places were very uncomfortable and the map wasn't the greatest , look at I believe 35-37 on the map. Olive/San Fernando. Overall a great time and will be back next year. thank you so much
